[Q] HTC One X dual Atenna Wifi - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

hi everyone,
1. Does Htc One X have a built in dual antenna wifi ?
2. Is Dual antenna wifi a form of MIMO ?
Example of Dual Atenna wifi device is the Kindle Fire HD.
Dual Antenna wifi should not be confuse with dual band wifi.
The iPad 3 has a dual band wifi chip and it has a single atenna wifi while the Kindle Fire HD has a dual band wifi chip and it is also has a dual antenna wifi.

Quetion about Wi-fi and bluetooth

I am really interested to know is the wi-fi and bluetooth in phone using same module or there are 2 different devices inside phone one for bluetooth one for wi-fi ??
There will likely be 2 different chips handling those duties (likely 2 antennas as well), but they will likely be on the same circuit board.
most devices with qualcomm cpu's have wifi and bluetooth integrated into the cpu chip itself

[Q] Wireless-N on 5GHz Band?

Hi,
I did a search but received no hits. Does anyone know if the Transformer will work on a Wireless-N 5GHz band? I have a Linksys E3000 router setup at home using the stock firmware. I have Wireless-G setup on a 2.4GHz band for my Sony Dash and BlackBerry 9700. I have Wireless-N setup on a 5GHz band for my laptop and another router acting as a wireless bridge for my PS3. The reason I use 5GHz is because I was getting too much interference with the 2.4GHz band. There's a lot of construction in my area that disrupts my network if I use the 2.4GHZ band(determined through testing). I noticed the Motorola Xoom supports it, but haven't found anything for the Transformer.

Only 2.4Ghz wireless N
Sent from my Asus Decepticon using Tapatalk
As said only 2.4GHz which is a pretty big fail for Asus as even my Samsung Galaxy SII has it and its becoming the norm. I've now had to revert everything back as had it all setup for 5GHz. I just found I had far less signal drops on 5.

Try changing the channels on your 2.4 ghz settings to minimize interference.

I already tried that. I was running a Wireless-G network before, and no matter which channel I changed to, there was always interference. That was the primary reason why I upgrade to a Wireless-N network on 5GHz band. Although, I haven't tried Wireless-N on a 2.4GHz band yet. I might get around to giving it a try one day.

I just did some digging around and it turns out the TF uses the BCM4329 radio chip. According to the specs it should be able to support Wireless-N on a 2.4GHz and 5GHz band. I hope Asus enables 5GHz support in a future update. All we can do is wait and see I guess.

They probably never wired the trace on the pcb for the 5GHz, it also needs another antenna

5ghz WiFi?

Just ordered my TF... was wondering if it would be able to pick up 5ghz WiFi, or is it only capable of 2.4
Sent from my 1.5 GHz dual core beast.
See technical specs 2.4 only.
Wireless Data Network WLAN 802.11 b/g/[email protected]
Bluetooth V2.1+EDR
It's 2.4GHz only.
Wi-Fi Band
Mine wouldn't connect to my 5 GHz band router. Should have checked that before I bought it!

Question Anyone's 2x2 Wi-Fi working on their Stylus 5G 2021 or even Stylus 5G 2022 ?

Moto G Stylus 5G (2021) has Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G chipset. Here are the hardware specifications on the Qualcomm website, where it clearly says that 2x2 MIMO is supported.
I have not been able see more than 433 Mbit/s when I connect to any 802.11ac routers on 5GHz, regardless of what I try. My old Moto Z2 Force connects at 866 Mbit/s (866 = 2x433), and when I use my Lenovo T420 with Broadcom BCM4362 Wi-Fi (3x3), I'm able to connect at 1300Mbit/s.
There's no neighboring WAPs with signal interference, and even if I turn all my other Wi-Fi devices off, reboot my router. The most I can see if 433Mbit/s.
There's a Magisk module that supposedly fixes this. I also tried that to no avail.
Anyone else having better luck?
Both the '21 and '22 models of the G Stylus 5G only support 1x1 WiFi.. Depressing, I know, but it just doesn't have the second antennae to support 866 Mbps.
Try this modual if your rooted
