What the heck is going on with XDA app - General Topics

I haven't been able to access my threads since yesterday? Is the android app broken or what

And here I was aboug to start a new thread on this. At least I scrolled through pages lol. Any idea of what's happened?

All are unable to search any thing on tapatalk.
They disabled Tapatalk search
specifically. The reason is that
their database is too large and
Tapatalk's search can slow
down the entire forum with a
single search.
I don't see a quick solution
unless Tapatalk modifies their
app to handle search
differently.
So use browser instead.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

So just saying that xda ap is down doesn't make any thing..
Please use browser for just now(fast browsers like opera,uc web etc..).
Later lets see whether there will be any news from tapatalk and xda app developers...

The XDA app is built off of Tapatalk. So if one has an issue then both will have it. IF you need the search function then use a browser. Searching on a site this big will always cause issues on a mobile app.

It's not just a search problem. Xda app keeps 'forgetting' my participated threads, subscribed topics and doesn't correctly go to last read message..

Search is disabled for the apps at the moment. As already stated. If you need to search for something use a browser.

I just seen a mod close a thread about the search function not working and he said please follow the rules and use the search function next time LOL no offense to the mod I'm sure they have to say that but it just made me laugh

You bought the app as is and the app was made to view the forum. Which you can still do. Not sure why you feel entitled to anything to begin with. With a site this big there are bound to be issues when trying to work on a mobile app. We are a developers forum first and foremost.

Tapatalk on iPhone and iPhone forums

I have buy a full version of Tapatalk, and I think that is great! But every time I try to access on iPhone section, It redirect to web page and notify me that iPhone section is iPhone native and suggest to buy a full version of Tapatalk... So? All iter forums sections are ok... Any suggest??
.:Tapatalk for iPhone:.
No suggests?
.:Tapatalk for iPhone:.
The iPhone forum is actulally seperate from the xda forum, so by clicking the iPhone section, Tapatalk registers that as clicking a link to a new webpage, to access the iPhone forums on Tapatalk try searching up iPhone developers.

Ok I got it, on Tapatalk search for a new forum and type in iPhone-developers. You should get your result. Remember to click the thanks button if this worked for you.

xda on mobile so slowwww

Xda great butttt. Might be the slowest site on the net from my phone. Once in awhile pages load ok buttt. I can watch a half hour show faster than load 1 page here.

Why use the website when there is such a brilliant app available - even better if you actually contribute by buying the paid version.
blame sprint.
Are you seriously accessing the site from your mobile browser rather than using the Tapatalk app?

Posting warez links is against the rules of xda. And to be honest posting the link to go and get the xda premium app for free on xda is just dumb...thread cleaned

No, you don't NEED to buy. I paid for the app in order to help support XDA as it has given so much to me.
Sent from the darkest corners of my mind.
you could just use opera mini if you dont want to use tapatalk. xda loads very fast with that browser

Tapatalk 2

Does anyone have info about how to get the tapatalk program and how to install it for this forum?
Just download Tapatalk from the market and use the search feature to find the xda forum. It's a pretty easy app to use.
VZW Galaxy S3 via Tapatalk
You mean how to get the app? If so just go to the play store and search tapatalk. Once you get it open it and search "xda" in the search box. The forum will pop up and will prompt you to login.
Edit:^^^^^ beat me to it. Haha.

How's the xda one? can it be used on other forums or just xda. Which one would you say is better.
It can be used just for XDA. Tapatalk can be used for all forums. I personally just have the XDA HD app cause all the other forums I visit are messed up on tapatalk.

MODERATOR?

I want to know where are the mods. I tried contacting all the mods for this forum and 24hours past and no single reply.
I am asking a serious question because i am using a keyboard modded by a user here on xda calles medoooooo which was recently banned. I want to know if it is SAFE to use his keyboard? Can someone from the devs check it and does the ban have to do with that?
Here is the link of the keyboard

It's the wrong section for that. Maybe they're too busy for this. If he was banned because of this keyboard, don't you think the download links would have been taken down?

As a general rule the moderators will not discuss any actions that we may take. This is to protect every one's privacy.
I can say that if we find malware of any type posted on xda that we will remove it as quickly as possible.
Thanks!
