I want to order my accessories for the SGS4 (SGH-M919) when it comes out for T-Mobile on May 1st.
The only accessories I found on ebay and amazon specify the i9500 SGS4. Will the international versions and the U.S. be dimensionally and configurably identical? Usually Samsung makes minor alterations to the U.S. carrier version (such as changing buttons around and dimensions).

Well I figure I'd check in over here since I picked up a new/used Note 3. Bought it off a guy on craigslist for $400, original box and a new Otter Box Defender. Still have my S4 but I figure for the price I'll give it a go. Don't plan on rooting it, I rooted my S4 and damn, I couldn't stay on the same rom for more than a few days.
Like the Otter Box but hate the belt clip, gotta have a belt clip holster so I picked up the one at Best Buy made by Seidio. I think BB calls it the Platinum series case, love that style for work but I think if I keep the Note I'll order the Seidio Dilex case with holster. Also ordered the Nillkin 9H Hardness Tempered Glass Front Screen Protector, should be here on Thursday.
Now off to You Tube for some video training on this S-Pen.
I was like that on my HTC One, once I rooted I changed ROM's daily, still kinda am currently on the Note also haha
What version did you pick up? - 400 isn't a bad price either

Yup, there's (to name a few) N900A(snapdragon) N900T(snapdragon) N900V(snapdragon) N900 (exynos) N9005(snapdragon) N9002(dual sim) and some other variants, The difference being the CPU and LTE connectivity, also the main one N9005 (international version) Doesn't have ATT/Verizon LTE bands etc they don't always play nice if bought from one network and you want to work on another network

I have a N900P
I'm having a lot of trouble trying to find a source of genuine batteries in the UK (other than expensive Samsung Corporate!).
Ebay is a minefield, and Amazon doesn't even sell them - it only "fulfils" them on behalf of 3rd parties (it means the 3rd party has their own stock in the Amazon packing facility).
Having gone the Amazon-fulfilled route I got a decent-looking battery but which performed badly and had no NFC. On peeling the label off it was obviously shonky.
Has anyone had success and verified it was genuine (as far as you can anyway - there are various youtubes and blogs on the matter)?
The zerolemon/mugen alternatives look as if they fail badly after 6 - 9 months so I'm not considering them.
Hi everyone
Does anyone have a clue what is happening with S5 accessories? Everywhere I look in Europe at reputed retailers (Amazon DE / UK) all official S5 accessories (wireless cover, wireless kit, S-View Wireless cover, Extended Battery) are out of stock with no restocking date.
It looks like Samsung is phasing out all accessories for S5. This is quite weird, since I see official accessories being available for S3 / S4 even today.
Yep. Same deal in Australia. Plenty of stuff for the S4 nothing for the S5
Just got myself a S5 recently, but without wireless charging.
This is pretty annoying that they discontinued the original accessories after only 1 generation...
Sent from my SM-G900F using XDA Free mobile app
You need to check ebay, as there are loads of official on there inc austrailia
Yeah I had hard time finding a original battery without buying from Internet it really sucks how samsung wants us to be like apple users.
i thing s5 has been abandoned because it was not successful. s4 is still good and s6 is more better. however in my home vietnam its accessories are still available but of course not many left. if you have friends in vn contact them for a shipping
Hello, I have the 935F from the UK, I am currently in China for a few months. When changing the brightness up and down, four lines/bars appear on my screen which then grow larger or smaller based on my brightness setting. A handful of others have experienced the same problem too with the S7 Edge (not the standard).
Samsung said I can take it to a service center or send it to them in the UK and they will repair/replace the screen free of charge, but as I'm currently in China, I don't want to be without a phone for a few weeks. I asked the Samsung service center here and they said the screen is different, please can anyone confirm this is the case? I thought the screen was the same, but the internal radio components (frequencies used) differed slightly? I am happy to pay Samsung China the repair cost as it will be considerably easier than sending it back to the UK etc, but can anyone confirm the edge screen is identical?

It's not just the internal radios: the Chinese version is the only other version of the S7 Edge that uses a Snapdragon 820 other than the US variants. And there are more differences between the SM-G9350/U/A/P/T/V/... (SD) and SM-G935F (Exynos) than we might know, and Samsung certainly understands quite a lot about their own product, so I'd advise you listen. (for example of small differences between the two that impacts other parts of the phone) the SD820 variant lacks a separate DAC and utilizes the 820's internal DAC, while the E8890 version has a Wolfson DAC.
Likely the difference is going to be the chipset (Snapdragon Vs Qualcom) however I cant say for sure if the internals are all in the same places for the S7 Edge Global Varients.
Might be worth posting in the S7 Edge forum to see if they are aware of anything?
Sorry I didn't realize there was an S7 Edge forum, could a moderator move this thread to there?
Good point, there are quite a lot of differences it seems.
Do you know if I bought a phone like the S7 Edge from Hong Kong, is it fully compatible in the UK? Would it be the 935F variant? I can't seem to find what variants are sold around the world and I know like America and China uses different frequencies for LTE, but saying that, I have the 935F and I'm picking up LTE fine in China.
Hi Folks I had to return mine (Oct 2019 model) due to a fault and samsung sent me a replacement pair but without the smooth silicon retainer bands (that go around the perimeter of the buds). Instead they provided 2 pairs of the same bands with the wings. I cannot use these.
If anyone has a pair they aren't using, please could I have them? I'm UK based!
Samsung are saying they don't supply these now .....!
thanks
