Hello!
I have a big problem with my Galaxy Tab 7.7. I got my Galaxy Tab 7.7 (P6800) rooted yesterday (worked very well) and then I have made a backup with ClockworkMod. This worked well too. Then I wanted to test the backup and I tried to restore the Tab. Unfortunately, during the restoring process the tab crashed (black screen), although there was still enough battery available. Since then the tab is dead. It can’t be turned on – I can’t get into the boot menu. When I plug in the charging cable nothing happens. My PC does not recognize anything when I connect it via USB.
For this reason, I wanted to ask if you think my tab can be saved (if so how?), or is it completely dead? What do you think?
Thank you very much in advance!
I am sure you already tried to keep it plugged in for minimum 15 minutes then hold power button for 15 secs? Or odin and kies? Did you wipe?
Sounds like bricked..

Hello...
I am having the following problem...
And yes I have looked all over before I decided to post this thread...
I was trying to flash a new rom on my Galaxy Tab 7 with Odin and somehow it got stuck.
Now all i get is the PC/Phone/Exclamation Icon. The icons only show up when the Tab is plugged into the wall. It will show the icon for about a minute and then it will go black. It's a continuing loop.
When I disconnect it from the wall charger to connect it to the PC to run Odin, the icon disappears and does not come back.
I have read on the forums of people that have disconnected the battery on other devices and that fixes the problem, so I opened up my Galaxy Tab 7 and did the same. That did not work.
I cannot get the Tab into Download Mode whatsoever to be able to use Odin or Heimdall. I even downloaded the One-Click Unbrick Java Software but that won't recognize it either
Can anyone help me???
Just shooting in the dark here cause i dont have a galaxy tab but this is the method i used for my galaxy s wgen i had a similar issue... Make sure the device is off and battery is out. Open odin then plug device in while holding both volume buttons down and then putting the battery back in. Hope this helps. Good luck
Know 50...
I tried that already and that doesn't work either.
I may have a nice big paperweight now!!!
LOL!!!
Well I put the Galaxy Tab to charge for about an hour and then after I hooked it up to the computer, it was recognized by Odin.
I was able to flash the stock rom back to it successfully, but after it finished the Tab is now off and won't come back on.
I guess I'll charge it for a few more hours and see what happens...
I have an extreme problem with my Nexus. I've been through thick and thin with this phone, and I'm hoping you guys will help with a solution to this problem.
The power button to my Nexus is broken completely. I stabbed it so much that the clicking black part is completely removed from the slot (on the motherboard).
One time, my Nexus S died, and I realized I had no way to turn it back on. I tried every single method (battery pulling, button pressing, USB connecting, etc) with no answer. I finally was able to find a solution. I used Odin to restore the bootloader tar md5 file, and thus auto rebooting the nexus (when the box is checked). This worked like a charm, until I realize I made a fatal mistake.
I chose an md5 file for the ORIGINAL Nexus S (not 4g).
I was able to easily go into recovery with Quick Boot from the Play Store. I installed Raspbean Jellybean (02-05-13 build), but the installation was very faulty. The home button is nonfunctional (it vibrates when pressed, but nothing happens) and Browser is not working as it just closes itself instantly. Like an idiot, I didn't install Gapps before rebooting into the ROM.
Stuck in that dilemma, I used the built in email app to sync my Gmail account to the phone. I sent a Quick Boot APK to myself to try and open so I could reach recovery, but it said there's no type of program that can open that file (maybe because Gapps isn't installed).
The last thing I tried was Odin again. I tried to restore the ICS release keys, but Odin will not recognize my phone anymore for nothing. I tried 3 different USBs (2 with shorts, and 1 normal one. I don't know if the type of USB has anything to do with it). Nothing.
So here I am with a faulty, Gappless ROM on my Nexus S 4G with a completely broken power.
I'm wondering if you guys have any solution/suggestion to get Odin to recognize my phone again so I can restore it and work from there.
Apart from that, ANY solution to this problem is highly acceptable and greatly appreciated (ways to get into recovery, etc). I don't want this to be the last of me and my sweet ole Nexus =(,
Thanks x1000 XDA!
Hey Guys. I was actually able to reach recovery, because the ROM I'm using has a Power Menu widget in it's quick settings (Go Figure). But my phone is still unable to be recognized by Odin in Download mode. The phone is also not recognized by my pc at all. It only charges, no matter what USB I try. I even tried mounting in recovery, no go.
Please help. Thanks!
Today, I finally managed to fix my Galaxy S GT-i9000 after bricking it last week. When it was restored I got android 2.2 and before this I had 2.3.6.
I restored it using Unbrickable resurruractor
And Heimdall One click
I restored to AT&T world phone firmware while I used to have the stock european dutch firmware
I'd like to address some issues I have with it. I have no doubt some of them are just some stupidities of android 2.2, but i'd still like them to be resolved as quikly as posible.
Tomorrow I wil try to update to 2.3.6
In the meantime i hope that somebody could help me with these issues.
Here's the list:
1.Sound isn't working. This includes games, music, ringtones, keypresses .ect (this one really irritates me)
2.I can't connect via USB. Whenever I insert the USB cable into my phone, it connects, to the PC for 2 Seconds, then shuts off and does nothing until I take
The USB cable out. I wanted to Get my original firmware back using Odin, but because of it, I can't do this.
And because of this i also can't recharge my phone
3. The back button (arrow on the right) functions as the home button (Black/White middle button) and the home button does nothing
4. The accelorometer is off, I tried recalibrating it, but that doesn't help.
5 I can't acces the recovery menu or download mode in any way
I hope that somebody can answer my questions or post a solution to my problem.
But because my phone doesn't charge it's just a race against the clock. I don't have acces to another Galaxy S so i can't use another battery.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 which is in fact a GT-i9000
Re: It's driving me crazy!!!
Bump!
First time poster, I apologize if this post is a mess.
I recently dropped my Droid Charge down a flight of stairs. The phone itself still seems to work - I can boot it up, it plays all the proper sounds, and my 7pm alarm even went off today (hadn't had it on to test that before), but the screen is completely dead.
I've already upgraded to a Galaxy Note 3. I had a backup with SMS Backup & Restore from April; same for my Checkbook app - these are the two apps I'm most concerned about. I'd like to get the additional data since April 22.
My Charge is rooted, though I got a lot of walkthrough to do it - I also did the root over two years ago.
I have these links in the chatlog with the friend who helped me root, if that helps at all:

Problem: USB debugging was turned off when I dropped the phone. I didn't know any better until I'd already broken the screen. I've tried MoboRobo, MyPhoneExplorer, and Samsung Kies, and nobody sees the phone. It beeps when plugged in, and with Kies the hard keys light up about ten-twenty seconds later, but that's the furthest I've gotten.
I'm willing to boot to recovery and use adb/command prompt/whatever, but I can only find these instructions for other phones, and I'm worried that if I use the wrong phone's menu instructions I'll end up wiping it instead of booting to recovery. I'm also not too clear on if ADB is a different build for different phones... this is my first time doing this.
I don't have a mini-HDMI cable but if that's the better solution I'll get my hands on one.
Any help is appreciated, thank you!
Today, with my Samsung Tab A, I have accidentally gotten my tab on bootloop. Although I was expecting it soon, as it is rooted, and I've been doing some crazy operations. Unfortunately, the device does not turn off, but if I do a reset, by pressing all of the buttons, it restarts the device and continues the bootloop. I try to put it in recover mode and safety mode, but after pressing the correct buttons, nothing happens, as it does not turn off. It does not connect to a laptop, or any other means. It is so awkward as well, as I had 100% charge.
Is there anyway how I can recover my device? Or should I just take it to a shop to try to get it fixed. Or just end up buying another device - which is my last resort.
Thank you for reading, any response is very appreciated.

Greetings and welcome to xda, if you can't get it to connect to the pc then I don't know of any other way to rescue it. If factory reset doesn't work and you cant connect to the pc to use odin or kies/smart switch then I think you will need to take it to a service centre
Good Luck
