Anyone got one?
I want to extract the version of swype from there, can't do it on my phone because there's something weird going on with the adb drivers on my comp.
Any help much appreciated

Does that still have the original version of swype on there? I just need the apk.

I deleted /system/app/EPST.apk and /system/app/EPST.odex via Root Explorer by mistake after I got the ROOT permission. Anybody knows how to restore them?
By the way, I wanted to download EPST.apk and EPST.odex from the Internet, unfortunately, I couldn't find any. Can anybody give a copy of them?

I am sorry that I don't know what the versions of darchs or flipz. I am just a beginner.
My phone is Android 1.5, and I haven't updated the ROM since I bought it. The build number is 1.29.651.1CL69164....

Anyone want to help me by making a new updated XML format version of the Darchdroid 2.7 signal fix? I updated Metamorph and the old one won't work. Says all themes need to be updated to a new XML to be compatible. Anyone know about this?

My .xml file doesnt work with the newer Metamorph?
if that's the case, what the hell is that guy doing...backwards compatibility anyone?

edit: also which version of MM are you using? newest one ( 1.9.9.13) just hangs on the initializing screen.
Yes I'm running the update from last night. It runs the theme and says it can't complete.

Here are the screen shots of the error. Keep in mind it says all themes applied, but does nothing. Only had this issue since I updated.
thats not a problem with the xml. Extract the Darch_visual_fix.zip using a computer or something onto your sdcard. then navigate to the xml with MM. don't use MM to extract the zip

Are you using an old version of the installer? That might be the problem.
I just downloaded the installer and Swype and got version 2.4.44.10912
So 2.4.44.10912 is the newest version?
I'm getting an error message when using the updated version. It says:
The Swype package you installed is configured for another device and will opeate with limited functionality.

Yeah, I can confirm 2.4.44.10912 is the latest version. Just downloaded the new SwypeInstaller and reinstalled Swype. Seems like they've changed its looks yet again from the 1.61 version. Though the changes this time are very subtle.
I've been running 1.61 and would love to try out 2.4.44.10912. Since I am an unofficial beta tester, can someone PM me with a way to get the newest version.
I'd appreciate it.

The Swype site says that my EVO isn't an Android phone. I've tried with both CM6 and Fresh 3.2.

i think it will like i said i got it to boot all the way to the boot animation but then it just sits there loading i think i may need my updater scrip looked at or it needs a new kernel but i dont think its the kernel but i could be wrong

Interesting thought, but I can't really see the point, the Magic resources is maxed out at 2.2, even sluggish at 2.1.
There's no more features for the honeycomb phne version as of now.

so far it boots but then sits on the boot animation it is not frozen just sits there so that is the progress so far if you wanna take a look i can email you the link to the rom
i wrote him all in a email. he got the .zip and will have a look of it
btw. yesterday with the lp instead of the launcher2 didn't work. it sat in the bootanimation.
