I tried searching and couldn't find much info, other then phone rebooting when in sleep, or for rooted phones so any help is appreciated!
Two days ago my gyroscope started giving problem, it would up be on landscape mode for the notification bar or anything that can use landscape, this is with the phone calibrated properly and the phone being upright! now whenever the phone give this issue it reboots, yesterday it happened thrice!

What launcher are you using? Try clearing the cache and possibly data for your launcher (and the stock launcher even if you arnt using it). Remember clearing data for the launcher ill wipe your home screen setup (icon and widget placement, nothing to important). If that doesnt work I think the only thing you can try is a factory reset. Verizon will make you do that anyway.

Alright, I'll do that and get back to you! for now the problem has stopped, but i'll clear the Cache and i use the stock launcher at the moment~

Reason being, I'm getting quite a few FCs with LauncherPro and K-9 and even though I have AdFree, I'm sometimes getting ads on Widgetlocker Lockscreen (which I don't recall ever having ads, especially since its a paid app). Plus my phone freezes every once and a while and I need to reboot.
Any tips or suggestions??
I guess another option is to bite the bullet and get Fission, but my concern is this is a "work" phone and I will need to unroot and revert back to stock when I'm done with it and I'm a rooting and ROM n00b and I don't know how simple all that will be.
BTW, I already have a NAND backup and app and data backups with Titanium and MyBackup Pro/Root.
Well - try to delete caches first (from stock recovery - delete cache). If this doesn't help, problem could be caused by a combination of applications you use. You can go with hard reset and reinstall everything to see if behaviour will change. If after hard reset and fresh reinstall phone keeps doing this, try to remove app by app until you figure out which one is the "offender". It is usually combination. I would start with Widgetlocker Lockscreen if I were you..

Thank you! I uninstalled WidgetLocker and ran Cache Cleaner and let me see if that works. FYI since I posted this originally, I had to uninstall K-9 because as great as it is and as much as I miss it, the FCs were increasing.
BTW are there a known issues with WidgetLocker Lockscreen??
Thanks again!
Hi Everyone,
So recently YouTube updated to version 2.4.4, and apparently, videos launch with considerable lag that locks up the device. I've tried every rom with every kernel and they all behave the same. Maybe Titanium Backup? But it worked before...
1. Anybody else getting this?
2. Any solutions?
Wait I just installed RolleTube (version 2.1.6) and it still lags. Now I'm seriously wondering what's wrong.

Well, the even weirder thing is that when I just install a ROM, TiBu, and run youtube, there's no lags. Then when I reboot (because of battery or something), the lag reappears. Fix Permissions seems to be locking up in the middle of the process, and I have to hard shutoff to get the device back working. Funny thing is that youtube worked fine like a month ago...

Did that already... Even wiped my internal 16gb. Darkside wipe, fix permission, etc. etc. didn't work - still there.
Also: it seems Go Launcher also has some problems with YouTube's lag... the widget on Go Launcher lags to launch the video on the widget, while twlauncher doesn't have that (as much). Still has crazy device-locking lags though.
EDIT: Oh wow... it seems when I connect my phone to my PC it shows up as a corrupted disk... Windows is asking me if I want to fix the disk. Would that be the problem? And if it is, can I let Windows fix the disk?
I don't think I would let windows do that. It says corrupted or needs formatted?

Ok. Boot into odin and reflash cwm 5.0.2.6. Boot into cwm and format system, then data, the cache and dalvik cache. Repeat 3x. Flash stock through odin. Reboot, twice. Now reflash cwm and then flaah a rom and configure. I don't care what your problem is, that method is a guarantee fix lol

I did this, and I still had lag after restoring TiBu. Lol the look on my face when it happened
But turns out, the TiBu backup of Go Launcher was actually screwing many apps up (including YouTube)... dunno if it was a system issue, but it was the problem. Transitioned to ADW after a full wipe again (without ever launching go launcher) and all was good. Thanks guys.

Don't restore stuff across roms with TiBu. I only use it as a reference of the apps I had. So I always have a clean slate

Hi there. I currently am running the Legend 2 ICS Edition ROM for Infuse 4G. I just noticed there is a new update Legend 3 ICS. If I want to keep all my files and apps, do I just flash the Update file (instead of the Full Wipe file)? And do I need to go through the same process, clear cache, dalvik cache, etc.? Probably no need to wipe data and factory reset.
Any help is much appreciated! Thanks.

I suggest do a full wipe, if you want to keep your app, "tibu" titanium backup is great and well worth app, buy it...I did and worth every dime. IMHO Tibu will and can backup your apps and restore them.
So I suggest get tibu, backup your apps, do a full wipe install Leg3 go back to Gplay download/install tibu back on, then use the program to restore your apps only in this case.
Plus tibu can do a full backup of your data & apps, say you find your DD but want to test other ROMs, use tibu to backup data & apps, go test the another ROM, and want to come back to your DD ROM, you can then do a full data & app restore...plus there are lots of YouTube vid on Titanium Backup app.

You can do the update and keep your files, which is the reason for the update. Though, like Bigjoe says, a full wipe is always prefered, but not necessary.

The reason why everyone suggests a full wipe is so that you dont potentially run into any problems after the flash. ie flash not working, or camera wont load... little things like that that make it hard to narrow down problems. One of the main things people are going to ask is did you wipe before you installed? It helps to eliminate and remnants of left over roms so that you dont have any issues with the new rom. Its called a Bad flash.
I hope i answered your question!
Thanks for all the replies! So whether it is the full wipe ROM or the update ROM, both go through the same procedure of booting into CWM first? I will try Tibu for app backup! :good:
Stuck at blue loading loop
Hey, I am new so bare with me, I just flashed this rom onto my Infuse 4g and it seems to be restarting itself and looping to the Blue Android/Dust loading screen. It seems to fix with a fresh install of the rom, but shortly starts after everything seems fine. Please help!

Try doing an odin or hemdall back to stock with partitioning, then flash the full wipe rom.

So I've been using your latest release (full wipe Legend v3) and I did factory reset, clear cache and dalvik cache, fixed permissions, etc. The phone is occasionally laggy now, usually when I open web browser it would stay on the white screen a several seconds. Sometimes, when I open my phone, it would stay on the black screen even though I never turned it off and it still has battery. So I had to long-press the button to restart. I've already rebooted and shut down numerous times but these problems still persist.
Also, bluetooth doesn't work for me. When I enable it from settings, the "Turn bluetooth on" checkbox stays unchecked and does nothing.
Should I reflash again? I did to a Titanium Backup to restore apps and settings... Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

With any rom, you should be able to install More Locale 2 from the Play Store to get support for Turkish (and many other languages).

My bet is the tibu restore of your settings is what is causing the issues, I've had problems and have known others that had problems when restoring system settings with tibu, especially if the tibu backups were done on another rom.

I only started using tibu when I had Legend ICS v2 and then I immediately upgraded to v3 using the full wipe ROM. And then I restored all apps and settings. I'll try wipe and re-flash without restoring any settings in tibu. But honestly, I only wanted to backup my widget and screen settings (such as app shortcuts on home screens) but tibu didn't back that up.

I'm a noob so I don't know what those are. But I've only flashed ZEUS final and then Legend ICS v2 and v3. Full wiped and cleared cache on all those flashes.
I've reflashed to stock and then back to Legend 3 without restoring anything. It is all better now, very snappy. The bluetooth can be turned on now but for some reason, it doesn't detect my Jabra headset no matter how many times I scan. But it detects my Macbook Pro...
OK so i will start off by saying, I have looked EVERYWHERE for a solution. I have seen a couple that have worked for people but nothing will work for me. Everything was fine and working well until i was trying to show my mother-in-law how to go back and fourth from GO locker home screen to regular TW launcher. I went into my apps to clear my defaults but pushed clear data on accident. it took me to my homesceen and my status bar has disappeared. I have tried soft reset, factory reset backup restore and nothing will work to get my status bar back up. Anyone have any ideas on where to go from here? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

First up, please use the Q&A forum for questions. Hopefully my saying it now spares you some flames later. Second, we'll need some more information before we can really help you out. Have you updated to ICS, or are you still running GB? Are you running a custom ROM, and if so, have you changed or updated recently? Are you rooted? We need to know a little bit more about your setup before we can try to help.
Out of curiosity, have you tried installing a different launcher and seeing what happens?

But no I had not updated it since I had installed the ROM about 2 months ago. I had something similar happen to me after downloading an update to Sky 4.2F6. After installing a battery mod, my status bar and wallpaper went away completely. The only solution I found, unfortunately, was a full wipe, and I think that's what I'd try next in your shoes if playing with the launcher isn't working.

No, I'm talking back up your apps and data, reboot into recovery, backup your device, wipe user data, format /system, reinstall current/install new ROM, etc. There are lots of threads out there detailing what you'll need and how to do it safely. IIRC, the settings-menu factory reset only wipes user data. It won't solve app or system-related problems.
I think I recall an option hiding the bar somewhere, I'll look for it in a few hours. Meanwhile about your download launcher issue, if your trying to download by wifi try by data and vice versa. If this doesn't help go to setting>application and clear data for play store and service framework.
Go to go launcher settings>screen settings and make sure status bar is marked.

I wanted to post this in the BAKED thread in the developer section but I don't have enough poststo do it there, so hopefully someone here can help.
I just flashed crespo BlackBean 7 (BAKED) ROM (on my Nexus S) and inverted gapps. It seems to have installed properly but whenever I reboot I get a message that several processes have stopped such as YouTube and GMail, and when I go in to system settings -> storage I get a message saying "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped". I get that message every time consistently. I've tried re-flashing the ROM but to no avail. When I installed the ROM I wiped "Dalvik cache", wiped "Battery Stats" and wiped "Cache partition".
It appears I've not done something or done something wrong, so if anyone here can help I'd appreciate it.
Did you full wipe before installing the rom? That means factory reset/data wipe.

I did not do a factory wipe because the last time I did that I lost everything, even after using Titanium backup to back up all my apps first. When I tried to restore there was nothing there to restore. Is there a way to use Titanium backup so that after doing a full wipe I can still get my stuff back?

So I bit the bullet and did a full factory wipe, but I still get the "Unfortunately settings has stopped" error showing up. I wonder if it's a bug in the ROM.

Storage settings fc is a bug in the ROM. It will be fixed in the next version. You should not get fc for any other settings. Back to kill is faster than normal. Everything else works fine on bb7.

I saw the back to kill thing, someone else had mentioned it on the BAKED thread too. Thanks for the info on the fc.
I got another problem though, that made me revert to my previous ROM. I was about to put my phone away for the night and decided to do one more reboot, but it never went past the BAKED splash screen. Even after pulling the battery it wouldn't boot. Is this a known bug too? Or did something happen to my machine? After booting to recovery and re-installing my previous ROM, everything seems to be fine.
Any thoughts?

There isn't any boot issue with the ROM. If you decide to try this ROM again, try to do a clean install.
Boot into recovery, do a factory wipe, go to advanced & wipe dalvik cache, go to mounts & format /systems. Flash ROM & gapps, reboot.
