I am using Sony ericsson W8 with os Android 2.1 official ROM
Steps i have already followed:
1.I've Rooted mySE W8 sucessfully using superone click
2.Sucessfully installed busy box and root explorer in my phone
3.After that i've installed xrecovery v1.10 using root explorer
4.Backed up my current official ROM using xrecovery
Problem:
I cannot find a stable infact any customized android 2.2 rom for my phone to install using xrecovery.
I tried one cyanogen 2.2 rom made for SE X8
But it didn't worked on my cell.
Info. Required :
about a Stable 2.2 or 2.3 rom for SE W8.

u have to check for ur baseband version...like x8,only the version end with xxx.xxx015 will works..
Yes my phone's baseband ersion ends with XXXXX-XXXXXXXXX-XXXXXX15
Custom Rom for sony ericsson w8
is there a custom rom 2.2 or 2.3 that is compatible to use with Sony Ericsson W8, Ive tried some X8 rom but didnt work... hope you guys can help me for a working 2.2 or 2.3 rom for SE W8 thanks in advance...

I installed a rom named Zelly Cream by Gagan,my phone is sony ericsson mini pro ,locked bootloader,i followed all the steps.....after i installed the rom,my phone is stuck at the boot logo(SONY) please help!.

Maybe the rom is bad. It happens.
Did you use clockwork mod?
Maybe the problem is locked bootloader (although i've never had one).
Try with an older more stable verdion of the rom, if it works it means the rom you flashed is either unstable either the download was corrupted.
Also get clockwork mod if you already don't just download rom manager (official app) off the play store, it will mod your recovery mode in order to give you much more power and features over your phone when you're not inside android yet (useful for bricked states or bootloops such as yours)

Zelly cream rom is not compatible with your device.
You got stuck in bootloop.
Boot in to recovery mode and flash the stock rom.
Zelly Cream is compatible only for Xperia Arc, Arc S, Neo, Neo V, Pro and Ray
NOTE ABOUT PRO: IT IS SONY XPERIA PRO NOT SONY XPERIA MINI PRO. BOTH ARE DIFFERENT MOBILES.
you need flash official firmware with pc!and never use this rom
i had this rom in my xperia mini and untill now this rom run normally,but my device unlocked boot

zelly cream is also compatible with live with walkman .
It is awsome rom , smooth as butter but can anyone knows how to remove those bottom touch buttons

i have installed latest update on my xperia c using
sony pc companion but my s1 boot version is
2.14.J.0.68..and i want to install cwm or twrp but
they need latest s1 boot version can i update my
xc using .ftf file can it cause any damage.

Xperia C's bootloader cannot be unlocked,unfortunately it won't works.
You can flash the ftf,it won't cause any damage

Samsung's firmware not ftf or what..
And there's no way to flash uncompatible hardware files to a device.
Hi,
I need help on installing Carbon Kitkat ROM Beta 10 on my Sony Xperia S LT26.
Currently I've existenz v2 running in my mobile.
I've followed the instructions to root & unlock the bootloaders and everything is fine.
When I try installing ROM via CWM, it shows "this package is for LT26i". I hope mine is LT26 not LT26i
Please help how do I install rom.
