Are there any good big widgets that shows the current news sort of like the flipboard one except that it auto scrolls every couple of seconds?

The only thing I miss about Sense is the 'News' widget where I had all my RSS feeds plugged in and had a full screen widget that would scroll. Haven't found anything close to this anywhere else. If that's too much I'd even take one that didn't scroll..maybe list the headline and maybe a short summary, 4 or 5 on the widget, then hit a button to go to the next screen with 4 or 5 headlines.. clicking on them opens up the story. There are plenty of RSS apps but none with decent widgets. Anyone want to do this? I would think there'd be some demand for this..

I'm by no means well-versed in weather apps as I'm only starting to play with them, but these are my observations so far. Accuweather has nice icons that I like but keeps force closing on me. Hope that will be fixed soon. Genie news and weather is good too, you can choose to display just weather.
Beautiful Widgets is my choice. Fully customizable with downloadable skins for Clock, Weather, Battery widget, and Toggle Widgets.
Press the weather area and it will launch your choice of Weather App *I use WeatherBug Paid (I try to support if its a mainstay)* the Radar can be slow though but it works..
Press the Time spot and will launch you choice of Clock or Alarm. *I use Gentle Alarm*
Press the Date area and will launch your choice of Calendar. *I use Jorte*
All of that is customizable. For instance if you wanted to you could config it to launch Angry Birds on press of any of above or any other app or shortcut of your choosing.
I love the Animated Weather effects. though last week during Snowpocylpse here is Chicago area I thought the drifting was a bit overkill... LOL
I'm just wondering if anyone has similar problem as me. I got a weather widget that disappears. It's still taking up space but is invisible. How do I know this you say? Well when you hold your finger over an empty space, it pops up the app screen in which it allows you to place shutcuts and widgets or set wallpaper. But if you place your finger on a location with an icon or widget you are able to move it.
The invisible widget area won't do anything but a reboot usually makes it reappear. I've even force close the app of the widget and still does nothing.
The widget I'm having problem with is weatherbug widget. I don't like the how the stock widget is taking so much space. And I don't need duplicate information on my screen. I just want an accurate weather and some other weather information. I don't need the city and date and time...I have time on the bottom right corner already and calendar widget shows date already. Why does weather widgets want to show you unnecessary information? And a lot of them aren't accurate. But this weatherbug is OK app, I usually do not like weatherbug on PCs but the android app is not annoying.
I had that with CNN widget, it's only happened twice, but still a bit weird
They're called zombie widgets, and you can clean them up using an app called elixir.

So i've been using APW for ages, but i've grown tired of the sluggish widget and old-ish user interface (as well as a recent bug on my s4 that shows a blank page when opening tweets).
I've been looking for another app with a combined & scrollable facebook & twitter widget and have come up short. I have tried these:
Hootsuite: Looks really nice, but only seperate Facebook & Twitter widgets (Same widget, but i can only select either fb or twitter)
Seesmic: Just a 4x1 widget and seperate twitter & facebook.
Scope: No widgets at all.
Anyone got any other suggestions?
I am in the same situation and found Wizz Widget but even the Pro version (which I bought over Amazon) doesn't work reliable and the developer doesn't respond.
I would like to see another alternative.

Looks like the same problem I had with the U11 - when you set News & Weather as the charging Screen Saver, it only displays the news and weather from last time you manually accessed the Google News & Weather app. This morning, my phone was showing news and weather from 3 days ago (the screensaver displays the news elapsed time).
Am I missing something simple here? I don't usually use the Google News & Weather app, but the screensaver doesn't give you a choice (besides Photos). This issue seems to be independent of the news & weather info displayed by Google Home.
