Hi There!
Would someone be able to point me in the direction of a good quality cradle with USB and AC Adapter that includes the ability to charge another battery. Needs to be a good fit, and not flimsy.
I see a lot of the cradles on ebay state the AC Adapter is simply for charging the second battery, but I want one that charges the galaxy with the ac adapter as I believe it should be faster than USB?
Thanks in Advance.

I have some exp., and I have found it on first try on ebay. Try to search for "galaxy crandle charger"
I did the same, there are many nice crandles, some of them comes with aditional batteries as a bonus.
So don't be lazy
Here are two nice crandles, first ones that appeared on ebay after giving "galaxy crandle charger" search into it:

Lol, I see Virnik0 either didn't understand or read your question fully.
Anyway, I have bought a similar one to second dock he linked, it seems it only charges the phone via usb and the battery via the wall charger. Hope that helps.
@Virnik0 The OEM dock is for the Epic 4G which has a keyboard and is thicker than the i9000. As far as I understand the Vibrant version fits better.

Sorry for the simple question, but I'm having trouble getting a simple answer.
What wireless charging does the S3 support? Do I have to buy the wireless charging kit that Samsung provides?
I just can't seem to find a simple answer whether the S3 supports the Qi standard or not.
Thanks.
There isn't but I believe you can do some modding to it to get it to work with the palm wireless charger? Idk, Google it or search on xda.

The Verizon galaxy s3 has two sets of contacts to support wireless charging, but the back cover that ships with the phone doesn't have the induction coil.
Verizon sells a back cover that does support wireless charging and uses one set of those contacts that are Verizon specific. I believe I read that this follows the qi standard and that people were buying charging pads from energizer.
Samsung will also eventually still their own wireless charging kit.

I use the LG charging pad from Verizon with my S3. You do have to get the Charging back though. And yes it uses the Qi standard.
Ah, so it does use Qi.
Thanks for the answer guys.
Impressive on wireless charging of Lumia 920 and hope my new mate GS4 could also support the advanced features, and it's better if there are some wireless charger for GS4 as well...

Samsung Galaxy S4 will support wireless charging. And a the wireless charger will cost $59.99. The charger is said to hit stores in April.
The i9500 has extra connections for both NFC and wireless charging, only the i9502 or may be service provider models such as sprint or verizon may have them removed.
Will the wireless charging enabled battery cover (which will be required alongside the charging pad) add much (if any?) thickness to the phone?

I think it's best to wait for the actual release of the phone first, as the wireless charging has not been officially released or confirmed yet for the s4

Found an answer to my question here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OKgeZPyiHo
If it has the Qi standard, I think Lumia and N4's wireless charging dock might also work for GS4.

maybe it will support gs3 too.
(that sounds great)
Does anyone have an update on the Qi charging accessory? I haven't seen it available online anywhere.
This is what I found in a local hong kong magazine.
top price for transmitter, and bottom price for the receiver battery cover.
I bought a Palm pixie charging kit for my S3. Since the phone got stolen late last year, I still got the kit unused.
Gonna try it on the S4!

I'm really starting to worry about the wireless charging accessories for the S4.. Mentioned quite a bit in the leadup to device release, then suddenly quiet.. Deja vu - the exact same thing happened with the S3, and there's still not an official wireless charger available for that.

In some mobile accessories online shop I did see it, for example the PhoneHouse does sell it now since the launching day of the phone. At least in the Spanish PhoneHouse Shop

Sorry for the gap from the url, new in the forum.
I've been reading the threads as far as people trying to find a wireless charger set for the Galaxy Note Edge. I found a link of a seller based in South Korea where they have them in stock. I ordered mine this morning.
I can't post any links since I don't have more than 10 post but attached a screenshot in the Word document attached.

OUCH that is pricey... This one is cheaper...
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge Wireless Charging Battery Back Cover S Charger Genuine
His includes the charging base. It's not a bad deal if you want the Qi base to be OEM. If you have another base already then just buy the cover.
I would love to get one of these but that then leads to the question of compatible cases...
I'm waiting for Flip Wallet with charging back.
I am also looking for the same. It is however too expensive for just being a wireless charging battery cover. Can someone confirm if this wireless charging cover is compatible with new wireless "fast charge" pads/stands from Samsung. I mean is it rated to utilize the fast charging capability or will it charge at the normal speed even at a fast charging pad.

As far as I know, fast wireless just depends on whether the base and the charger at the wall are fast chargers.
Either way, the battery and the coil don't care.
I've seen more than a few questions arise about certain wireless chargers and restrictions, but don't worry. My wife has the Mophie wireless charging case and charging pad for the iPhone 7+ and the built wireless charging on the S8+ is compatible both with and without a case. So for anyone spending extra for a specific wireless charging package keep it simple it works!
It may not work with every FAST wireless charger... I have 6 that I used withe S7 Edge that worked great, but 4 of them do not work with the S8+ for no obvious reason....
link to the one you have....Also are you using your supplied cable?
I got the RooRoo (stupid name) on amazon for $21 and it's been working fine with my S8+. Got it for the S7E originally. Supports fast charge and doesn't have any trouble. Phones in a case and the charger is only tall enough to touch just below the camera.
Edit: I do both technically. If I need to use my phone or I am at work, I tend to just have a corded charger I use. Else wise I use the wireless stand.

happen to have a link for that charger? and how thick is the wifes iphone 7 case? im getting the poetic revolution case for my s8 and wondering if that will work. lol, this case doesnt look to be near as thick as the poetic one for my lg g4...but never tried wireless with it.
thank you
I noticed that the battery temperature hits 38 degrees C when wirless charging (both on fast and normal) while not exceed 26 C in weird non fast charging, ambient temp was 19 C in all cases.
Will the higher battery temp during wirless charging degrade the battery? Does anyone know?

.. look up Mophie wireless charging base for iPhone7+ on Google I'm not allowed to post links yet per the site

I have the s8+ she has the ip7+ hers is a charger case but her wireless charging pad from the Mophie charging brand works fine through my spigen case
I received my Samsung Wireless Fast Charger yesterday in the mail. Man, I LOVE this thing! 1st time using Wireless charging, I didn't know what i was missing....
Works just fine through my Spigen Neo Hybrid case on my S8+
I got 2 of the Elephas fast charge wireless stands for my S8+ and my wife's S8.. They don't work much at all, despite their positive reviews.. When using the adapter the came with the phones, they continue pause charging every second, until the phone gives up and says it's not compatible. If I plug them into a iphone adapter or a pc via usb, they charge but still randomly stop sometime through the night. Usually in the 80%'s.. Going to try different chargers..

I got a cheap as chips wireless charger from Ebay, £5.99, Not fast charger, but works perfectly, stops charging when battery is full, got my supplied charger if i want to fast charge but for just general use sitting next to my laptop i love it. Can just pick the phone up and use it then lay it back down and it'll stay topped up. Was thinking of the official Samsung one.......glad i didn't
I have no idea why one would spend 1,000€ on a device then skimp on a 40-50€ Samsung charger? Like buying a Merc' or BMW etc then using xxxx 40€ seat covers or floor mats.
With all the controversy regarding the subject of third party chargers be they wall or wireless for the small financial difference I always go for the Samsung branded accessories. Typically me though, not all the same are we?

Lol, I hear you. Now behave yourself lol, you can't be THAT skint to purchase the S8+ :highfive:
This is a tough debate. Numerous threads on XDA cover this point and so many owners have damaged their mobiles using third part chargers. At the very least take a very careful look at the specs on any third party charger and ensure they are identical to the charger that came in the box, even then there can be problems though? Its a gamble.
Please look after yourself and your mobile eh?

Easy to purchase when you have been on mobile contracts for donkeys years
The rating on my supplied charger says output is 5v - 2.0a and the wireless says 5v - 1000ma
Been wirless charging since the note 3 days.
