Hey guys, I just wanted to share with you about this screen protector it's the Benks HSR protector. Now i have been through allot of protectors and allot of them advertise that they are anti finger print and oil repellent but, they end up being in the garbage within a few days due to then having scratches, fades etc. Now i decided to order these Benks HSR protectors and when i first got them and open the package i can tell this is a serious protector! The amount of things that came with this protector is crazy! Let me list what came with it!:
-Detail Instructions (i mean detailed!)
-Back/Front protectors
-Lens protectors
-Electrostatic dedusting film
-Dedusting cleaning film
-Screen cleaning suit (wipes and cloth)
-Replacement pull tag
-Installation Auxiliary Knob
-Bookmark (lol)
Installation was kinda hard because, the XZ is a dust magnet but, once it was on and settled it looked great! Now for functionality, let me say this protector is smooth, super smooth! Then came the finger print test, nothing! and even if there was, it was one swipe on the shirt and it's gone! Same thing with oil residue a couple swipes on the shirt, gone! Price? Amazing $10 for the amount of stuff you get it's great!
This is one of the screen protectors that actually advertised the functions and is true! Do i recommend it? HELL YEAH!!! Matter of fact, getting another two just in case!
I will update in a week and let you guys know this one is a long term protector! but, for now IMO best solution for smooth, anti finger print, oil resistance on the CHEAP! Link is below!
UPDATE!!!
I have had these protectors for 2 months and they are showing a bit of wear. I have done everything to the screen protector.Had showers with the phone, washed phone with soap, went fishing with it lol the only wear on it was there was scratch marks on it but, were there because, I put it in a zip lock bag and a bit of sand got inside the zip lock so, the minerals scratched the protector. Overall very happy with this protector w/o it i would sell this phone! (that's how annoying that dust and fingerprint issue was!!!) I have 2 more packs that's how much i love them!!!

I've just ordered one, didn't want to pay the obscene cost for the sgp glass. This sounds like a nice middle ground. Will update when I get it.

awsome!! thanks again , Just ordered mine from the obostore should reach in a week..
Thanks mate for the review, I am getting really annoyed with the standard screen protector, the worst I have seen for finger prints. I was looking at the glass one, and would have purchased that product if every review bar one said that it blocked the proximity sensor. It's a lot of money if it causes failures of the phone for the sake of them having a cutout.
Will order one of these.

I mean its gorilla glass 3...
Obviously it scratches but not that easy I've heard and every screen protector I've used diminishes the screen, I had a Zagg HD on this and took it off cause the ridiculous haze it has.
I hate screen protectors and cases.. I always carry my devices naked (the phone not me)..
Never had an issue thus far but I am very careful with my devices..
I have a spigen ultra crystal and I cant even tell it's on. I didnt have screen protector on my s2 and it had a few deep scratches and that was all I looked at, I couldnt stand it so im not going to take a chance especially with a screen like this

Hmm, yeah the Zagg absolutely sucked.im thinking about getting a glas.tr slim
I currently have this one: http://www.amazon.com/Moshi-iVisor-...-2-catcorr&keywords=moshi+ivisor+xt+galaxy+s4
and am extremely happy with it. doesn't diminish quality at all. I may get the glass.tr slim and compare the two, but so far I love the moshi ivisor xt
my only gripe with it is that it is a dust magnet at first, but I'm a week in and haven't had any issues with that since the first day or two, so it may have been some static electricity or something
I am SUPER careful with my phones... and I understand the gorilla glass 3 is even more scratch resistant... but I only dropped my galaxy s3 one time, from a height of less than 2 feet onto tile, and it still left a nasty scratch right in the center.
I learned my lesson... I got the ghost-armor screen protector for the s4. Very impressed... they do an awesome job of putting it on for you as well, not a single imperfection!

I have the flipview cover and it still closes perfectly, so in my book yes! :good: but something that some may not enjoy is the white of the frame is a slightly different white than the phone
I had a screen protector on my phone and I happen to have this line on the LCD screen under the glass with no scratch to the glass, haven't been dropped and no pressure indication.
And now I have no display on the screen. ... would I be good with warranty being I had the phone for 4 days?

It really depends on how anal you are about scratches. All smartphones, regardless of their glass, have a thin oleophobic coating on them. Its ehat gives the glass that nice, slipper feeling and what makes it easy to clean with just a swipe. This coating gets scratched relatively easily, but the scratches are really only visible when light is reflected on the screen at certain angles. If you care about these kind of scratches, id say get a screen protector. I posted a thread here noting micro scratches on an S4 demo unit that was only a few days old.
Having said that, if you wear earings with precious stones or have a gf/bf that does....get a screen protector! They will ruin your phone. I had the sapphire face on my watch scratched because it came in contact with my girlfriends diamond ring while walking side by side. If you work outdoors, or are a beach bum, get a screen protector for sure as well. A bit of sand on your fingers or shirt can scratch the phone it you swipe it or try to clean it on a your shirt. I personally think its better safe than sorry.....wrap it up son
Don't have a head full of gas. Cover your glass

Promised to do a review on this screen protector, so paulo this one's for you. Haha. Well I've had this screen protector on for about 4 weeks now, and I absolutely love it. I would definitely recommend it, especially for those on a budget. A $5.95 well spent.
Pros:
Dry application
Precise cut outs
Great touch responsiveness (Swyping with this bad boy is a breeze.)
No fingerprints
No smudges
Better visibility in sunlight
Looks sexy lol
Cons:
Took me 2 out of the 3 protectors to get it on right, or without bubbles. Maybe I'm just not good at that.
Screen quality degradation (This is expected with a anti-glare/matte screen protector. There is some pixelation, which is really noticeable on white backgrounds.)
You can but it HERE.
Pictures that took me forever.

Thanks for the review. I already ordered mine and just wanted to check out some more images of it. Out of curiosity, what case are you using? Also is there a notice gap between the protector and the lip of the case? The first few images make it seem like it, but the rest make the gap appear small.

I'm guessing you are taking about the difference between this picture of the screen protector:
vs
Well there are two reasons.
1. I didn't apply the screen protector perfectly. You can also see the little bubbles created by dust left on the screen. So I took it off, and tried again.
2. Two different cases. I doubt this affects it, however, considering I switch the cases out per week and the gap between the screen protector and the case doesn't increase or shrink.
I have two cases. The white one the Mercury TPU Nexus 4 case(comes in many different colors), and the black one is the Acase Superleggera Pro Hybrid dual layer Nexus 4 case(also comes in different assortments).
I'm also using this screen protector and I love it too, great price ya can't go wrong with these. ????

I bought this screen protector 3 months ago but never used it, as it looks like a hassle to apply if it takes going through most of them to get one that is applied properly. I just kept the stock plastic protector on mine; maybe after that gets destroyed I will give it a try.

its pretty simple just be quick, and i would day do it in the restroom, less dust in the air. always works for me.
I've installed countless screen protectors for me and friends. For the wet ones, you definitely want to be in a steamy bathroom as that helps settle the dusts. The dry ones, need to be done quickly. You can slip a small piece of tape between the screen and the screen protector to grab some of the dust. The stickiness of the tape beats the static force created by the protector. Not sure of its technical name.
My silliest method was to put the phone in the middle, on top of a fan blowing air upwards. That way it created a space where dust will not be. It worked perfectly.

I mean, I guess there is. But to notice the bubbling you would have to nitpicking or looking in with a magnifying glass (not really). I'd say the bubbling on the side is about .25 cm from the edge. Really slight, and with my case on you can't notice it.
Slightly off topic, but what case is that on your N4 OP?

I found this Tempered Glass Screen Protector, I want to know whether you guys have even better recommendation before I order one.
Please show me a link and share yours. Will appreciate any help.
Please search before making a new thread. This thread will help you as far as where to order them. I have used zagg invisible shields for 3 years I really loved them but they seem to not last very long. So I switched to tempered glass. Couldn't be happier with it. Agree! Damn anti glare just makes the phone screen looks so grainy. So what if clear screen protectors has some fingerprints and reflection on it when the anti glare sp already just destroyed the whole image of the screen anyway.

just bought 2 myself
Received the Glass screen , Very impressed !!!
Before buying the glass protectors I was using a tempered glass I bought off eBay which claimed to be just 3 mm. The quality was pretty nice, but the issue I have with the eBay one was that it was too thick and got easily smudged up and the screen was not easy to clean. The corners were cut very well but:
The I received the one from Xtremeguards and WOW: the quality is incomparable, for much cheaper I got a much thinner screen protector which fits perfectly on the screen, its very nicely cut, rounded on the corners, and it doesn’t get smudgy at all, very clear and easy to clean.
Their customer service is top notch as well, I would certainly recommend these glass protectors at this price
Thnx OP. Ordered mine off of Amazon.

After prepping the screen, the screen protector installed just as easily as the high dollar kind. All cutouts are perfect and I'm liking the rounded edges. Also feels very smooth to the touch.
So far I'm very impressed.

Just barely goes over the home button. It's almost smooth across it.

Thanks. I've got the glass on order. Was too cheap not to try out.

I actually had the Luvvitt glass screen protector and messed up the application, so I got the XtremeGuard one instead. I really can't tell the difference between the two except for the cutout. As far as feel goes, they feel the exact same to the touch. I don't think it's too thick: I kind of like my home button recessed with the screen protector. Definitely with the $6. Might get a backup too.
For LG G5, I think the screen protector is good choose than case.

I think that a good screen protector is always an impotent accessory for any smartphone. If I buy LG G5 I'll definitely get a Tempered Glass Screen Protector

I bought one Yootech glass screen protector for my Nexus 5X,but there is one air bubble. So I try another brand, looks great and feels good.
I used the Yootech for G4 and it's pretty great, hopefully this one works well too
Has anyone recieved one of these yet that has the top bit of the phone covered as well? I'm wondering how it interacts with the curve at the top. Thanks.

i wonder what will happen to the bottom, uncovered by the glass, battery part.
thick plastic housing over metal will definitely be sratched badly in first month of use.

I'm returning an item just like this (different vendor) as the adhesive is just around the borders and top.
The adhesive is weak and in my case it was not aligned properly to the "glass" so you could see it covering some parts of the screen.
The middle have no adhesive whatsoever and it does not make contact with the phone screen. This causes the protector to flex and each tap/touch on the screen feels like using an old phone with plastic screen.
One last thing: it is a fingerprint magnet and very reflective.

Dang, that sucks. I'll definitely be needing tempered glass, and this is one reason I'm leaning toward the G5—Edge owners are having a devil of a time finding a good one for themselves.
Please post pics of the Yootech.
I'd be really surprised if there's a tempered glass protector that is already correctly designed for the curve at the top. As in, Will it stay stuck? In the past whenever I've had a curved glass phone it's usually months after its release when a company finally designs a true curved TGSP. I hope I'm wrong because I have a Yootech on the V10 and it's great! (Them not making one for the S7 yet might be a sign as to why this was pulled from Amazon).
I settled for a cheap square one for now [Omoton on Amazon].

It is too expensive in my opinion.Less than $10 is OK.
I'm cautious of anything that claims to cover curved glass. This is just based off of my past purchases.
