In recovery?
If you do Factory reset in bootloader it messes up your SD Card.
Boot into recovery
Select "Mount"
Connect device to PC via USB cable
Select "Mount USB Storage" in TWRP
On the PC, find the SDCard's drive in My Computer, right-click on it, and select "Format"
Proceed with formatting the SDCard ("Quick Format" is fine)
Safely remove the USB storage from Windows
Reboot

Was TWRP in ADB Sideload option?
Do you still have the drivers installed?

Do you have HTC Sync installed? Uninstall it.

To be on topic, the phone has no rom? Okay, Boot into fastboot then on CMD do "fastboot flash zip [name].zip"
i belive it was..
if not RUU, i belive that's better than having no rom

[Q] Bricked phone, please help!

Today I flashed the last CleanRom 5.1 then I flashed kernel BeastMode evita 4.4 and the phone has bricked in the screen of HTC. So I did a big mistake, in the bootlloader i am pretty sure I have wiped the phone, now I have no ROM in the phone, and the TWRP will not let me select mount sd card. I have thinking in push the ROM in ADB but sincerely I have no idea how to do that. Actually I´m in the bootloader screen and connected the phone, appearing "Fastboot USB". Could someone kindly tell me what are the orders in the Command Prompt to connect the phone to my pc and push the rom?
The phone was with CM10 ROM, rooted and TWRP provided by a friend who is not available to help me.
BTW sorry for my regular english, I´m from Argentina.

My First advice, relock bootloader and run ruu...If your on the newer hboot don't you have to flash boot.img as well before flashing the rom? Did you wipe cashe and dalvik when you flashed? Did you see if rom first worked before flashing kernel?

I'm sure someone will provide a ruu download based on your phone. Fastboot oem lock command in fastboot to lock bootloader. I would wait though to see if there is still a way to flash Rom and mount your phones sd card.by the way did you create a recovery in twrp of stock rooted version?
You dont need to RUU. I don't know why everyone runs to that.
Open TWRP, mount usb storage.
If you're on windows, it should prompt you to format your sd card. Format it to fat32.
Copy whatever rom you want onto the card.
Install in TWRP.

Hi, I still cannot solving my problem :/ I locked the phone with the command "fastboot oem lock" in fastboot. Then I downloaded a RUU called htc_one_x_RUU_2.20.502.7_att_us_08022012.exe and I´ve executed the file in fastboot but appears during the installation process an error message that the phone is not connected with the USB cable, when obviously connected.
I have no idea what to do, I tried to check the connections, right now I'm trying to download another RUU apparently compatible, my CID is 11111111 and my HBOOT is 1.09.0000. Can you think of anything else I can do?

Newer RUU version should still work, but avoiding the 1.14 hboot is a good idea. So I too would recommend getting the 1.85 RUU: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1670238
OP should make sure he has the latest HTC drivers installed on the PC, or try re-installing them. Also try a different USB port. I've seen more than a few times on here, where it was simple as the drivers or the USB port.

This happened to me and I was able to do
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img (using original recovery)
Then reboot into bootloader then fastboot
fastboot boot TWRP.img
Then, once you're in TWRP, you can just flash a rom
Hope it helps! I'm still kinda nooby w/ htc as I was with motorola forever! I got my phone 1 month ago so... yeah
Try it! I was hopeless but I just kept trying!
Good luck!

Also, that just means your battery is low.
Just charge the phone while in bootloader overnight.

[Q] AT&T HTC One X completely formatted, Need Help

Hi, I did a terrible mistake but i think it can be fixed
I rooted and installed TWRP (Recovery), after trying a few times to install CM10 and getting stuck on the CM10 loading screen for 30-35 minutes, i came to XDA and learned that i should wipe cache/dalvik/sys, and try again.
I did a mistake and wiped everything from my phone and i don't have any backups ... Using the TWRP i mounted my phone to my computer and added CM10.zip file to try again, but it still shows nothing in my SD Card while in TWRP.
I can reboot and go to recovery.
Can anyone suggest or help me with that?
Did you unmount your sd card after copying the ROM across?
PS. Questions go in the q&a section. I'll ask for this to be moved for you.

ohh,
so i tried downgrading the TWRP 2.6.3 to 2.6 through fastboot. It doesn't recognize my device when i connect it.
Its stuck on <waiting for the device> in CMD.
I connected the phone while it was OFF, didn't work, went to recovery and connected it, still didn't work.
The method i am using to downgrade:
1. fastboot getvar store
2. Connect the phone while its OFF
3. fastboot flash recovery c:/*directory*/*recovery name*.img
4. fastboot reboot

I'm not sure seeing as I don't really know what he's done. It looks like he's relocked your bootloader though. Why on earth did you let someone who has no idea what they're doing mess with your phone? I think you're better off returning the phone to stock and leaving it that way.

Hello! Something like that happened to me. I choose the option of "factory reset" into the phone first menu (not the TWRP menu) and it left useless the "SD CARD". In order to revert, you have to enter to TWRP menu, choose mount (I think), then choose mount SD and connect to PC. The PC will say that your card is not readable and you must format it to be read. Do it!, I did a fast format and it was enough. Then put in the phone memory (the just formated memory) the desireded ROM (I am using URdroid which is great). And enter TWRP again to flash the rom following the instructions for the choosen ROM. It will fix your problem.

Try a different OS like Ubuntu or Windows 7.
Also, if you have 4ext, choose mount USB from 4ext options, and format your sd card with your computer.
Format everything on the phone via 4ext and try reinstalling your Rom.
Back up stuff as you see fit.
Happy to help.

HTC Bricked?

So I think my HTC One X is bricked. It says "No OS" when I'm in TWRP. I downloaded the ViperXL ROM so I can install it again onto my phone but I can't transfer the files to my phone. When I connect my phone into my computer, it says there is no driver or the driver cannot be installed even though I already installed all the updated drivers for it. So is there anyway for me to get the ViperXL ROM on my phone so I can use it again? Thanks,
Your phone isn't bricked, if it powers on at all it isn't a brick. More information needed though. What are your bootloader details? Which recovery version are you using? Is the mount usb storage option in the recovery not working?

How do you not know which version it is? You flashed it to the device didn't you? It says at the top of the screen as soon as you enter TWRP. I also asked what your bootloader details are, I ask these questions because I need this information to help you, so I need you to answer them if you want help. So when you click the mount usb storage button (with the phone connected of course) does it not show up as a removable drive in Windows?

I did a factory reset in both. And the version is also v2.4.1.0. Thanks,
Ok, there's half your problem. Don't ever perform a factory reset from the bootloader because doing that in a modified Evita causes the sd card to become corrupted. The other half of your problem is your recovery version, TWRP 2.4.x and 2.5.x are buggy and shouldn't be used. Download TWRP 2.6 from here.
Put the file in your fastboot folder. Connect phone in fastboot mode, open command prompt from within fastboot folder, issue the following commands:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery "filename.img"
(the exact filename, minus the talking marks)
Code:
fastboot erase cache
Code:
fastboot reboot-bootloader
Now go into TWRP and select wipe, then advanced wipe, check sd card/internal storage and wipe it. Now try mounting it to your PC.

Okay thanks but how do I put that file in the fastboot folder if I can't get my computer to recognize my phone?

I tried uninstalling the HTC driver and then reinstalled it but it didn't work.
What method are you using to install the drivers? Where are you getting them from?

HTC Sync Manager from the HTC website. Are there any links you have for me to install?
There is a thread in our general section which has a download of only the drivers.

Okay so do I have to install the drivers and update it through the computer?
The drivers should already be the latest, so install them and connect your device.

So I found this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2217384
I just downloaded the "Updated on 6.6.13" files.
Ok, but just to note that you got those from the international One X Endeavoru forum. Is there any particular reason you were in that forum?

USB Storage mounting error

I can't mount the usb storage so i can put a rom on it from a computer. It says it's unable to find storage partition to mount to usb. I have no OS on there so I can't boot to anything. All I have is a recovery.
Why don't you just flash it with fasboot?

there you go:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=42407269
install adb+fastboot,
while are in the bootloader you are able to flash a recovery like clockworkmode, then reboot into recovery.
if you got the correct driver you should be able to connect to your moto g while in recoery with adb.
then you are able to push, adb push *.zip /directory, or adb sideload *anyrom*. (dont forget to use install zip/use sideload..)
enjoy.
