It's all quite easy, theres a few things you can try:
- Bin4ry's root method (might still work on current Xperia E and E Dual firmwares)
- UnlockRoot tool
or
- Flashing the "insecure kernel" and root using DoomLord's rooting method. This last method will Definitely void your warranty as you need to unlock your bootloader for this.
I'm pretty sure atleast one of the first two options will work.
Although, I don't own a Xperia E or E Dual.

Dude....I bought this phone after making money very hard...I won't be.able to buy even a Nokia 3310 If I brick it.I'm a newbie to android world n saw that rooting n flashin can sometimes brick phone...I dont wanna risk ma mobile.so r u sure its gonna work....

Either one of the first 2 will probably work. + they're fairly safe. You won't brick your phone if you follow the instructions correctly.
I do not recommend to use the 3rd method.
If those 2 do not work, have patience, like I said in your other thread, it's quite a new phone.
Development will come. Don't worry about that!
EDIT: UnlockRoot tool (2nd method) confirmed to work with Xperia E Dual:

So, use that one, it's safe and it works
Bro I searched n found that bin4ry method doesn't unlock bootloader and warranty is applicable..I am gonna study about both n do something ASAP .I'm fed up with internal memory prob n bloatware.....

Plz help me, I'm planning to root with bin4ry root tool.but when I researched about it I saw that in CMD there is an option to select the type of rooting,ie..1,2,3. I don't know which one to select for my xperia E dual.plz if someone clearly knows about this plz plz.plz help me. I don't wanna brick my phone.....Urgent need help ASAP....

The best, easy and safe method to root is using frama root.install the app on phone n within a minute you can root your phone.
P. S It's for the newbies who don't know how to root their xperia c1604 yet

Those apps you install on your phone to root like Universal Androot stopped working for devices 2.3 and above, also they contain malware so beware
The safest way to root is unlock bootloader, get recovery,flash superuser...

1. Have patience, the E Dual is quite a new phone.
2. Try using the 'search' option. If I'm correct there have already been reports about some tools which will or will not work for the Xperia E (Dual).

You can root your phone using this method.
Finally rooted my Xperia E dual.thanks to dragoboss for helping me a lot.I used unlockroot tool(not unlock phone).just installed pc companion and the unlockroot tool(available in the forum or from unlockroot's website).connected my mobile with USB debugging on,clicked on root.voila it recognized my device and started rooting.in less than one minute,my phone was rooted......totally safe.follow the simple instructions and u r a superuser............easier than installing a game.The main advantage of this method is that it doesn't unlock bootloader and hence u r safe..........nothing to worry about..once again I thank dragoboss..

I have unlocked my e (dual) bootloader with androxyde flashtool( by clicking on BLU button and following on screen instructions) and flashtool shows bootloader unlock succesful ( something like that) but when i try to install any custom kernel , flashtool gives an Error: remote device must be rooted . Its very annoying . Plzzz tell me
1. How to check that my e 's bootloader is really unlocked or not
2. If not how to easily unlock bootloader

Ehi, try to write on the telephone numpad *#*#7378423#*#*
Open service info > configuration > rooting status and look the bootloader status

Bro I first tried Sony's method (using command prompt).it showed success but got bootloop.I just used flashtool again..it worked..
And btw the option in service menu just tells you it is allowed.which means that it is not unlocked..when unlocked it will tell

I have again relocked and unlocked the bootloader but after and before unlock, service menu showed the same things that is

Bro, i don't have this device and i unlocked my bootloader with sony official guide!
for install the sdk you must download it from the android development site and install it via SDK setup

sdk manager install was just a one click process if i remember correctly!!...just double click the .exe and take note of the install location...
install eclipse before the first run..
I have inastalled eclipse and followed all the steps correctly but when I complete the last step ( the step with bootloader key) the cmd unexpectidly stops showing me 2 options that are check online for solution and close the program ( I have already installed usb drivers)
Plzzzzz help

seriously...i've never heard of this problem before...cmd force closing...
welll...i dont think its the problem with sdk..cuz i used sony's meathod without sdk.......
just try to apply for the bootloader key once more.........and just check if they are the same.....could be some mistake when u typed imei....
and just try to unlock BL with a different version of flashtool.......btw..did you get a response back when u typed the first command in cmd?

On main cwm thread there is just one code given that is fastboot flash boot filename.elf and I m new to sony so I am not able to understand how to start installation plzz give step by step tutorial in easy language

Download superuser.zip...just Google it....flash it from recovery...
Just make a backup(nandroid backup)before you start playing with it...have fun...

Sorry buddy...my bootloader is unlocked and so I lost my DRM keys..so gracenote music info will not work...

on c1505 (single sim) it works perfect (rooted with locked bootloader)

I'm planning to port recovery for locked bootloaders by the next month... I need guys to help me...

Dude... it's exactly the same for every Xperia phone... Just follow the steps given on Sony's website! As fonetalker101 said, it's very easy. No special step for Tipo only, or something like that! Just a piece of cake.
Or just try flashtool
And as they said, the steps are same for every xperia..

Hello, I am new to Sony and Samsung come see that changing here is more complicated software, cell ny is a J-ST26A Xperia-rom and version is the 11.2.a.0.31 and I want to root the phone, tutorials I have seen that they are very long and complicated (change the kernel, use flashtool, remove the battery). I found a much easier method is to DooMLoRD easy root toolkit in which the last version added support for this phone. The forum said it was compatible with the ST26A st26i (I have the ST26A) and was consistent with the version 11.2.a.0.31 and 11.2.a.0.21 (mine is .31). What I wanted to ask is if someone rooted a mobile with the same characteristics as mine (ST26A-11.2.a.0.31), and let me know if it works and no signal loss problems as bricks or something, it would be helpful I answered that I really want to be root thanks. DEVICE: ST26A ROM: 11.2.A.0.31 (JELLY BEAN) BOOTLOADER: Locked

You can repair with PC Companion of Flashtool. But it won't brick if you follow the steps.
