[APP] Patched Facebook home.apk to work on any device - Galaxy Note 10.1 Themes and Apps

They succeeded to patch the new F.B home to work on any device just download the 3 .apks from the following links and install them as usual, It should work with no problems

Another way that requires root is changing your build prob with a root file explorer to this supported device Galaxy Note 2
ro.product.model=GT-N7100
ro.product.brand=samsung
ro.product.name=t03gxxro.product.device=t03g
ro.product.manufacturer=samsung
ro.com.google.clientidbase=android-samsung
Once you changed the build.prob you can download and update f.b home from market
If you cant find it in the market download it from here http://db.tt/C2JEssSY

Confirmed: Netflix App Working on X10

The Netflix app has been released onto the Android Market. However, it is limited to a few devices and the X10 isn't one of them.
BUT...I downloaded the apk from the site below to test it out and voila! Working NETFLIX!
http://www.androidpolice.com/2011/0...-android-market-but-only-for-certain-devices/
Or
Directly to the download link:
http://www.multiupload.com/NPZ062QIZB
Have fun everyone.
Edit: I'm on WB's CM 6.1.3
Awesome it does work!! Thanks
Once I have more thanks left I'll click for you lol
Awesome thanks. Market wouldn't let me Dl cause I'm Canada. Said it wasn't available for my country.
Works like a charm though!

How to trick Netflix into thinking your device is supported (Only do this if the Netflix app says that your device is not supported, otherwise it is not necessary.) :
1. Open any Root file explorer and navigate to /system
2. Edit your build.prop file and modify the following lines:
ro.product.model=""
You may input any one of the supported devices, i.e, the HTC G2: ro.product.model=HTC Vision
Note: This does require that your device is rooted and running 2.2 Froyo or above.
3. Reboot your phone
4. Download the .apk (If you're running jerpelea's CM7 ROM, then it should be directly available from the Android Marketplace. )
Works for me! Using Wolbreak's 6.1.3 v6
Sent from my X10i using XDA Premium App
Anyone elses Netflix stop working on froyo? Says new version Available then tries to link to market where it comes up not available.
Works fine on mine. It's available for download on the market, and for me anyway...
Sent from my X10 TripNMiUI-IRIS using XDA Premium App
If you're running GB the link will come up directly in the market.
For those of us who are having issues. I found this link to the updated app in another thread.
http://dc341.4shared.com/download/_lpe355u/Netflix_121_build_843839-120-3.apk
Works fine on Wolf's 8.1 ROM (bb 55).
I'm almost afraid to update the app, it works great.
HS this is awesome..!!
Using market version, but says my device must be updated , WB V5, tried already the HTC Vision fix, but didn't work.
The error is displayed when trying to instant watch.

On root explorer long press on the build.prop, and a pop up menu will pop up.
choose the option open in text editor.
after you find the line and edit it press the menu key and choose save and exit.
Netflix should work on all Androids now with 2.2+. I've installed it on both Wolf's latest and the TEAM rom as well.
I just downloaded the application and it works fine ... although I can't update. Not available for my country.... in Android Market.
I'm using 2.3.3 stock rom
For me it says its not Available in my Country. Any other Canadians having this issue. It's works perfectly fine, I just have to keep finding the updated APK from other sources.

Modern Combat 3 wont work on our phones ?

i bought modern combat 3 and i am unable to play it . it says that this game is not compatiable with your device request a refund .Btw i am using quikwiz 1.0.3 rom i have tryed using chanfire 3d to see if maybe a different open gl driver would make it work but i get the same error anyone else having this issue ?
Yes, I'm running my skyrocket Stock ROM and am having the same issue.
Runs fine on mine. Im running Beastmod though from the Tmobile thread. Maybe thats the difference. Actually runs super smooth (not trying to rub it in just pointing it out)

So lets get started:
- Install the Chainfire3D from Android Market.
- Download http://www.mediafire.com/?2mh6uarwv1o9u5f
- Extract the archive and copy the libGLEMU_NVIDIA.zip to the root of your device SDcard.
- Now launch the Chainfire3D application and select CF3D driver > Install. After the installation your device will reboot.
- After coming back to the OS re-launch the application and select Install Plugin. Now the app will scan your SDcard for the plugins. After scanning select the libGLEMU_NVIDIA.
- Now select Default OpenGL settings > Use plugin > NVIDIA to add support for Tegra Zone games on your unsupported device.
- Finally select the “Fix Market settings” option from the main menu, it will allow you to download the Tegra Zone games on your unsupported device to play.
- Now install your favorite Tegra Zone game and have fun!

if you read my first post this method dose not work the only thing that i found to work was using beastmod 4.1 that worked flawlessly now i can play the game. thanks garu12
Except for my device name and location (Canada), my .buildprop is identical to yours. I have even added lines (that when are absent are automatic no) just to confirm system isnt doing something funny. Chainfire with every different setting and every available driver does nothing. (I'm not sure Chainfire even works with this 3rd gen qualcomm cpu). Seems the popup comes at the very same time it checks for wifi update/data download. Seems like the phone is telling Gameloft something it doesnt want to hear, question is, what could that be?
It definitely works with our chip.. Someone should really email gameloft

I emailed them about this a few days ago and never heard from them so I called them and talked to two different people there that indicated that if and only if it becomes a supported game on the T989 it's still going to be a couple months. I also have a Galaxy Tab 10.1 that I have not been able to DL a single Gameloft game with. There is not 1 single Gameloft game I was interested in that shows its compatible to DL through Gamelofts website and on the market. This being said I will never purchase another Gameloft game again time to hop on Vuze and download some hacked Gameloft APK's. F U Gameloft!

I can vouch for the fact that this will run on skyrocket. If I were really, really looking to get this game...
I would probably just Google search the exact name of the game with the words "downloadable android apk " and I'm willing to bet 1 could get it running perfectly on skyrocket...just saying
What are the rules about posting a .apk? (one that is "not compatible")

Its under /system you have to be rooted and permissions need to be set with cwm as well as you need root explorer to navigate to the required directory.

I edited the build.prop file and it still says its not supported.. Am I supposed to make a NEW build.prop with ONLY that information in it, or should I be(like I already have), editing those specific lines in the file?

I take it that you are talking about this app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xiam.snapdragon.app&hl=en
which seems to be available only for North America and Europe (EU). By porting, did you mean that you have made it available for devices outside of these regions? Or what exactly did you port? This does not seem to be device specific (aside from the obvious need for the device(s) in question to have a Qualcomm processor).
It is available in Google Play store too!

works...
No need of modded market. Just change in device name does the trick

[mods][apps]Cant download apps? This version is not compatible for your device?

For those who want to download your favorite apps, but the playstore says this version is not compatible for your device? Here's a simple solution..
*First your android Device must be rooted,
*you will need root explorer or any file manager that has a root
*i recommend to take a buckup of your build.prop first before modding
-From root/system /build.prop
-Change your
ro.product.model=
ro.product.brand=
ro.product.name=
ro.product.device=
ro.product.manufacturer=
ro.com.google.clientidbase=android-google
To samsung galaxy note 2 build prop
*
ro.product.model=GT-N7100
ro.product.brand=Samsung
ro.product.name=t03gxx
ro.product.device=t03g
ro.product.manufacturer=Samsung
ro.com.google.clientidbase=android-Samsung
*Clear playstore data
*clear google play services
*Reboot device

Clear both play store and services reboot,
Or wipe cache ,dalvik cache
You can use any higher device's build.prop
Take backup first
Hope that helps.
