There are quite a few apps out there that can turn the tablet into an IR remote control, but all apps I tried so far want to do very 'smart' things with channels and programs and so on. I just want a remote control that I can program myself. Does such an app exist?
Touchsquid! You'll prolly have to Google it tho
Try this it is a paid app but it sounds like it's exactly what you're after, I haven't tried it however just spotted it in play store

Looks nice, but it's a separate device. I'd want to use my tablet...

It is indeed a simple and seeming universal remote control. However, it is not programmable.
For example, when I want to play a video, I need the following commands:
* switch on TV
* switch on media player
* select input channel on TV
* menu controls go to the media player
* volume controls go to the TV

No worries thought you were just after a simple tvv remote, when you say media player your referring to a seperate machine aren't you like a ps3 for example not your tablet
Yes. In reality the situation is even more complex because I also have a power switch that needs to be switched on first and takes a second to switch on the power to the tv and media player (and other equipment).

I use it on my Note 10.1 all the time
I tried to download Peel Europe, but instead of a download link you must register with AppsZoom and get an email with a download link. This link redirects to Play Store, but the app has been removed from the Play Store.
Did anyone manage to download Peel Europe? Where can I find it?

You can not ask for a link of a paid apk here.
Smart IR Remote - Samsung/HTC works great (search in market, can't post a link). It's a paid app, but it's worth it.
Touchsquid is best. You define profiles for activities and even program macros. Smart remote is nice too

If you just want a remote I recommend Smart IR Remote - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.remotefairy

There is GameBoy Color emulator for Gear S2 and Gear S3 on Samsung Apps store
called Gear GemBoy. It works with ROM files with extension GB and GBC. I already
tested it with a few games. So far works great and very fast.
Does it work for iPhone user?

Yes, that is true in case transfer by companion app for Android. Filesmaster can use also trasfer by Bluetooth standard.
I used Bluetooth plugin for Windows to transfer files from my computer to my Gear. On filesmaster home page is that
good explained http://slandmedia.com/apps/gear/Filesmaster/#aFiletransfer
I use Filesmaster app to manage and transfer ROM files, especially now, they added also emulator for Gameboy Advance and also for free.
Incredible!
It works pretty well, but the input is an issue. Does Tizen support Bluetooth input? It's best for RPG as it is.

Hi,
I want to pair my samsung gear 360 with gear s3 frontier, does anyone know any app or solution? Theme is an app to remotely control only gopro....
I would also like to know if there is an app to link Gear 360 to Gear S3.
Exactly!
Same boat - there should be a remote available to install on Gear S3
I had published a remote controller app for Ricoh's Theta S camera (360 camera from Ricoh)
When I purchased the new Gear 360, I wanted to write an app for it as well. But it does not have the support for OSC aPI.
I don't know why.
First gen. Gear 360 has this API support...

I wonder if the app for the 2016 would pair with the 2017?
I'd be willing to try it, where can I find the app?
Was there any luck with finding that app?
I had created the app for this purpose. Just forgot to inform here.

Hi guys I bought gear s3 for a while but I couldn't find Spotify app on the store how can I install it?
It's in the gear app store. Also I think you have to be in a country that supports Spotify too.

yup you can install it, all you need to do is install a free vpn client from the play store, remove the sim card from your phone and clear the app data for the gear app store and start the vpn and select america and then start the gear app store you should be able to search and install spotify.
Hi there,
I've seen there is a camera remote app preinstalled on the watch if you use a Samsung phone. But when using my OnePlus 7t pro the app isn't there.
My old Oppo watch had a remote shutter using a android wear app from Google but I can't find it. Google camera from the Playstore doesn't work.
