I've got an branded Xperia J,and i want to unlock the bootloader for installing custom roms, but i's not allowed. In the service menu readed its not allowed. I dont want to brick my phone. How can I unlock it?

Hello guys
I have Xperia J witch is SIM locked and network branded.
In my Bootloader unlock allowed says NO, so is it possible at this time to unlock bootloader some way on there is still no solution for this?
I know this phone is new and development is in early stages and there is no much information on the web.
Is it still possible to ROOT and flash custom recovery if bootloader is locked?

You can try to root it first. There are no CWM or custom Rom for J at this moment.

I want to install CM10, but for it i must have the Bootloader unlocked, and that is my big problem:
In my phone appear it: Bootloader unlock allowed: no.
To unlock bootloader i tried:

And nothing helped me.

Hey,
The only available way is paying for it. You could try to use SEtool yourself, but you need some knowledge of it! It's not simple. Plus £10(€15) isn't that much money, right?

15€ is not much, true, but this time I am still only a student and makes me miss.
How do not need it to live, I can take my mobile phone as well .. One day, if it is really necessary, I will pay to have it unlocked.

Please tell me how can I unlock the mobile ? If I use custom kernel then can I install custom rom on locked bootloader ?

I've got an Xperia E that is sim locked and I need to unlock it. Can't unlock the bootloader though.
Not really familiar with Sony phone either as I usually stick with Sammy and HTC and just need a backup phone.

My sister-in-law has Sony Xperia L, and she has recently changed carrier. I wanted to flash her phone with a custum rom with unlocked sim status. But I have a problem with unlocking the bootloader. Bootloader status: Unlock not allowed. Is there any way to unlock it, or flash a custum rom without unlocked bootloader?
