Is it usable on the current cm-based version? If so, then it's a good possibility it will/can work in aospa. If not, then don't count on it... (Sorry, don't have one, and don't recall the status of it on the cm10-based roms)
I'll have to give it a try this weekend. I'll flash one of the current offerings for cm and report back.
As always Altered thank you for your continued support.

In an attempt to move the PA 3.0 speculations, questions, and offers to test to this thread...
I was running it all day yesterday, and I am surprised at how relatively well it runs on our phone - I mean we are pushing the envelope here running JB 4.2.2 on the old ICS kernel, and trying to deal with Moto's closed-source/lockdown.
One major issue I am working out is the sdcard not being recognized - should be an easy fix, but I just can't pinpoint it yet (and I took a break from it last night and went to bed early - or normal time - for once). But that sdcard issue is keeping me from testing things like camera and screenshot, etc.. So, until I work that out I will not be handing out any test copies. One other trusted person/dev has access to it, and will hopefully be giving me a hand ( you know who you are)... And I didn't want to bother Jim with it, but if he has some spare time and interest, I will make it available to him as well (especially since I think he got my Deep Thought reference in the OP ).
Besides the sdcard, there is no hwcomposer like in cm10.1 - so, it's got that weird display that's really noticeable when scrolling - and I am not sure that that will ever work properly for us..

Take your time man. No rush lol. Ill be glad to be a tester. +1
Finally.. a screenshot is saved! Got the sdcard working.. Bunch of other things to still work out and/or tweak.. but it's coming together.

I think others have done it with CMPA and CM10.1, right..? I lost track of everything.. but PA3.+ has the same built-in recovery so it should behave the same.

Since you've already been scolded... lol there's not much we can do with the dump considering its for a device running 4.2.2 out the box. Now if we had a working kernel compatible to that version of android it might be possible.

The S4 is 2 generations after our phone so it would be impossible to do because of many reason including different screen type and size, different ram size and waaaay different and better processor and those r just a few and yes kernels r a big reason we r still on android 4.1.2 well probly never see 4.2.2 but there r a ton of roms to be happy about for me more than enough... So ya that S4 sys dump isn't anything ur gonna get to work on our phone

Just out of curiosity, what error specifically is keeping a kernal of 4.2+ from coming out for the blaze? Being a novice here, i would assume that there isn't too much of a difference between 4.1 and 4.2, but i can, and probably, be wrong. I just find it interesting to know whats going on within the development. Also, a 4.2.2 kernal might be out of the question, but would a 4.2.1 kernal be within our grasp?

An upgrade to 4.2 is a big difference, from 4.2.1 to 4.2.2 is nothing. Cm didn't make a new branch for cm 10.2 hence the small update. No known exact issue or somebody would've already fixed it

I fully understand your concern and what could happen to my account. But I've always wanted to give something to the people who are way too lazy to find it. This is basically PAC with PA Pref. and a few other things. This just makes it a lot easier for people who are too lazy too try and find the apk and put it in their /system/apps/ folder. Hopefully if someone from PA reads this they won't shut down the thread or ban my account. I know I should get permission but.. It just makes it a lot easier for other people. Putting what people like in Roms is my favorite thing so far and I will go as far as I can to make sure people are happy with Android and their Rom. I mean I work as hard as I can to make everything with their electronic devices From Apple, to Linux, and finally to Windows amazing! I hate Apple and Windows but I still try to make everyone happy. I even recommend Raspberry Pi to help teach kids about coding in linux and somewhat windows in my school. I know this is not much of a speech but I'm just trying to keep this rom up so people can just be happy. If this thread was shut down I would be distraught. This rom actually began just me wanting PA Pref on my infuse. But before I get off-topic I just want ParanoidAndroid to keep this thread up.
Thank You for taking the time to read this some-what speech of mine and I hope you have a Great Weekend and a Great Friday. Jonah Signing Out.

Your thoughts of wanting to share by putting this ROM together was in the right place.
No one will fault you for that.
However, in the ROM, you have included other developers work.
You may need their actual permission if you want to use it.
Here is PAC-ROM's OP.

Read it and you will understand what Scott is saying.
Just figured I would share. The S2 Hercules has now got CM 10.2. Of course it's not official yet and it does have its bugs to sort through. It was built from source though, so maybe someone here can build it for the SGS4G.

Yes, I tried it and it's nice. But what bothers me with JB (4.30) or 4.2.2+ is the inability
to mount SD card as USB mass storage anymore. Instead Google used Media
Transfer Protocols (MTP+PTP) for mounts. Which doesn't play well in Linux and
it has super slow file transfers even in windows, let alone it fails to copy some
non-media files..
ICS ftw.

I've not had these problems on linux or windows. MTP always works just fine for me.
Now on Mac... hehe, that is a totally different story for me. The heimdall driver conflicts with the vmware fusion usb device sharing and the android file transfer tool totally freaks out when either of those are installed. It is also a crappy tool. I really wish there was a better way to do mtp on mac.

I noticed other RIL issues while trying to get AT&T working with CM7 and Stock KJ6.
The issue I'm seeing is that cell network broadcasts are failing. I'm thinking that there is some other dependency issue with rild and related ril libraries that is missing that implements this functionality, where on other galaxy s phones that functionality is in the rild or related ril libraries.
I'm working on this, because I have to get rid of my galaxy note, and would like to go back to using sgs4g for my daily driver.
So I might push a new cm7 if I can fix this, and those changes would be applicable to cm9 and cm10.x.
I think this also has to do with why RILD resets.
Update status

I'm afraid I probably won't have much time for development once school starts in a couple of weeks.
However, if anyone's interested, I can take a shot at AOSP 4.3. I'll need somewhere to host it though.
Yeah a aosp 4.3 would be awesome

Cool thanks it's always fun to get a new rom. If anyone flashes this coming from CM10.2 official let me know how it went. Until my desire to flash comes along and I try it myself.
ROM link is down :/

This ROM is very smooth, nice work dev! Gonna go back to Jelly Beans though. I have found that CM10 is to basic for my needs.

How's it running? This thread got quiet quickly. That's either good or bad and it has me curious.

The ROM has been running great on the AT&T side, my friend has been running the d2vzw release and only had an issue with focal, like every other ROM right now.

That was like the one big thing that made me go back to TW based Roms was the camera volume thing. I got two little kids, gotta capture the moments. Thank you for reassuring me!! Really appreciate it Downloading now!!
Another question: I don't use bluetooth much at all but I DO use NFC to transfer pics I take with my phone to my tablet & my wife's phone. Does NFC function ok on this Rom?
