Hello Guys!
I have an Asus Transformer Pad 300 WiFi.
http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=3364&c=asus_transformer_pad_300_wifi__eee_pad_transformer_prime_tf300t
I am not happy with the keyboard. Slow, does not respond quickly enough to.
Can you recommend me something different price / performance ratio better?
Thank you so much!:good:

I guess you could try a bluetooth keyboard if you didn't like the dock.

Thanks. I have already tried, but it was not convincing to me.

So you tried both the bluetooth dock and the OEM dock?

Why not use one of these? I use it all the time when I'm in hotels that don't have wireless.

Works perfectly, 40Mbps. (speedtest)

The dock belongs with the tab. It's a fully functional one. (even to navigate.)

The screen is matched only by the Retina display. Best Android screen on the market. We've had 4 or 5 updates so far, including JB as one of the first non-Google companies.

I have some friends that work for the government and their in the same boat as you. They aren't even allowed to use wireless when their traveling and it's available.
Thanks for this, sounds good. Only thing left to work out is line in then i guess, if someone could test this for me it would be really helpful. Its the last piece of the puzzle i think.
One other question, i take it the only "pairing" the tablet does with the keyboard is just being plugged in? The reason i ask is that if i buy a couple of tablets and keyboards (me and the mrs) can we just swap the keyboards round without any pairing faff?

As far as I know, you can interchange the docks. There's a driver for it installed in Android from the start. There's no personalized settings or anything stored in the dock itself. Plug and Play.

If you are located outside the US in Europe this would be your answer.
If you're a US user then your stuck with the complex USB adapter scenario it seems.
perfect, that actually looks just what im after, simple easy and with cat5 in built. shame it doesnt have line in then it really would be ideal!
edit: just need to find someone that will actually supply it to me now!
So, I'm in possession of a Bamboo Pen tablet, I can't find a way to get it to work when I plug it into the USB port on the dock, anybody got this to work before? Just wondering. Thanks!

I think you would need a specific driver for that. It works on Ubuntu, so they might have an open source driver?

No open-source driver that I know of, It's natively enabled on ubuntu.
Hello,
After the update to JB 4.2, my dock is recognized by tablet, the charging process work well, but the keyboard is dead! Even if I change the settings, made a cold reboot or Wipe data, the situation is the same!
I made the update without dock, but I don't think that is relevant.
The tablet was never rooted.
Seems to be a hardware problem? Can be a coincidence with the update to 4.2?
Thanks,
Any suggestion please?
Maybe try a full wipe and reinstall. It sounds like you followed the same process i did. My keyboard is working similarly to how it did before the upgrade, occasional missed keystrokes and all. In fact I'm typing you this on my TF700 keyboard as the cooling fan on my laptop is currently dead.
Out of curiosity, do you know if you have the actual TF700 keyboard or one of the 300 versions that are supposed to be floating around out there?

Duh, that's what I meant, sorry for any confusion. I think I identified mine as one of the newer TF700 keyboards. It's possible that could be the problem.
Had anyone tried any gaming controllers? Which one did you try? How did it work?
I'm strongly considering the PowerA Moga Pro and wanted to get some opinions before I took the plunge.
I say go for a brother. I've been looking for one as well. If you get yours before anybody else responds, definitely write your review!

Check my connectivity thread...
I've tried over USB OTG these: PS3, XBoX 360 for Windows, Logitech F310 and F710, Moga Pro. All work.

I definitely plan to share what I come up with. This device is way too powerful to just talk about cases and screen protectors all day.

I don't have one to try. The only problem I see with using it is where to set the phone when you're using it.

This works very well http://buy.thegameklip.com/
So I just ordered a gameklip. Will post review when it arrives.
I know I've seen this before, but the search returns nothing.
Does the keyboard for the TF201, or Tf300 work on the Tf700? Which is best?
Thanks,
lmm

Tf201 is exactly the same keyboard. 300 fits but is sized thicker.
