Hi, totally new to this technology so i'm learning from here onwards.
I have a Fusion 5 extra v2 10.1 tablet running Jellybean 4.1.1 ( purchased through amazon.co.uk)
with the following specs
Product Description
Operation System Android 4.1.1
Processor Rockchip3066 Cortex A9 1.5G; Dual Core
Processor Speed 1.4Ghz
Memory 1GB DDR3
Hard drive 16GB
Display 10"TFT HD Capacitive touch screen,1024*600
WIFI 802.11b/g/N
TF Support Micro SD / T-Flash, Max 32GB
Battery 6400mAh
I'm looking to root it, and possibly flash it with a custom rom.. ( all dependant on what options I have)
I don't usually like asking for help first as I like working things out, but i would just like a little nudge in the right direction would be appreciated
When loking into rooting this and backing up and updating the OS which sub forum should i be reading? the android one? or could my tablet be a re-badged other type.. ( and if so, what's the best way of finding out)
If the device has a dedicated forum, then all the stuff related to that device will be in that forum and post the questions in q&a of that forum itself.
If it doesn't have one, then use the Android section. ( Android general and q&a)

Hi guys,
Have been reading and back reading for quite some time already ever since I got this android phone from back a month ago. Phone specs are as follows : O+ 8.9 Android (ICS 4.0.4) 2 GHZ MT6577 CPU 512 RAM and 4GB internal memory with 8GB SD card. 5MP rear camera and unknown front cam resolution. It has all the bells and whistles, able to run and download apps smoothly, have it rooted and flashed CWM 6 afaik.
My main concern here is that its advertised as upgradeable to Jelly Bean and have asked from manufacturers support page how soon we could get jelly bean with no luck. I've been trying to get different custom roms, but I fear that the bootloader is locked therefore 'am unable to do any custom roms. I don't care what special rom features so as long as I could get jelly bean and run it. I'm sure I can tweak it to my taste and mod from scratch if need be. So my question is are there any "Similar" same spec'd phones that have a stock or custom rom with jelly bean on it that I can experiment on? keeping in mind I have MT6577, dual core and 512 of ram, then I'll be one happy used. Hope someone get's to reply on this thread as I've noticed users aren't that accommodating on these forums. I've been a forum member/moderator on various forums whether gaming, modding etc. But so far this is a new scene to me and I'm doing my best to cope up with the technology, but clearly someone needs to help us with the ropes on here otherwise, people can just call noob on everyone.
Thanks in advance and would do my best to contribute here as well.
Hi,
have you manage to install JB on your device?
is it possible to install a rom from another device but with the same specs (cpu, ram, screen resolution)?
i have neo n002 and i would like to try and install JB on it.
thanx
Hi, Hello to everybody, i don't know if this is the right place to post, or if i had to introduce myself first in some other area of the forum(sorry for the bad english but im Portuguese), but well...
Last Week i went to spain and bought a new smart phone(my old huawei u8800 was kinda broken xD) so i bought myself a 5'inch(correct for screen size??) IPS+OGS phone, wich looked very fine running android 4.4.2 on it, the thing is i bought with it a modest 16gb micro-sd card so i wont get so early out of space untill i find a better one that suits my tastes, the thing is i cannot move the apps like games tio my external sd becuase the phone has an internal memmory of 8gb(4gb for the system and 4gb for the user) and we all know about the limitation that google has put about the external cards and i need root acess to get the stuff working, thing is this device is kinda unknown and im not seeing it listed here in xda(maybe i did not search well enough) i can't get myself rooted no matter how, tried cynda impactor, tried MTK droid tools, but none of them work, i can't even get a full firmware backup with the mtk droid tools, so i decided to register myself and ask for some help of you guys if you guys can't help well no one can... here are the model and specs of the device:
Model: Primux Zeta 2
CPU: Quad Core MTK6582M 1,3 GHz
Ram: 1GB
External MicroSD up to 32GB
Display: Size 5"
Type IPS/OGS
Resolution: 960x540 qHD
OS: Android 4.4.2 Kitkat
if this post is in the wrong area please somehow move it? im really not used to the forum and don't know the places in the house, i apologize for some mistakes in spelling and anything else, Thanks in Advance.

Hi,
I can not find anything relevant on XDA for your device either. So, you can try a generic root methods at the top of the list here,
XDA Root Directory
Otherwise you'll need to ask if anyone has any information here,

Good luck!
Its been a year since I'm using this tablet and waiting anxiously for a custom ROM. I also have a HTC Sensation with CM12 installed and its satisfying (Its freaking Awesome ?). Now about my tablet, the manufacturing company (A Chinese one "Ainol") has abandoned this product providing with no help and updates for this product and the only thing that they provided was a link to a Chinese web page to download an old firmware (Android 4.2.2 build 20140107) which doesn't work as it has a problem with the backlight (turning screen off after 3 sec of last usage until unless I take screenshots continuously or type something) even in the recovery. Right now I have Android 4.4 KitKat "Build 20140414" installed (Which I got from a Chinese forum), it has bugs and a great problem "Shrinking the Internal SD Storage from 32GB (25.5GB which is usable) to 16GB (11.5GB usable)" and the processors are heavily used and more than half of the ram (≈1.1GB out of 1.96GB) is used even with no user apps installed. Battery drainage is faster than ever (Battery capacity is 13000 mAh but it lasts for 7 hours of usage under normal conditions and up to 21 hours of standby). It also provides low fps for apps other than the stock launcher which is not good for gaming. Video playback is good, no problems with that, same with audio playback. WiFi usage is good even at greater distances. There is no support for Wireless display (miracast). HDMI quality is AWESOME but it slows down the tablet. It takes a while to turn the screen on (approx. 3 sec after the power button is pressed). Stock ROM (the one with which the tablet came) was awesome but I don't have it now. I just wanna say that a Quad-Core processor (1.6 GHz) should work better than a dual core processor (my htc's) and smoother.
All I wanna say is that someone please help me and other fellows and develop CUSTOM RECOVERIES and ROMs for this device, I would be happy and be willing to test them on my own device. The online recovery builder(clockworkmod) didn't work giving the error 404. Any help would be appreciated!!! ? Chao! ???

Hi there,
I'm sorry but I can't find anything related to your question/device.
You must start asking that in the forum bellow for more answers from the experts:

Good luck
Hey,
I recently acquired a Will.i.am iAm+ Puls, and want to see if I can load full android on it (it's currently running a forked version of 4.1). It's an awful product, but heck figured it might be fun to try to load full android on it or even android wear and see what I can do. Problem is, it does not look like it has any USB connectivity, so would need some suggestion on how to load a ROM on it otherwise as I'm unfamiliar with how to do it.
If anyone could provide any guidance that would be great
For the curious here's some specs:
1.7-inch PMOLED Display
dual core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon
1GB RAM
16GB of storage
GSM 3G
WiFi
Bluetooth 4.0
GPS
pedometer (not actually sure if it has it.. isn't surfaced in UI)
accelerometer (not actually sure if it has it.. isn't surfaced in UI)
Sorry.. I'm new, but should this have actually been posted in Q&A?
