Note: This ROM is using an older version of ParanoidPreferences. This is because the latest one has a few issues.

Sometimes you get gapps process force close, and the gesture keyboard doesnt work. Both are GApps problems. I'm finding better GApps. I'll update the post when I find them.

Thats problem due to GApps. IDK what lib is needed for fixing it. But I'll look into it.
The GApps given here are from CM10.1 thread.
BTW, Guys, I gotta go right now. I'll post screenshots after a few hours.

Great job man!

>mounts2sd (no config needed).zip didnt work, but the app mentioned in OP may be working fine, its not working for me(i never used it before may be i am configuring it wrong)

As I mentioned earlier, the gesture typing force close is GApps issue. I'm looking into it

its not moving the entire data to to the sd ext, and when its moving only some 100mb ... and when i reboot the settings reset
btw i uploaded the benchmarks , i can upload the screen shots too if you want

I have screenshots. Uploading them. But you can too if you want too
In mounts2sd app, go to configure. Select Applications dalvik-cache and cache (thats what I select. You can select data too if you want.)
Then scroll down, and in misc, select disable safe mode.
Then reboot.
Everything should work fine now.

UPDATE: Amal Das has confirmed that S2E for CM10.1 zip works.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2098841
Downlaod it.
Reboot to recovery.
Mount System.
Flash zip.
Boot back into ROM, open S2E. In settings tick mount as ext4.
Reboot.
Open S2E, tick whatever you want and reboot again.

@Nihar.G
Great work..downloading
Btw,can i flash new Pandora Kernel over it ?
thanks

s2e works
mounts2sd app works only if you dont reverse mount
And int2ext+ works....

@marko just flash and see (make a nandroid backup before though )
please do share if performance increases
@nihar
1)there is a big drop in the benchmark score after i restored all apps, dont know why
2) when i am making a nandroid backup in CWM6 everything is going fine but it says it cannot backup the sd-ext cos it cannot mount or something(i will again try backup and tell you the exact error)
3)wifi is not turning on sometimes(like it does in cm10b6, its getting stuck at turning on(will give you the logcat in sometime)
4)i didnt try alpha5 but i find this rom little laggy compared to cm10b6. Is Vsync enabled in this rom?
5)GPS is not locking the location, even after tuning on gps, its still showing an accuracy radius of 600mts(cos of mobile internet), and there is no icon in the notification bar , its like it didnt recognize the gps source or something. may be PMR will fix this as it did a similar problem in cm10b6(will try and update you)
alternative for gesture typing is swype, i have tried,
apart from the above problems the rom is very nice, i am using it as daily driver

Installation
First time installing CyanogenMod 9 to your Htc Explorer/Pico, or coming from another ROM:
- Make sure you're running a proper working ClockworkMod-Recovery
- Copy GApps and CM9 ZIPs to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash CM9 zip from SDCard
- Flash GApps zip from SDCard
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your device will be stuck at boot)
- Reboot
- Don't restore data using Titanium Backup! they might cause FC's
- Restoring Apps + Data might cause problems and is not recommended, avoid it if possible!
Upgrading from earlier version of CyanogenMod 9:
- Copy CM9 ZIP to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash CM9 zip from SDCard
- Reboot

Cyanogen Mod 9 uses it's own custom launcher called "Trebuchet"
Its based on the Android 4.x aosp launcher with additions by the Cyanogen Mod Team and the android community
Nice work.
Now all we need is a nice tutorial for both CM7 and CM9.

Say, for example, you've got Apps backed up from your previous ROM. Of course it's going to cause problems. Happened with me on even my Nexus.
Edit : I am guessing the DATA backup is what causes the problems. Has the OP tried backing up only the app and not the data?
I think backups of games should work.. Thats what I want restored because they have HUGE sd data (hd games). Apps dont really matter as I didn't have many and they have a small size.
Does the problem occur because of change from GB to ICS? Compatibility Probs?
here is a detailed tutorial for cm7..will be uploading screenshots and mediafire links soon

How to use mass storage?
when i conncet explorer to my pc,it doesn't detect my sd card.what should i do?
i tried the MTP option but nothing is happening.
Also,i am not complaining but WIFI is very important....in my case more important than network.
i don't call much,so please wifi is the no 1 need now and he mass storage.
Also forgot,the audio sound is very low.
Anyway VERY VERY GOOD WORK TO Sakindia123 and all others
It's so smooth man

What?! I downloaded the first release... 5 mins later, I downloaded build 5 and almost an hour or two later, A new version? Do you think you could make a zip that only fixes these issues. Will save those who already have the ROM installed to download another 100mb.
Thanks for the quick fixes, btw.
Keep it up. :good:

That's what I posted in the CM7.2 thread XD :
"Can the devs please tell me how to make wifi to work in CM9? I mean, I am good with programming and adding modules and I have a lot of spare time so I can probably help. Any leads where to start? Is it the kernel?"
Okay so wifi is working? Finally. Wifi is important so at least I can work on further tweaks Can you upload that tonight because I'll be off to university tomorrow and I will only have access to my phone so Wifi is important haha!

i have uploaded the first build which is really a port... i wil start from today or tomorrow and our main source to fix these issues are taking resources from the Base of SII Plus mainly the Samsung Base Rom... as i have seen on many threads that sometimes fixtures can be applied from the base but if not then we will be uploading our work and resources on the OP if we have to take it from other Resources!
Great.. I'll wait for the stable version...

Dont worry i got the alot... The issues of vibrating i have one more idea regarding libhardware...
New tests
New testing build....
The tee folder will be replaced to check if NFC starts working
Libhardware.so will be replaced with the one from our base rom
Some overall adjustments to see issues with RIL
Btw if you all notice any more issues in the given build lemme know the issues you find.....
Edit: the difference btw the two builds on OP are that both have different DPI's thats it....
allright i tested on i9105 non nfc version-
-able to boot
-can run ussd code
-messaging work
-camera work
-v.cam work
-ril/calling not working
-vibration still not working
-performance control apps not working
no offence, but this ROM is far too buggy
without vibration and NFC is always my final limitation

i know these issues are far to be fixed but people shouldnt give up hope.. My S Advance had the sickest Novathor Chipset althought powerful with Mali400 but lack of resources so CM10 nor CM10.1 were possible but we finally now have so many running roms and even 4.2.2 is possible now...
Edit: Tried the new Build with some changed files here n there.... bootlooped... trying another new build now hopefully that wouldnt brick the phone!... Fingers Crossed X
And dont forget that some good work take time. And the s2+ Forum is still new here on xda. So it is clear that the very good stuff and a stable Rom isn't ready right now.

PAC-man ROM is a combination of the three Super ROMs Available
Paranoid Android + AOKP + Cyanogenmod = PAC-man
This ROM packs all the tweaks from the three super ROMs into one.
Why choose among ROMs, When you have All-in-One !!
Code:
* All in One Rom [PA, AOKP and CM]
* PhoneUI, TabletUI, PhabletUI
* Latest Version Nightly Builds
* All Feautures from PA
* Some Features from AOKP
* All Features from CM
* Parts from Slim Bean
* Parts from Rootbox
* Parts from Carbon
* Basically if there is a cool feature out there and its open source,
then we will try to bring that feature into PAC-man
(insert PAC-man eating a pellet sound here)
* Of course JellyBean 4.3
Code:
* CM's bugs
* Submit a bug
Code:
* Download the PAC-man ROM and GApps
* Reboot to Recovery
* Make Factory Reset
* Flash the ROM & GApps
* Reboot your phone
* And enjoy the latest version of PAC
Code:

I had flashed gapps but the problem still exists
Everything is working !!!
Have trouble in using this ROM ?
Yes, that is due to Gapps (the one posted by OP is not working properly and .... users are complaining for that !!!)
This Gapps will work coz it's working for me (download it..)

::Not my work::

About my experience on this PAC Man ROM
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Battery is charging super fastly (and draining normally) (far better than the ROMs which takes 4hours for charging and discharging at the same rate)
2. Lots of customization available.
3. It's a good experience to have a ROM which can be crafted to any UI modes i.e. TABLET, PHABLET, PHONE
4. int2ext+ working
5. Super Slim.... 12MB still remaining in /system even after flashing the above prescribed Gapps and ODEXING the whole ROM (frameworks and apps).
6. Full of animations...(unbelievable) (good, but I would recommend using Seeder)
::BUGS (Blame Tyler for that)::
SYSTEM Settings > Storage (crashes)
Camera app (crashes) (3rd party camera apps works)
PAC-MAN Settings > Init.d (crashes)
(I would also recommend to use another launcher)

How about performance compared to cm10.2 w9? Is it better?
^^^ @Blaze Forth
UI seems to be lagging but not surely, because pico's little processor have to do more power work for showing animations + delay due to that animations affects psychologically that ROM is slow (but is not) (use GPU acceleration + seeder for that, you won't get any difference).:highfive:

Description
Vanilla RootBox is built straight from RootBox sources and always carries a very light installation with no extra/useless apps. This means, you can enjoy a pure Android experience combined with AOKP/CM features and some CM cherry-picks. Keep in mind Jelly Bean is only at the beginning stage of development and there will be minor bugs. Every RootBox releases are stable and always up to the challenge for a daily usage. I personally have a high standard when it comes to releases and this is why this project always meets the expectations of users. If you're wondering how this ROM differs from any other AOKP roms out there, I only have one thing to say: Try it yourself and choose the one that meets your requirements.

I'm aware that Wifi-tethering has been missing on most of my Slim and AOKP-based ports, but a while back someone confirmed that it works on CM10.1.3-based roms (like ReVolt and BeanStalk 4.2.2). So I took a look inside the CM11 Wifi tether fix and here's the list of files you need to replace from the system/bin folder of CM10.1.3: hostapd, netd and wpa_supplicant.
I can't actually test if it works because I don't use data services, but if you do and it doesn't work and/or causes loss of data then I guess it can't be helped. Good luck either way!

Eager to try it. Are there any plans to implement F2FS support?
Like every build by yours
Your build always awsome, hope this more and more...
will try and report soon.
My report:
Same problem...
- auto rotate bug and sound bug (after device deep sleep )
temp way to fix this,
Reboot device > when finished booting, just rotate your device and open lock screen...
magically device will have sound again.
(the point is sound will working again after device rotating - is this mean auto rotate and sound bug are linked probem???)
NOW, about gapps...
i created gapps that fully working on every marshmallow...
it based on PURE NANO OPENGAPPS and PURE "pulled" NEXUS 7 2013 SYSTEM PARTITION.
so, it clean and pure gapps for grouper.

@GtrCraft: Perhaps it would be a good idea to list which GApps will work with this ROM in the OP. A lot of people have asked this question from other Marshmallow threads.
I can confirm that Banks Gapps work with this ROM. Here is link: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=41020

First of all great ROM but... I miss NFC ?
keep calm and have a Nexus
Is anyone else having problems installing Google Play Games? I am fairly certain it installed the first time, but then I had to reflash the ROM after a bork on my part (full wiped in between) and it doesn't install anymore. Tried Banks's Dynamic GApps, benzo GApps and 1 other on 3 separate installations.
EDIT: Happens even when setting up as a new device.
Either I'm missing something or this is just not meant to be.
EDIT2: Works fine on the Pure AOSP Marshmallow build posted by vocoderism. Very odd...
Is there a built in interface for applying layers? also i could not find the settings for clock as listed in OP under minimal tweaks, but i admittedly flashed late last night just to fiddle around. I didnt root and installed bitsyko layers manager, but without root it was no go (should have researched more). either way, is there a built in manager or is bitsyko the way to go?
