I know adobe ended flash support for anything higher than ICS and I found a thread saying it was still possible to get flash to work on jb but I can't figure it out. Is this possible?

I've had flash player working on 4.2.2

Just use the site search function, and search for "flash player jellybean" and you will find step-by-step instructions. Or just Google it.
All you really need is the apk, and it install just fine. You just can't get it on the Play Market or from Adobe anymore.
CleanROM 6 r2 has flash built into the default web browser... That's what I use.

Also when you have flash player installed, you will need another browser. I use Boat browser, which can be found on the play store for free. Just make sure to enable flash in the settings. This is the one tbat works well for me.

You can download the apk from Adobe too I believe. I think it was under legacy or developer downloads, something like that.

Or just Google adobe ICS flash apk. That is what I did. Its still on my SD card, but cant upload from app.

Has anyone had trouble with Adobe flash on clean rom? I've confirmed that it was working before I flashed the rom. I've tried wiping the device and reinstalling flash. When I go to the adobe website it recognizes that I have flash. But sites like phonedog don't load the flash banners and animecrazy won't play videos. Can anyone help out with this?
Thanks

No issues did you install it from the market?

what browser are you using? Chrome beta doesn't support flash.

I did install it from the market and I've tried it using the stock browser and dolphin hd.
Browser menu----> enable flash player
I made sure to do that as well
Does anybody know why the Chrome Browser isn't compatible with our phone. I am on CM7, could that possibly be why it isn't?

Yes Chrome is ICS compatible and cm7 is GB just flash cm9 and you'll be good

I'd recommend you don't use chrome. For me it was very laggy. The stock browser from cm9 is a lot better

Yea i downloaded it from the play store just a few days ago. There's no way to change the user agent too

I just uninstalled it.
It rebooted my phone 2 times because it froze loading a page. The stock browser is just fine.
That's funny, it's been really great for me. It's smoother and faster than the stock browser for me on AOKP. I never had a crash with it yet. The syncing feature with chrome on my desktop is also very convenient.

I used it on CM9, AKOP, and PA and well really was not all that impressed. It served OK as a browser but things like not being Flash compatible was it's undoing that lead me to uninstall it.

You know adobe is stopping support for mobile flash in august right?
I heard something about that, let's hope they change their minds. Because that would mean the end of Kongregat games and other mobile flash games.

Wait, I believe you can change the user agent. It's in the menu when you select "request desktop site"
It has no devoted "desktop" mode. you can select load desktop but only for that tab.

There is actually a version of chrome ported from Linux that runs smoothly on our phones. I will upload the link if you would like.

There is, for a mobile software vendor, no point in Flash anymore
http://blogs.adobe.com/conversations/2011/11/flash-focus.html
http://blogs.adobe.com/flashplayer/2012/06/flash-player-and-android-update.html
There will be no certified implementations of Flash Player for Android 4.1.
Beginning August 15th we will use the configuration settings in the Google Play Store to limit continued access to Flash Player updates to only those devices that have Flash Player already installed. Devices that do not have Flash Player already installed are increasingly likely to be incompatible with Flash Player and will no longer be able to install it from the Google Play Store after August 15th.

Wont show flash player in market.
Get looking for plugin notifications
Thanks

I don't know why it does that but I think Google has some issues with knowing who has what phone or operating system, for instance I can download Google Wallet from the market to my S3 even tho it won't work unless I do the work-around which I did.
Anyways, here's a link to get your Flash-Player outside of the market.

Did you restart? Make sure you have Desktop View enabled. Also what browser are you using?
I'm using Chrome. Yes I have desktop selected.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2
Try using Flash in the original browser. If it works there, then just clear cache and data of Chrome browser and try again. If that would fail as well maybe uninstall and reinstall?---- only do this tho if it works in the original browser first.

Chrome doesn't support flash. Use another browser.
Isn't flash built in to Chrome?
I will try suggestions

Use ics+ browser. Works great and make sure flash is up to date

Boat browser is another good one too.
Flash works in stock browser not in chrome.

Taboo or cool? Link?

You can still download it directly from Adobe. Link in the first post here.
It's not the latest version of flash cause Adobe doesn't develop it for android anymore, and it only works in the stock browser, but it gets the job done those few places where you need it.

Follow this guide Here.
If your device isn't supported by Adobe it's recommended you stay away from Flash since it's a RAM hog and slows down your browsing
I use to have it. It was downloaded from Google play and then one day it was gone.
