So with every daily build can I just flash it over the current so I don't have to redo my apps and layouts and stuff? Or will it be reset anyway

You can't really blame them as they've put up with people who thought they were too good for the rules for so damn long. We'll ignore the fact that when you first show up in the Infuse forums, there's a forum labeled Q&A. Common sense would dictate that maybe questions should go there.
So you already showed a lack of common sense by skipping over a forum plainly labeled Q&A for all the world to see. After running blindly past that forum you ended up here in the development section. I mean yeah you really shouldn't be tossing random questions here but I could see how it could confuse you, here you see TWO CM7 threads, wow you hit the jackpot!
But once again instead of taking a minute to check those posts out, instead of using the handy dandy search tool up there ^ and instead of at least posting in one of the other CM7 related threads, you decided to say **** IT to common sense and created a brand new thread for your question.
You aren't special, the question has been asked and answered elsewhere, go forth and find the answer you seek.

i mean cmon dude. its a question. if you connect the dots, it can easliy lead you to the Q&A... i do not see one bit of android development here... development of flaming is freaking blossoming though.

our devs who left left for a better phone with better software support that isn't held back by that carrier since it can have software ported from the international version but they each may build one last rom when att drops gb, mikey is still answering in his thread and he and gtg both indicated that they may give it one last shot when the official gb drops. also entropy is still here, though he also got a gs2.

Would flashing one of the skyrocket 4.0.4 be worth while? Obviously would flash Hercules kernel and rotation/build prop fix.

So thread locked for a few reasons. Asking for a good rom is relevant to every one person and what one thinks is good doesn't mean you will like it. Second wrong section. And since you know how to port it there is no reason for this thread.

CM10 Camera

Hey just wondering if anyone knows when the cm10 camera will get the option to save to external? It seems like such a simple but useful option that they just left out which was on cm9 and i'm sure they will eventually include.

Do you ever do anything besides troll these threads to hunt for people posting in the wrong category? Seriously, I've never seen any comment you've made on XDA that adds value or benefit to any discussion. He should post in a CM thread with 1,000 replies so his question can get buried under half a dozen ongoing discussions in the thread? OP had a legitimate question so he posted in Q&A. But back on track, to the op, ETA's for cm10 are unknown. They're currently working on getting the codebase stable, but once that's done second tier features like this one will be implemented

This was asked on my thread and the best answer is: it's up to you. If it's important to you, see if you can hack it out. Or try to get someone to work on it for you. And I used to give **** to illnevertell, who coincidentally is someone I'd call a friend now. Does he troll? yeah. Could it be called annoying to some? Sure, but he has a point and his hearts in the right place. As I've mentioned before, its like being a government employee; when you deal with assholes and morons all day long, you begin to think that everybody is one. Question after question that could be handled without wasting anyone's time gets annoying as well. I actually saw a thread begun a while back for a douche mad at XDA and everyone in it because the idiot asked a dumb question in a dumber way and got his panties all bunched up at some ribbing about it. I believe it was something to the effect of "I am going to tell everyone I know on the net to stay away from XDA". Seriously? This is supposed to be a learning and sharing forum, not ****ing tech support for morons who want a flashy phone without doing anything to earn it. FYI, asking for ETAs is kinda the xda equivalent of crapping the bed.
As for if there will be releases this week: maybe. Sometimes the devs like to give us a little Christmas present. But don't forget that they are people too and this is one of the busiest weeks of the year for many people.

I think the idea of the galaxy camera is that people love the convenience cellphones provide for in allowing your photos to be shared to social media platforms. The problem is even the best phone cameras are still phone cameras. The galaxy camera retains the social networking convenience and introduces a nice camera (optical zoom) onto the equation. Curious how Google+ just recently allowed for full quality photo uploads eh?

This is the problem with xda. Not you. Personally i think you did nothing wrong. You were simply asking if anyone knew if a significant release for a ROM was being planned for this week. You weren't asking for someone to make a ROM, you weren't asking for an eta. Instead everyone decides to be incredibly disrespectful toward you. Maybe op didn't want to go through every single ROM thread over the past 5 or so pages looking for posts by the dev.

Ok, here's all I meant: I love xda and the developers. I flash like crazy and keep finding something better as one Rom leap frogs the other. So I was tongue in cheek asking for a break from flashing, to save me from myself this week, not for what to flash next.

You have no idea how many of these dumb threads pop up. They are not allowed.
It's fairly simple, look through the dev section, read the op, read the comments, check the size of the Rom, and see if it has the features you want.

Man u guys have gotten meaner over time. That being said OP u need to go through the development section and see what u like. If u don't know what aokp, pacman, or cm10 is some googling will help u.
If all else fails, pick up the title u go best and move from there.

K. Tried about 5 or 6 different roms. Could only get about half to even install. Out of those I like CM10 Official.

I hear ya man. But being so new at this, I was hoping to have a helpful hand point me in the right direction. It's all good though, I spent about 18 hours over the last few days figuring this out. Got a decent handle on how everything works now. Thanks for all the help everyone!
