Just wondering if there is any way to change the slider into the stock unlock button from the custom "Slim" slider. Or is this just a part of the ROM that cannot be changed?
Thanks
i think this is it, but im not sure.

Can someone tell me something about AOKP?
Does the default install of the latest build (40, I believe) include a transparent (even partially) notification dropdown?
Yes, it does have transparent lock screen. I don't think anyone will give you a list of features when you can just go to the website and see for yourself.

Not asking for a list of features, and I wasn't asking about lock screen.
I want to know about the notification background.
It's not listed on their website that I've seen. It's just a simple swipe down on the status bar and either it is transparent or it isn't...

Not sure if you mean transparent in AOKP in general, but I'm on b39 at the moment and yes its about 30 40percent transparent.

That's what I wanted to know. Thanks. I've been wanting that in a ROM and I haven't been able to do it myself (like I used to on my OG Droid). Makes me lean even more toward AOKP.

It's customizable in the ROM Control settings as well.
Sorry, I thought you wanted to know all about AOKP. Misread the notification question as well. Going back to bed now...lol.

I remember seeing that a while back, but I went through while answering earlier and couldn't find it, only status bar transparency.

For some odd reason I have two lock screens, my original stock lock screen and then my themed lock screen. Could anyone help me with my issue?
Some lockscreens replacement apps are not able to disable the stock lock screen. I couldn't get go locker to work either, both screens would display. It's been a while, but I think Magic locker and Widget locker both work on a stock phone. Or, if your rooted and have moved up to Gingerbread, Trailblazer has an excellent mod that includes several different lockscreens... I highly recommend it!

And with my mods you can disable the lockscreen! I don't know if it would also disable the themed one, but it would be worth a shot!
And thanks for the recommendation roaddog! Did my p.m. help ya figure out centering the text? Never heard back!

Didn't know you had responded... Thought I had it set to notify me, but thanks!
And I was able to... Amazingly
After several(failed) attempts it finally seems to be working fine. The date is not quite centered, but I have another step to try. I also set the date to change to what ever color the clock is set to. Added some custom softkeys too. Attached a screen shot, if anyone wants this, I have a flashable zip.
And thanks again tb, your themer is my tool of choice!!

So I was thinking Ill just go back to using cyanogenmod 4.1. My problem is, though, I adore that nifty "hold home key down on lock screen for 3 seconds" for the torch on MIUI. My question to you is, can I have the lightness of cyanogenmod stock jb with the awesomeness of the torch? If so, where can I get it? Thanks in advance.
First off its miui
And why not just add a status bar toggle for torch? You can pull down the status bar while on the lock screen and enable the torch
I'm also a fan of the feature but I haven't seen it in another aosp ROM

I thought it would be great to be able to do the torch thing like it does. It's neat. And I wouldn't know how to make a toggle for torch anyway.

You'd just enable it in notification bar. Simple

Hi!
Just out of plain curiosity: How hard would it be to customize the softkeys on this device? I'm not really a fan of the Asus stock softkeys and I've seen custom softkey threads all around xda, but never on TF700 forums.
Am I really just blind or has nobody yet tried this?

There are no soft keys on my TF700, where did you buy yours?

Oh, my bad
Well is there a name for those buttons which you use to control the tablet?
CM 10.1 lets you customise whats there and can download themes which will change them
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.janis605.softkeyz
Well, it's not really customizable on CM10, or that app. If you want real control over the nav buttons you should flash an AOKP ROM like Baked Black Bean 8.

Personally I just want to change the images/looks of the buttons. Nothing more. Don't know if that counts as real control.
But are the pics saved in some folder, like res/drawable or are they in the SystemUI.apk. Probably a stupid question, but I'm totally new to this.

They are in SystemUI.apk (look for ic_sysbar_home.png). It should be easy to find a guide how to mod SystemUI.
How can I get this navbar in this photo ?

i dont know the exact answer but,
it could be a custom rom and part of the rom script.
im sure if you were rooted and had the icons and knew which ones to switch, it could be done that way.
a more slim but possible way would be with an exposed module that allows custom nav bar icons. i dont know if that exist or not. i know there are some preset nav bar customizations.
hope that gives you some directions to look into anyways.
