Xda great butttt. Might be the slowest site on the net from my phone. Once in awhile pages load ok buttt. I can watch a half hour show faster than load 1 page here.

Why use the website when there is such a brilliant app available - even better if you actually contribute by buying the paid version.
blame sprint.
Are you seriously accessing the site from your mobile browser rather than using the Tapatalk app?

No, you don't NEED to buy. I paid for the app in order to help support XDA as it has given so much to me.

you could just use opera mini if you dont want to use tapatalk. xda loads very fast with that browser

Get ttorrent on the market, you can use it to download torrents. Better stock up before SOPA/PIPA/ACTA are passed.

If you want to be legit about it, you could go for Hulu and shell out the $10 or $15 for membership.

Either download tTorrent and download using .torrent files or Netflix I do both... Don't always have the best reception so its nice to have a few shows/movies on the SD

And that just means they'll get shut down even faster. The bigger they are the easier the target for anti-piracy.
i had issues with ttorent, Red Torrent (even Light version), yielded better results. integrated torrent site searching.

if u don't like adds then buy premium otherwise stop complain.
Ads are cool if the adfree version is 1.99 and xda can cover server costs because of such income sources.

Does anyone have info about how to get the tapatalk program and how to install it for this forum?
Just download Tapatalk from the market and use the search feature to find the xda forum. It's a pretty easy app to use.
VZW Galaxy S3 via Tapatalk
You mean how to get the app? If so just go to the play store and search tapatalk. Once you get it open it and search "xda" in the search box. The forum will pop up and will prompt you to login.
Edit:^^^^^ beat me to it. Haha.

How's the xda one? can it be used on other forums or just xda. Which one would you say is better.
It can be used just for XDA. Tapatalk can be used for all forums. I personally just have the XDA HD app cause all the other forums I visit are messed up on tapatalk.

All are unable to search any thing on tapatalk.
They disabled Tapatalk search
specifically. The reason is that
their database is too large and
Tapatalk's search can slow
down the entire forum with a
single search.
I don't see a quick solution
unless Tapatalk modifies their
app to handle search
differently.
So use browser instead.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Please use browser for just now(fast browsers like opera,uc web etc..).
Later lets see whether there will be any news from tapatalk and xda app developers...
The XDA app is built off of Tapatalk. So if one has an issue then both will have it. IF you need the search function then use a browser. Searching on a site this big will always cause issues on a mobile app.
It's not just a search problem. Xda app keeps 'forgetting' my participated threads, subscribed topics and doesn't correctly go to last read message..

You bought the app as is and the app was made to view the forum. Which you can still do. Not sure why you feel entitled to anything to begin with. With a site this big there are bound to be issues when trying to work on a mobile app. We are a developers forum first and foremost.

I want to know where are the mods. I tried contacting all the mods for this forum and 24hours past and no single reply.
I am asking a serious question because i am using a keyboard modded by a user here on xda calles medoooooo which was recently banned. I want to know if it is SAFE to use his keyboard? Can someone from the devs check it and does the ban have to do with that?

As a general rule the moderators will not discuss any actions that we may take. This is to protect every one's privacy.
I can say that if we find malware of any type posted on xda that we will remove it as quickly as possible.
Thanks!
