Installation Guide
Installation Guide:
Important Notes:
1) Make a Nandroid.
2) FULL WIPE is a must. USE TWRP Recovery.
3) Wipe cache, dalvik, system, reboot recovery, wipe cache again. CACHE must be cleaned. /cache is used for temp files during installation.
4) Flash the ROM after you make sure MD5 is correct after download.
It takes a little longer time to load because of lots of aroma pages and .prop files.
After flashing process is complete, reboot the device

Important Steps / Notes for ROM installation
1- Download the ROM, MAKE SURE check sum is matching
2- Make a Nandroid
3- ROM is no wipe version;
4- If you face issues, full wipe is recommended
5- If contact names don't appear in call log, remove your google account, reboot, sign in again, sync contacts
6- If you face issues with AROMA freezes, please note that this is a Aroma/Recovery issue, try again or try a different recovery from Assassin-Tools-Utilities
7- If you don't want to perform a full wipe through Aroma; you can still do full wipe through recovery, by wiping cache, dalvik, system; then choose no wipe option in Aroma. This is an alternatvie manual way of full wipe
8- Don't use Adam v1.4 Kernel and use other kernels instead. Adam kernel V1.4 has some minor issues. Since the ROM, Kitchen, and Tools are uploaded, we cannot now change the packaging and re-upload again. When wanam releases new update of Adam kernel, we will include it in the new release.

Tips to Save Battery Life
Some tips to save battery life (Thanks wanam):
1) Disable auto sync for accounts if you don't need them. Syncing kills!!
2) Disable GPS and enable it only when you want to use it.
3) Disable auto backup for Gmail account.
4) Set brightness level to automatic.
5) Disable motion if you don't use it from developer options in settings.
6) Check your apps settings and disable useless background sync
7) Use UV (under-volted) kernel. Undervolted means that your device will use relatively less battery to give the same CPU frequency
8) Try out different CPU Governor
9) Use autoStart app or Startup manager to disable un-needed app from automatic startup on boot. It will also make the startup time faster.
10) If you are facing battery juicing, use better battery stats app to find out what application preventing your phone from getting to deep sleep and find out the different types of wake locks.
11) Remove apps you don't use.
12) Enable "Power Saving Mode" from Settings
13) Use "Deep Sleep Batter Saver pro" app from the play store and set the mode to "aggressive"

Hmmm. Believe it or not, i never used your rom. I looked up your profile and just saw you have developed a rom for the note2. Aroma installer is open source. If it happened to be kind of matching your config, it doesnt mean we stole it. Even the updater script, from dev point of view it should correspond to aroma config.
This is a clean build of DMB5 firmware. Not stolen. However, if you feel offended, we dont mean to. Proper credits go to everyone on xda and to you. The dev of this rom has finished on march March 6 and it took us some time to test and upload.

Alot of the updater scripter is taken from my rom.
And your rom doesn't even need alot of this code.
for example, please tell me why you need these symlinks when you dont even have these files?

I am sorry to see that. But updater script extra codes you pointed out are true to be not needed but they have no effect on installation if the files referenced doesnt not exist. However, as i mentioned earlier. I am sure this is a clean build and since march 6. And if the kind of matches happen in anyway, they dont mean to be intentional.
To put an end to this debate, proper credits will be given to you in the op.
Besides, we are planning to expand the options for more and more. Thx again.

No this means that you copied his updater script and modified it to look like yours. This code isn't found in most of the roms. Yeah the content deeply matches from his rom. I really suspect that you guys have stolen it from his rom. Just kanged his rom. So I think more than credits are required. You modified his work without his permission. You should have posted this as a theme or a kang after asking from tamirda.

Aroma is open source. Our aroma options are more in quantity and quality. And yet we have plans for more to include like magical options, under testing as we speak. Aroma has the flexibilty to add mods, it doesnt mean we took it from you. So no need to be offensive here. I suggest you try our rom first, you might like it. And i dont mind taking some of my mods and tweaks since xda is open community. Your accusation is not accepted. However, we welcome you and anyone to try Assassin with best battery life ever made..

Tips to Save Battery Life
Some tips to save battery life (Thanks wanam):
1) Disable auto sync for accounts if you don't need them. Syncing kills!!
2) Disable GPS and enable it only when you want to use it.
3) Disable auto backup for Gmail account.
4) Set brightness level to automatic.
5) Disable motion if you don't use it from developer options in settings.
6) Check your apps settings and disable useless background sync
7) Use UV (under-volted) kernel. Undervolted means that your device will use relatively less battery to give the same CPU frequency
8) Try out different CPU Governor
9) Use autoStart app or Startup manager to disable un-needed app from automatic startup on boot. It will also make the startup time faster.
10) If you are facing battery juicing, use better battery stats app to find out what application preventing your phone from getting to deep sleep and find out the different types of wake locks.
11) Remove apps you don't use.
12) Enable "Power Saving Mode" from Settings
13) Use "Deep Sleep Batter Saver pro" app from the play store and set the mode to "aggressive", or use Battery Doctor to extend battery life

How to Flash Thunder ROM. Please Pay Attention !!!
- If you currently are on an older base, earlier than XXDME6 / XXDMF2 releases, and want to flash XXDME6 base with ability to change modems, then, this is the ROM for you.
- If you have a full nandroid including EFS from earlier base, then this is the ROM for you.
- If you have EFS backup from earlier base, then this is the ROM for you.
Backups should be somewhere safe, ex: PC or functional external SD.
SO, let's get started...
1) Backup / Nandroid your current ROM including EFS if you are on earlier base such as XXDME1 or XXDMC3, etc...
2) Backup your EFS folder from / to somewhere safe.
3) Backup your EFS img as in steps below: thx to Dr.Ketan.
BACKUP:
Case sensitive commands.
1) Download Terminal Emulator. Open the App and Type:

4) Now you have your Nandroid and EFS backups.
5) Download the ROM.
6) Flash the ROM, in AROMA, you can choose the modem you like.
7) Reboot.
If just in case, you didn't have signal / fake / null IMEI, then restore your Nandroid or Restore your EFS backup.
However, this should work as long as and if and only if you are coming from an older base than XXDME6/XXDMF2; meaning, this is the first time you flash a ROM based on these firmewares.
As you can see in the OP first page, changing modems (screenshots) are possible.

I didn't try to flash back stock but with this rom you can actually flash ubdma1 modem from aroma if this helps you feel Brazillian rom

I Flashed your rom with UBDMA1 modem and Saber Kernel and lost my IMEI and signal 3G. Works only modem XDME4.:crying: Why?

i couldn't use this rom too, my imei was like in other roms, wrong. So i can't use the network.

Old Recent Apps Style: pressing back button will keep the app open and seen when you long press home button
New Recent Apps Style: pressing back button will kill the app and cannot be seen when you long press home buttonBug fixes in tweaks related to double execution of smoothness. Now OK.
Aroma code changes. Now completely controlled by if statements to segregate simplistic options from stock.
Updated Aroma binaries.
S-voice zip fixed. Separately will be provided in bloatware apps section for those who want to use it.

Some tips to save battery life (Thanks wanam):
1) Disable auto sync for accounts if you don't need them. Syncing kills!!
2) Disable GPS and enable it only when you want to use it.
3) Disable auto backup for Gmail account.
4) Set brightness level to automatic.
5) Disable motion if you don't use it from developer options in settings.
6) Check your apps settings and disable useless background sync
7) Use UV (under-volted) kernel. Undervolted means that your device will use relatively less battery to give the same CPU frequency
8) Try out different CPU Governor
9) Use autoStart app or Startup manager to disable un-needed app from automatic startup on boot. It will also make the startup time faster.
10) If you are facing battery juicing, use better battery stats app to find out what application preventing your phone from getting to deep sleep and find out the different types of wake locks.
11) Remove apps you don't use.
12) Enable "Power Saving Mode" from Settings
13) Use "Deep Sleep Batter Saver pro" app from the play store and set the mode to "aggressive", or use Battery Doctor to extend battery life

For those who have issues with camera, pls follow tutorial
1. Enter recovery and flash View attachment STOCK_KERNEL_4.4.4_XXUFNL1.zip
2. Boot into the rom Note: wifi won't work and internal memory and SD card may not be accessible. This is normal
3. Try to start the camera app, it will give you a memory card error but you will see that it's working
4. Reboot into recovery, flash back one of the AGNi kernels below and boot back
5. Now you should have a working camera

download link where ? i think is fake .. and when he add a download link a xda developer have to test this because is he only add a yours name rom and all is he work .. .i think this rom is very fake don't install this !

Can you tell me what pda this rom have? Because till now i tried Galaxy S5Project and Community ROM V1.1 and got factory mode message, i think because pda was PDA I9305XXUFNE3 and PHONE I9305XXUEMK1..
In 2-3days i'll try this, now i have bad connection

Hey man, you can check these details by dialing *#1234#, supersu pops up just tap back and it will show the info.
PDA/PHONE = I9305XXUFNE3
MODEM = I9305XXUEMK1
CSC= I9305TNLEML1
Perhaps because of different CSC in the rom you are getting factory mode I dont really know why, but try flashing your own CSC. Maybe later i can include some CSC's in the aroma installer

Confirmed! thats my offcial stock rom
I see, so you want to flash this official firmware first, to have its csc and modem and then flash this rom on top of it to keep those. Im not sure that will help as you will have the csc and modem of not your official firmware. CSC contains important info about your carrier/apn's/services etc. etc. so i think its the best to have your own csc and or modem.
Edit: i think i need to remove the csc in the rom so that you and others can keep their csc like the modem. we can experiment with this and see what happens..

Install Instruction/FAQ
- if you go from 4.1.2, first of all backup all your data from internal SD card, 4.3 and 4.4 has different structure tree from 4.1.2!!!
- if you go from 4.1.2 or older I recommend format internal card, if you don’t do it, on internal card were by me still data (DCIM etc...) and you can’t normal access them on 4.3, but even without formatting you can later move them from old folder to new one in 4.3 with Aroma file manager , for me easer way without format. Also is possible, that files will move automatically – also me happened
- be sure, you have EFS backup!!!
- create NanDroid backup to external card!!!
- download the *.zip file
- reboot to Recovery, recommended is only PHILz!!!
- ROM isn’t full wipe, but is recommended if you get from any older or you have FCs
- wipe cache and Dalvik cache is automatically included
- select ZIP file and install
- don’t use re-root after installation inside recovery - you don’t need it, if you'll do, then you need install again SU apk from market
- reboot and wait and wait ...
- enjoy it
About bootloaders:
- if you ever flash 4.3 or 4.4 via Odin or updated from OTA you have new Bootloader.
- if you bought your device and you dont know what bootloader you have, turn off your phone,reboot to download mode (hold power + volume down +home buttons) and when is there Knox flag 0x1 you have new and you are warranty off. When Knox flag is there 0x0 you have also new bootloader, but you are still in warranty and when you'll flash any custom recovery or unofficial firmware via Odin, you'll have then Knox 0x1 and you will be warranty off - so it's on your deciding. When isn't in download mode any records about about Knox, you still have old bootloader (btw congratulation ) and don't ever flash via Odin 4.3 and higher firmware - it's a pity.
PS: exit from download mode: hold pressed power button cca 5 seconds
Xposed: if you use Wanam Xposed, after install Rom reactivate Xposed Framework installer.
If you new installed Xposed, open Xposed installer and go to menu "Framework" and choice "Install", then reboot your phone, then open Wanam Xposed apk and activate module Wanam Xposed and next Xposed modules in Xposed installer (menu "Modules"), reboot . That's all, open Wanam Xposed and set, set, set .....enjoy it.
Stock kernel: Wifi works only on new bootloader. If you will have problem with Root, try make update and apply Superuser via market (then open SU and update binary and disable Knox and enjoy), or Re-root into Recovery (only PhilZ is recommended), Then you have to again install and apply Superuser apk from Market.
On new bootloader after installation i recommend you make status selinux permissive via WANAM XPOSED OR SELinux Mode Changer .....when you will not make this status, are expected problem with root
Note 4 Launcher - AccuWeather widgets: if you got any FC (is expected from Accu without full-wipe), clear data and cashes in app manager, reboot
Note 4 Launcher: "Apk not found with swipe to right site" ....you didn't choose this item in Installer/Theme and apk/quet down, reistall rom or install Flipboard apk from Market and My Magazine apk from here or unpick this option in Launcher's setting
S5 MMS apk FC: someone got FC, when installed real S5 phone, then install Rom again without S5 Phone, defaultly will be installed S5 Themed with AutoCallRecording - Description is also in the Aroma Installer! Or you have to go full-wipe or double full-wipe.
S5 dialler UNWANTED "voice guidance" for caller-ID while in-call: phone/settings/call/answering ending calls/ uncheck voice control or follow this
Add Font menu in S5 Setting: you can set fonts by adding the fonts to the quick settings in settings. Go to settings and then tap menu and edit quick settings and check the box for fonts and save
UPSM apk: you can add any custom apks tu UPSM, but it needs clean data and cache of Eemergencymanagerservice and Emergencyprovider everytime you change anything in UPSM apks manager
Coloured UPSM and no possible Screen mode (standard, dynamic, professional photo and movie) : on AGNi you have to disable MDNIE HIJACK in AGNi control app
Extra-mos, 3 dot menu in S5 UI: if you don't like it, follow this post
Music shutter in AGNi Kernels by screen off: use kernel AGNi without any sound mod. You can also fix it by using intelliactive (not recommended since it doesn't hotplug) or lulzactiveq.
The NewPure Audio Mod: This mod hasn't graphic equaliser! There is built-in PureEQ equaliser set up to 3-5-5-3-8. If you want use compatible graphic equaliser use DSP Manager from Rom's Aroma installer. DSP manager is supported with the mod and quality of sound isn't at all disappeared , or you can use also this ViPER4Android FX, but with this apk you lost setting of PureEQ (sound will be worse), but you can there set up again it on 3-5-5-3-8 (all 2x there) and the sound of PureEQ is again back and great .
Next possibility is use Google Play Music, there seems is sound quiet the same, but I don't recommend it to use with graphic equaliser Music FX (quality lost) and instead you should again flash DSP Manger from above or use ViPER4Android and in the Setting/My device/Sound set up ViPER4Android as default.
Also is possible only use some graphic equalisers from Market but they aren't supported directly from both Apks
Worst variant is use Stock Player, there is biggest loss quality of sound.
Camera: if you have problem with Camera follow part "Notes"
Boot Sound: if you want activate boot sound, rename in system/media/audio/ui/PowerOn.ogg.bakkk to PowerOn.ogg
P.S. did you forget something install? Or you have installed something more, nothing happens, install Rom again, select what you want add or remove .... Rom isn't full wipe ;-)

Notes
If your camera doesn't work use Fix (Patch) in Aroma Rom installer. Or flash Camera Patch - thanks @MaHo_66 . For interesting here are also older instruction: follow this (thanks @Hbohd and @P$T), if you don't have incriminated file flash relevant Stock kernel from HERE or Rom with Stock Kernel - Wifi doesn't work with old bootloader, then take photo and short video, then flash again your Rom without full wipe with kernel which you like. If your camera still doesn't work follow THIS or flash some Rom 4.1.2 (via Recovery or Odin) take picture, grab and backup incriminated files, then flash this Rom and put them to data/cwm. Don't forget backup your SlimISP_XX.bin for future. Problem with camera have only some users - Samsung issue.

From my experience with Amcha rom 4.3 i can say that it was the best TW rom for my daily use and i dont have any doubts that this will also be a great rom :good:

Downaloading right now, it nice to see some new stuff here. The other 4.4.4 thread rom i get stuck on bootloop, so i will try this one

had same problem, if anyone would read comments they would see i removed sd card and the rom booted, with the new bootloader. It tok around 5 minutes

i am not sure if it was the card 100% i tried to install it twice and it worked third time. Try to format everything, including the memory card
