Well, it's based off CM10.1 Unofficial by Scott Hart Bti
But I put Pac stuff in there

I'm pretty sure the pa team doesn't want their preferences in any rom but their own. Pac rom had to take it out

I fully understand your concern and what could happen to my account. But I've always wanted to give something to the people who are way too lazy to find it. This is basically PAC with PA Pref. and a few other things. This just makes it a lot easier for people who are too lazy too try and find the apk and put it in their /system/apps/ folder. Hopefully if someone from PA reads this they won't shut down the thread or ban my account. I know I should get permission but.. It just makes it a lot easier for other people. Putting what people like in Roms is my favorite thing so far and I will go as far as I can to make sure people are happy with Android and their Rom. I mean I work as hard as I can to make everything with their electronic devices From Apple, to Linux, and finally to Windows amazing! I hate Apple and Windows but I still try to make everyone happy. I even recommend Raspberry Pi to help teach kids about coding in linux and somewhat windows in my school. I know this is not much of a speech but I'm just trying to keep this rom up so people can just be happy. If this thread was shut down I would be distraught. This rom actually began just me wanting PA Pref on my infuse. But before I get off-topic I just want ParanoidAndroid to keep this thread up.
Thank You for taking the time to read this some-what speech of mine and I hope you have a Great Weekend and a Great Friday. Jonah Signing Out.

Sorry, but the people at PAC have absolutely no sense of humor. Just ask Giovanni Roco. And I would bet dollars to donuts that someone has already reported you.

Your thoughts of wanting to share by putting this ROM together was in the right place.
No one will fault you for that.
However, in the ROM, you have included other developers work.
You may need their actual permission if you want to use it.
Here is PAC-ROM's OP.

Read it and you will understand what Scott is saying.

i remember awhile ago when people asked if i took donations. I've given it some thought and decided that if you wanted to donate, please donate to my favorite charity in the link below. By the way, you don't have to give the suggested amount. There's a google checkout link in which you can decide. The disabled athlete sports association gives children with physical disabilities such as cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy the opportunity to compete locally and nationally in several sports such as swimming, track and field, and many others. My dad and i have coached the swimming team for five years so this charity is near and dear to me and my family. In no way is anyone obligated to donate, but it would be greatly appreciated. If you choose to donate, please let me know by pm or here in the thread.
For more information and success stories, go here http://www.dasasports.org/home/about-us and here http://www.dasasports.org/home/success-storiee

It should just be this: [ACS][ROM]MIUI.us MTDKang-RC0.5 (1/4/12)
Anything else like "1.12.23" should be in the OP
Just a suggestion xP
Quick question since I think no one's asked. We can load nandroid backups of this and CM7 as a type of "dual boot" yeah?

[CWM-APP][TOOL] AROMA Filemanager

Ok so first off I want to say that I'm not the dev of this awesomeness I just want to share it with the good folks here on the g2x threads in case you don't read other threads outside of the g2x. This is an open source application so feel free to enjoy!
The original thread by amarullz is here. (Also visit there for the github source too.)

The World's First ANDROID Recovery Based Filemanager
Have you ever wanted to run a file manager app in CWM? Who hasnt? I know I have well here it is the one and only Aroma Filemanager.
What is this? This is a .zip file that you download and flash just like any other rom/kernel/mod/fill-in-the-blank flashable zip. Once 'installed' it will give you the ability to edit your file system right in recovery!
How do we use it?Just as stated above. Download and flash just like any flashable .zip in recovery and then watch AROMA Filemanager do it magic!
Will it brick my phone?AROMA Filemanager itself wont brick your phone. However you deleting vital system apps/libs/files/etc could possibly brick your phone or leave it severely disabled.
What are the advantages of this app?Well first off you can edit the ENTIRE Android File system in recovery. This is an amazing app and very versatile.
What if I have issues with this app?Well you got a couple choices, you cant post your issues here and I will do my best to help resolve them. Or you can join the AROMA IRC channel for direct assistance. The channel is #aroma and its on Freenode.
Screen Caps

From all of us... You are welcome. Most of the thanks goes to Open1Your1Eyes1. He got the goods and passed them to me then I passed them to the other Devs.
From there I did my thing... Which is stock root and CleanROM Lite Edition then a full CleanROM will follow in 48 to 72 hours.
Want to see what bugs may shake loose, if any.
It also seems the J1 mods work on this build with no side affects so that saves time but will eventually rebuild them all so they are all matching. Kinda like a vintage Corvette. Its just better to have matching numbers

I just wonder how long did this porting took from you?
And was it hard?

Aside from downloading, it took me about 45 mins. And honestly, I did this as a hobby project. Didn't think too many people would actually try it out.
And it surprisingly simple to do.

Thanks for this ROM dude Loving it!
And to those who say "Why would you want to have that crap iOS look on your android?"
I say "Because I do."

I am wondering what comes with this at just 81.81 mb? Does it have all the standard stuff?
Curious: Does 720p recording work with this?
This comes with everything CM7 comes with and a little extras. And I honestly don't know, as I can't find my external SD card

Scott started out just like this, porting existing roms to the infuse. If he said "entropy's cm9 build is better why bother trying" where would we be now?

Let this thread be for general questions, comments, discussion, likes, gripes, or Deep Thoughts regarding Paranoid Android for the Atrix 2.
The development thread will be for... well, development. Meaning whatever you think it means.. Just try to keep that one clean of general chatter and preferences, etc.

Carry on.

I was wondering if my lap dock would still be usable if I upgraded to your upcoming PA3.0?

Is it usable on the current cm-based version? If so, then it's a good possibility it will/can work in aospa. If not, then don't count on it... (Sorry, don't have one, and don't recall the status of it on the cm10-based roms)
I'll have to give it a try this weekend. I'll flash one of the current offerings for cm and report back.
As always Altered thank you for your continued support.

In an attempt to move the PA 3.0 speculations, questions, and offers to test to this thread...
I was running it all day yesterday, and I am surprised at how relatively well it runs on our phone - I mean we are pushing the envelope here running JB 4.2.2 on the old ICS kernel, and trying to deal with Moto's closed-source/lockdown.
One major issue I am working out is the sdcard not being recognized - should be an easy fix, but I just can't pinpoint it yet (and I took a break from it last night and went to bed early - or normal time - for once). But that sdcard issue is keeping me from testing things like camera and screenshot, etc.. So, until I work that out I will not be handing out any test copies. One other trusted person/dev has access to it, and will hopefully be giving me a hand ( you know who you are)... And I didn't want to bother Jim with it, but if he has some spare time and interest, I will make it available to him as well (especially since I think he got my Deep Thought reference in the OP ).
Besides the sdcard, there is no hwcomposer like in cm10.1 - so, it's got that weird display that's really noticeable when scrolling - and I am not sure that that will ever work properly for us..

Take your time man. No rush lol. Ill be glad to be a tester. +1
Finally.. a screenshot is saved! Got the sdcard working.. Bunch of other things to still work out and/or tweak.. but it's coming together.

No idea, honestly - I never tried - but would be curious to know myself.
I think others have done it with CMPA and CM10.1, right..? I lost track of everything.. but PA3.+ has the same built-in recovery so it should behave the same.
