Xperia timescape - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

So, Google search led me to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1896161
After looking in the zip and seeing that there was nothing life threatening, I went ahead and flashed it over hatka (with Xperia launcher keyboard and walkman installed prior. It actually worked to my surprise. Some of the widgets came up in current Xperia launcher that is included in hatka but not Timescape. The launcher in the zip works and so does Timescape with that launcher but the launcher seems to be off center and shrunken on our screen, which makes sense since it is a port for a phone with a higher resolution than our HOX. Seems like this would be a simple fix for someone with skill in the department. Anyways, I'd live to use the Timescape widgets. Anyone care to port it the rest of the way or point me in the right direction of how to do this myself? Like I said shadvance!simple since it's 90% done and just needs the resolution corrected. Thanks in advancea

Sense like calender widget

I just moved from the HTC Eris(Hero) to a Motorola Droid 2 and so far I am liking it, but i am missing Sense calendar widget. Is there anything in market or something an XDA dev created that is similar to it? Or is there some how a way to get it working on the D2 with out Sense, which I hear because of the locked boot-loader is not possible at the moment. Thank you.
Launcher Pro Plus has a built in calendar widget that looks very good and similiar to the sense calendar.
No, it can't be ported because Sense is closed source and widgets rely too heavily on the sense framework. I use pure calendar grid for this function.
I prefer not to use another launcher as I am enjoying stock Android right now(a difference change from sense which I really like). I will take a look at pure widget.
BTW they were able to get most of sense on the original Droid/milestone because the boot loader was not locked. Or on the G1, G2, and other HTC device that didn't natively come with sense. As long as you have access to the framework and bootloader I think you can use a sense based rom.

For what it's worth LauncherPro is based on the stock launcher, and is almost the same in terms of looks.. just added smoothness and functionality like said widgets, resizing, built-in notification dock, etc.. you could even put the Froyo dock background on it and it would look just like the stock Android. Just saying in case you think it will look all themed-out..

Yes but you are not able to use the widgets without using the sense launcher... it's as easy as that
I will demo both and see what I like better. I just assumed that pro meant paid version.
Edit: I guess if I want the calender widget I have to go with the paid plus version. I wish I could demo the Plus before I make a decision.
I have tried a few calendar Widgets including the one from launcher pro and Calendar Pad, but found that Jorte is the best one for me and my wife. Many options from sizes to colors. Extremely customizeable.
Look up Jorte in the marketplace, plus it's free
I use jorte. I think youll like it, http://androinica.com/2010/04/16/jorte-is-a-promising-android-calendar-replacement-app-reviews/
That doesn't look like a bad option either. Hmmmm.

Xperia Play theme for Go Launcher

http://es.m.androidzoom.com/android_themes/ringtones/theme-xperia-play_bfhve.html
Just in case you like the stock theme and want to bring it to Go.
THIS APP IS GONE
Unfortunately, as this app is no longer available on the Android Market, it can't be downloaded. Seek out related apps.
-.-
sony launchifier can be used on the superior launcher,ADW!
You could just use the Sony Ericsson launcher. Here.
no its terrible! terrible folders, terrible drawer, forgets the apps in folders that ever existed, app drawer is bonkers when in MSC,everything about it is BAD!!
2.3.4 Screwed my Go Launcher themes, anyone know of any themes that still work on this version?

what is benefit when upgrade to ICS

all phone now are try to put ICS on their mobile phone...but i want to know ICS is good or not on our mobile phone? ICS give better performance or not? better memory management? sorry for my bad english..
more features and new layout, runs smother, i might flash ics when the rom is avalibable on my phone but i personaly like cm7 2.3, the whole layout to me is great but ics looks very tempting!
I've tried it on my Motorola Atrix and it looks pretty cool. Widgets are available by picking them up from the app-drawer. You can resize widgets and apps to fit them to the screen.
But I read, that google collects to much stuff, such as credit-card numbers (you can skip this point, but some won't recognize it, see http://www.googlewatchblog.de/2011/11/android-ics-fragt-nach-google-account-kreditkarten-daten/ (sorry, it's in German)).
I've tried the KANG rom (CM9). Camera doesn't work yet, but it looks nice. But for me too less hardware for my Atrix is supportet (HDMI, webtop, fingerprint-scanner...).
But if it's running, I will switch from blured-roms to CM9 ICS
Yeah I'm really wondering about the face unlock and especially the resizable widgets. Does anyone know about how many could fit on screen when resized to the smallest setting? This has been one thing I thought they should have done a long time ago.
I can get the calendar widget down to 2x2.
I'm running sandvolds ics for desire and it is very smooth.
Resizeable widgets
Stacking icons into folders
Can remove apps from the app drawer
Voice commands work quite well, but there is room for improvement

sony timescape/xperia arc launcher/xperia events

so i was just roaming around xda when i came across these, they are xperia launchers and timescape for the optimus black, i've tried out timescape and it works, will try the xperia arc launcher soon and see if that aswell. OBviously since its not made for the purpose of our phones bits and pieces would be missing, but still fun to try and maybe get it working with our stock launcher or something.
xperia launcher http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1397093
timescape http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1471578 . PS: can someone edit the updater-script file so it says "920" instead of "970" pleassse and then sign it so people on here can install on their optimus3d using cwm .THANKS
Xperia events http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1476946
this would be a cool feature to use on our phones

Will I mess up my phone if I try flashing this?

It's the Motorola M Launcher but not specified for our Verizon GS3.

I'm currently on MB1 Jelly Beans Rom build 15. Really like the "Rings Widget" on the Motorola Launcher and wanted to rock this launcher for a while. Will this mess up my phone if I try flashing it?

Thanks for the links! To be honest I just want the Motorola Rings Widget lol.....I could care less about the actual launcher. I'm not really feeling that you have to always swipe left to get to other home screens. That seems it'll be very annoying!
Okay I am confirming that this launcher definitely works with the Verizon GS3. I am on MB1 Running Jelly Beans Build 15. This launcher is running fine so far on this Rom. Only bug I found is when you swipe right to get to Motorla's quick settings, if you select the GPS to be on it'll crash and ask you to choose the home screen again. But that's not a big deal to me because I have the GPS toggle when I pull the notification bar down in the quick toggles
I only have two gripes about this launcher so far.
1. You can only swipe left to get to other home screens.
2. The consistent Google Search is always there but it's Google Now so I don't mind it too much. Just a little annoying to be on every home page.
After rocking this Launcher last night, all night, and this morning I found that though it does work it seems to make things glitchy and not as smooth. I had to get off the launcher because the Weather was NOT updating itself. It kept showing me it was still night time at 9AM in the morning and when I check on it, it'll say last updated 3 soomething AM. If the launcher was more stable and functional I'd stay on it because it's nice to have a different look and feel every once in a while. But this version of it is not a daily driver in my opinion.
