I just use the one of the early Doctor Who theme music pieces because my phone is a TARDIS and they work better as a ringtone than the newer ones.
I use Vivaldi's Spring I: Allegro as my morning alarm so I can wake up to something that isn't godawful and screeching, it also naturally gets louder as a piece of music - no need to simulate that with an app or fiddling around with the sound file.

Is there an app or option somewhere to make music play mono? I only use one bud at work and it would be nice to hear all the music. I Googled and only came up with dead threads with no answers.
On iPhone/iPod there was an option in accessibility for that. For the deaf and such. Just wondering if I overlooked it something.

I salvaged the files from when I had it installed on my vibrant and keep using them.
I use whatever cool sounding couple second blips I hear from songs. The one I currently have is a tiny snippet from the beginning of the bit trip runner game song "impetus"

Yes, the ICS has alot of sounds that sound interesting. Proxima for sms, Ta Da for everything else.
I have a random request. Could someone please download and install the game Pirates of the Caribbean: Master of the Seas on their Blaze? I am getting a crackling sound that sounds like a blown speaker whenever I click on anything in the game. It happens with both the external speaker and with headphones. I haven't noticed it on any other games, apps, music, etc.
I even took the phone back to the store and replaced it with a new one, but the same problem persists. I'm guessing it's this specific game, but wanted to see if one of you could verify it for me with your phone. Thanks in advance to anyone who can test this for me.

Ok. Thanks for testing for me. Yeah, that "selection" crackling is the same I'm getting as well. The background music sounds fine, but whenever you "click/select" a button in the game, the audio crackles.
I contacted their tech support and they suggested I try updating to the latest version of Android. Haha. I guess one day I may be able to see if that solves the problem.

Turns out their tech support was right. After updating to ICS, the audio crackling in the game is gone. Thanks again for testing for me.
Anyone use this app with their N5? O can't get any song to buffer and play.
On my HTC One (4.3) works flawlessly.

I'm an idiot. Found out prob is in setting need to go to song not playing and switch to V2.
On a side note i use Monster DNA over ear head phones. The HTC One is 2X louder than the N5. But for casual listening is just fine.
May need external amp for using with loud speakers. Not sure.

I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right place but I my phone keeps playing a song that I don't have in my music library every once on a while and the only way to shut it off is by muting the phone not the media volume.. and no music player nothing is opened... Some kinda adware? I'll try and get a logcat ASAP...
