You can still download it directly from Adobe. Link in the first post here.
It's not the latest version of flash cause Adobe doesn't develop it for android anymore, and it only works in the stock browser, but it gets the job done those few places where you need it.

So for android 2.0 and above there was "Adobe Flash Player11" you could download and easily use from the google play store, but there no longer supporting above android 4.0. any other way to get flash player for the browser?

It's not really a huge deal. You can still install it, they're just not supporting it

it still doesnt work though cause i got paranoid android build 8 and its running android 4.0.4 so kinda is somewhat of a problem...
Flash even on gb can be buggy, so in a unofficial ics expect it to be worse.
Just go back to gb if it's a huge problem

Flash technically was not released on jellybean. You can install it using the apk. It only works on browsers that support plugins like default and dolphin. Not chrome.

Flash also works in Firefox Beta Browser for Jellybean. I am using Flash on my Xoom (Wifi) with the TeamEOS nightly build 153 and it works fine although the video quality is less in FireFox vs Default Browser.
I know adobe ended flash support for anything higher than ICS and I found a thread saying it was still possible to get flash to work on jb but I can't figure it out. Is this possible?

Just use the site search function, and search for "flash player jellybean" and you will find step-by-step instructions. Or just Google it.
All you really need is the apk, and it install just fine. You just can't get it on the Play Market or from Adobe anymore.
CleanROM 6 r2 has flash built into the default web browser... That's what I use.

Also when you have flash player installed, you will need another browser. I use Boat browser, which can be found on the play store for free. Just make sure to enable flash in the settings. This is the one tbat works well for me.

You can download the apk from Adobe too I believe. I think it was under legacy or developer downloads, something like that.

I checked the Samsung galaxy s blaze 4G "bible" and it had a flash player download link but it appears to be broken... I later found another link, downloaded the apk, and installed it. it doesn't work ... Now I've heard that flash is no longer supported but will work with jelly bean? Is this true?

From what I've read flash is no longer being developed but there are players available. Check http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1774336

Follow this guide Here.
If your device isn't supported by Adobe it's recommended you stay away from Flash since it's a RAM hog and slows down your browsing
I use to have it. It was downloaded from Google play and then one day it was gone.
