It seems there is no need to do a full wipe if updating, but to avoid issues it is recommended. I didn't get to use this specific ROM, bt from my experience with CM10.1, there is no problem at all with not wiping. Just remember that if you have any issues, the first thing you have to do is to fully wipe your phone.

So it's ok not to do anything? I wipe cache and dalvik cache and it was running in a weird fashion - rebooting, slow response... i have just restored to the rom dated 03/09/2013.
also how do I use the Kernel Aroma installer? Just run it?
Tks!
I don't really like posyting questions like this, but I was hoping to get CM11 installed on this device but it just won't boot. I've tried one of the unofficial nightlies, and the official M1 release. Is anyone else having this problem? It's just stuck at the bootlogo with the spinning arrow. Yes, I have wiped data, cache and dalvik. I flashed through CWM, too.
EDIT: Got it working by flashing with TWRP.

Thanks for the update - i'm having issues with this as well.
Hey there!
I flashed cm10.1.3 from dirty developers but the settings gave me fc when I go to security settings.
So I cannot check the unknown sources option and hence I cannot install apps other than from play store
Also keyboard is not working so I cannot type anything
No one has faced these bugs so thought of asking it here
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks in advance!!

it maybe because of a dirty flash. wipe data, cache and dalvik cache and flash the rom again.

I clean flashed
Few days ago I flashed cm 12.1[UNOFFICIAL] without clearing data and cache as I was on cm 12[UNOFFICIAL] but then I decided to flash PAC MAN ROM [OFFICIAL] before flashing the PAC MAN ROM I cleared the data cache etc...while wiping CWM recovery gave me an error ...
which was "E:unknown volume for path [ext-sd]" I still tried to clear dalvick cache etc but still the same error then I flashed the rom and Gapps anyways and rebooted the data was cleared and everything seemed fine but when I tried to install and run apps like 'Adobe Acrobat Reader','Tubemate','Facebook',and some more 3rd party apps they all would FC some would FC on startup some while using them Today I flashed Ressurection Remix 5.5.5[OFFICIAL] by using the same process I used for flashing PAC MAN ROM but CWM gave same error and the apps still DO NOT WORK THESE APPS WORKED FINE IN CM12 and CM12.1
I dont know what is wrong or which step I messed up..
I would be very great full if someone helps me out as I really need those apps to work:crying:
Thanks!
And yeah I did no changes in the Kernel and all The only changes I did Are mentioned above

Yeah its solved now there was a bug in cm 12.1 no bug on PA bc its aosp
Sent from my GT-I9105P
-On MIUI 11 the wifi had no problems.
-I have unlocked the bootloader and installed TWRP
-I've updated 2 times to the latest version MIUI 12.
-MAgisk was installed, but now the Wifi keeps disconnecting and reconnecting.
- I've installed the latest update (Xiaomi.eu 20.5.22) WITHOUT magisk and the wifi problem is still there.
Attempts to fix:
-turned off wifi, cleared all previous networks, wiped wifidaemon, boot to TWRP wiped cache and dalvik before and after update install.
-problem is still there
1. Did magisk create this problem?
2. Is this wifi problem a part of the firmware?
3. Is this a problem caused by TWRP?
4. Are there any fixes?
Thank you

Okay, thanks. I've just switched back tob the latest MIUI 11. I think it's a problem with the MIUI 12 ROM. I have no problems any more so I will wait until it is fully and finally developed.
