You can remove the yellow triangle by
1) Flashing back to the original Kernel
2) resetting the binary counter using USB Jig (Check Ebay for "USB Jig Samsung Galaxy S2" and Youtube for instructions)
The yellow triangle is just a warning that you have flashed insecure kernel and i see no danger in that.
Thanks for the reply
as i sad before, i didn't made a backup of stock kernel... where can i find a stock kernel for europe model? i kind a need it... i'll may be returning my phone for service check
Can use CheckFUS to download the European firmware. See this thread.

Yes..Use the ODIN and PDA option to flash the firmware..
You mentioned you will sent phone to service.
Your binary counter will not be reset even though you flash the original firmware.
See if you can buy a USB jig. It might be handy for you always to unbrick you device, in case u brick/semi-brick it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1068522
You can also home make USB jig from a spare micro USB cable. See instructions here. But be careful of the terminals. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rdn5GoRjhn0

The main function of the Yellow Triangle, is to show to Samsung Service that you did something that violates the warranty.
So Samsung Service can tell you:
"You have to pay to repair this device, you have violated the warranty."

Hi,
I installed the CWM and made a backup of the ROM, but when I try to install the SU file (Superuser-3.0.7-efghi-signed.zip) I get this error (see attached file).
MD5 Mismatch from both locations; the MD5 I get from the files is "fc462fa0630379edbe10006b1d19d9b1"
Thanks a lot

I've got the same error when flashed superuser over new 2.3.5 today. Surprisingly all still worked perfectly - su is installed and superuser app works.
Maybe because I didn't hard reset and I already had my previous firmware rooted.
Very useful,thanks for all!
Works perfect on my device.

A MD5 mismatch means your file is corrupted.
I think superuser should not be installed over another superuser. It is not clear to me why you do that.
If you have problems with superuser, please contact ChainsDD, the developer of Superuser.

Hello.
Quick question/s
1. Will my download count increase if I make a backup of my current android version?
2. Will my warranty be voided when I install CWM in my GSR? I do not have acess to a USB jig so I can not reset the counter....
Thank you.

Installing CWM with Odin does not increase the counter.
Making a backup with CWM does not increase the counter.
Installing superuser with CWM does not increase the counter.
Installing the "ardatdat custom kernel with root+overclock" with CWM does not increase the counter.
Installing a stock rom does not increase the counter.
Hi,
I installed CWM and and made a backup of the stock-rom. Then I wanted to copy the backup-file to my pc, but i cant find the clockworkmod/backup folder. There is only a clockworkmod folder and that one is empty. Its the same on the pc and in android. The weird thing is, that i can see the folder and the backup-file in CWM. So I can restore in cwm, but I want to make a backup of the backup to my pc.
Who can help?

Power your phone down, and then power it up holding either both volume bottons or the down volume button, when you see the "Samsung" logo pop up, let go of the power button but keep holding the volume button(s), and youll go right into CWM
Download anreboot from Google Play, set the shortcut on the home screen and get into recovery the easy way.
Hello guys, I have a problem. I did everything like on this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1776095 and after doing this I menaged to enter CWM mode but the phone didn`t wanted do reboot. Also i have one more problem, when I press volume up+power it says something like black screen with text FORCE UPLOAD.. PRE: In the past I've rooted and installed Galaxy S, Galaxy S2, HTC Desire HD without any problem, that's for tell you I'm not a totally "newbie".
I've a really strange problem!
I try to explain me with my litte english.
In the past I have installed in my i9103 android 2.3.6 by Odin 3.07.
All OK but...
After I've try to install CWM because I want do the root.
I've flashed CWM by ODIN.
Flash all "OK"
But when I try the combo button "Vol+ Home Power" NOTHING HAPPEND! The screen stay all "BLACK" and the phone don't "turn on"
Ok I've think... it's not a problem, I stay without root.
Yesterday I've installed ICS Official Firmware (Android 4.0.4 I9103XWLP8)
Flashed by Odin 3.07, ALL OK.
After I've try again to flash the CWMv4.0.0.2_ODIN.tar
Flashed by Odin 3.07... ALL OK, ALL GREEN, the phone boot normally...
OK I try the combination Vol+ Home Power and... nothing happend.
The Screen still all black and the phone don't start.
For restart the phone I need to remove battery.
I do flash it again by Odin of CWM... And the problem persist.
The phone it's work perfectly, but don't boot in recovery.
I can boot in Download.
There is a way to root my phone by odin?
Because I've try to search [Kernel] ardatdat kernel v1.5 [CWM] flashable by Odin, but I don't find it!
Please Help me!!!
I really don't understand.
Welcome to the community!
First, don't flash kernel with Odin. It increases the binary counter.
Can you bootv normally into Android? Did you try any other CWM version (6.0.1.1 or Epsylon3's one)?
If Odin flashing really doesn't work, try Heimdall.
If none of these work, try some exploit-based rooting method (will post them if needed).
Try these and report.

you are able to boot into download mode and not in recovery!
i guess the combination of keys you are using is incorrect or you are doing it wrong way
first press power button, when 'Samsung Galaxy R i9103' screen splashes leave the power button and press home+vol up key simultaneously!
try and revert..
