[Q] Hey, few questions

I have an HTC One X on AT&T and live in the US. I just want to be sure that i am following the right root tutorial. I have Android 4.0.4 (still dont have JB update). I have Sense 4.0 and software number 2.20.502.7
This the right tutorial to follow? :

Also, Do I have to unlock the bootloader, or is it already unlocked?
Can I get the jelly bean update later on if I wanted?

Thanks for the link. Can you recommend a couple ROMs you think are good that are compatible with my phone?

I'm running Clean Rom 5.1 right now. It is a Sense 4.1, android 4.0.4 rom but it is waaayyy better than the stock rom. Very stable and great battery life. I've also ran his CleanRom JB rom and it is great also. Some people have had random reboot issue while running jb. Me included, but with Clean Rom JB I didn't have any. I've also heard good things about ViperXL.

Just read through the threads, and you can see what people like. Better yet, just look at the features of the ROMs, see which ones suit you, and try a few.

Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and the new HTC Sense 5 UI update out for the European HTC One X (codename Endeavor) today its about 356 MB in Size any idea when AT&T is gonal release it for thier One X known internationally as the One XL (codename Evita)??? Please shed some light on this....

I think the update is for tegra version...
Useless for us anyways...

You'd be better off asking HTC about this, I highly doubt they're going to see your question here.

Yes,for now the OTA update is only for Tegra 3 device HOX...at&t version of update will come later

Is the VIPER XL Compatible with my HTC?

I have a HTC one x from rogers,Canada and im not sure if its considered the international version? I don't want to brick my phone so my Jelly Bean - Android 4.2.2 / Sense 5 ViperXL 4.0.0 compatible with my rogers htc one x?

no offense but if i were you i wouldn't be flashing anything. i'm assuming you don't know your way around an adb enviro. is your device rooted? bootloader unlocked? s-off?
read up and become familiar with these things then flash away

Also become familiar with forum rules, as posting this kind of question in a development section is asinine. Mods, can you move this to the proper place

works works works...HTC One XL is basically the north american versions of HTC One X. viperxl roms work on rogers, telus, at&t and telstra One X. so go ahead flash it. you wont brick your phone. dont forget to back up the stock ROM. good luck

[Q] Can I flash my phone to xxx rom?

Hi, new user here :]
Just wanted to know if I can flash AR HD rom (or any JB roms) on my phone.
I'm asking this because my CID is pretty rare and I read that it may cause some problems.
I had ICS 4.0.4 and hboot 1.12 until yesterday when I found a way to upgrade hboot and to flash
some random rom someone suggested me that crash a lot...
