[Q] Ivendor ROM CM 10, gapps not working

I have problem with ivendor ROM, OS update is successful, but gapps not working, its not asking me to update my Google account, here is what I did,
1) I used ROM][JB][JZO54K] CyanogenMod 10 by ivendor - Beta 1 - Kernel 3.0.x
2) I do not have clockworkmod rom manager, so I used in-built. It has the following option,
a) Reboot system now
b) Apply update from SD card
c) Wipe data/Factory reset
d) Wipe Cache
e) Install fota
I did the following,
c) Wipe data/Factory reset
d) Wipe Cache
b) Apply update from SD card > Point to cm-10-20130211-ivendor-beta1-ariesve.zip
b) Apply update from SD card > point to gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip
a) Reboot system now
OS updated, but it must ask me to update my google account, but it didnt. Please help

well, after all thanks for read my thread, fine.. my problem is when i flash a CM based rom after some reboots my phone just have a wifi signal but the gsm signal no and doesnt charge the battery :C theres any solution?

both, cm10 deodex and cm11 alpha 4, i have the same problem and im on stock .23 firmware with sadra kernel

Start over again!
Follow the below steps:
1. Flash stock FTF (11.3.A.2.23)
2. Start the device & setup everything
3. Turn off device
4. Extract the kernel that is provided in CM11 Alpha 5 & flash it.
5. Turn on device
6. Go to recovery,
> Wipe Data / Factory Reset
> Wipe Cache
> Wipe Dalvik Cache
> Format System
> Format Cache
> Format Data
> Mount System
> Mount Cache
> Mount Data
7. Install ZIP from SD Card (select CM11 zip)
8. Wipe Cache
9. Install ZIP from SD Card (select GAPPS zip)
10. Reboot device, setup everything! Done!

[Q] Problem with Cyanogen 10.1 for GT-S7500

I have install the rom for Cyanogen 10.1 for GT-S7500. (cm-10. 1-20130603-UNOFFICIAL-trebon.zip)
However, I couldn't find or import any of my contact to the phone.
Besides that, is it I had to install the google apps for CM10.1 for all application for that specific rom?
I can't even connect to my sd card file after I attached with USB cable.
Bluetooth not working as well.
Anyone can help me out?
I can't post to the main thread of the Cyanogen 10.1 for GT-S7500
I am sorry. I am newbie and I from Malaysia.
Do that affect anything?

Flash again..coz it works no such bugs wipe data cache dalvik flash wipe again n its done..

Can I check the procedure with you?
My current CWM-based Recovery v5.5.0.4
1) wipe data/factory reset
2) wipe cache partition
3) wipe dalvik cache
4) install zip from sd card -> choose zip from sdcard -> cm-10. 1-20130603-UNOFFICIAL-trebon.zip
5) reboot system now
The step I mention is correct or did I missing something?

Unfortunately, I still face the same problem.
I wipe the cache partition. (same)
Then I wipe the dalvik cache.
I updating/upgrading some android apps
After that, still the same.

CM 10.1 bugs

Been using it for like 3 weeks. Awesome one.
Problems:
Camera flash. Fix: Install Xposed installer and look for flashlight fixer in the download section.
RAM is 392MB compared to Speedmod KitKat which has 433MB
None other I know of.

GAPPS is not installing correctly or I am not installing it propery.

I have installed Philz Touch 6 and installed ROM cm-12.1-20151201-0012-UNOFFICIAL-p5110.zip from Andi and have tried a using the GAPPS Lollipop Base Gapps package for 5.1.1: gapps-511-base-20151205-1-signed.zip and when I do a reboot I get a bunch of google error messages.
Copy GApps and CM-Rom ZIPs to your internal SDCard (this works)
Boot into Recovery (this works)
wipe data factory reset (I go into this folder and there are two options I am not sure which one to select)
wipe cache (this works)
wipe dalvic cache (this works in the advanced tab)
format system
Flash CM-Rom ZIP from internal SDCard (this works)
Flash GApps zip from internal SDCard (this seems to work but I am not certain)
Reboot

no gapps installed
I tried a different approach and only installed the CM ROM and no gapps.
I have tried about 10 different gapps and none of them work with the latest build on my TAB 2 10.1 P5113.
With the ROM only everything seems stable.

GT-N8000 google services framework keeps stopping with any ROM after Encryption error

After installing a ROM & Gapps, my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 3G & WiFi (N8000) boots into the initial setup but Clock, Calendar, Google Services Framework keeps stopping, can't complete the setup or do anything else.
Initially flashed Resurrection Remix Nougat v.5.8.5 ROM on the GT-N8000 with same steps as below without any issues, the initial setup and all google apps worked flawlessly but a day or so later was greeted with "Encryption unsuccessful" error upon booting. Went into TWRP, wiped everything, changed File system for Cache, System and Data from EXT4 to FAT, flashed ROM again with steps below, restarted and got stuck in the ROM's loading logo, loads/loops infinitely (waited over half an hour). Went back and changed back FAT to EXT4, flashed ROM again and this time it successfully got past the logo but started getting the Google framework stopping error.. someone please tell me there's something that can be done..
Steps I take
Boot into recovery TWRP 3.4.0-0
Wipe > Format Data & Factory Reset
Advanced Wipe > Wipe everything
Install ROM
Wipe Cache & Dalvik
Install Gapps
Wipe Cache & Dalvik
No errors during either of the installations, click Reboot into system
Loads into setup wizard, Google Services Framework keeps stopping continuously

Have tried Current & Older releases of gapps (ARM-7.1-pico/nano) with multiple different downloads, same result
Cache - EXT4

SOLVED, read below

Solved
For those who may experience similar issue..
Downloaded Stock ROM N8000XXUDNE5_N8000OLBDNE3_XXV , Flashed with ODIN, rebooted and successfully got through with no google errors and worked without any issues.
Then started everything from beginning, Installed TWRP 3.4.0 with Odin, booted into Odin recovery, did all the format data, advanced wiped everything
Downloaded Slimroms Slim7 and latest Gapps ARM > 7.1 > pico put it on internal storage, Installed Slim7 ROM > Wipe Cache & Dalvik > Installed Gapps > Wipe Cache & Dalvik, rebooted back into system and got to setup wizard with no errors, was able to set it up and it's working perfectly now..
In short just had to flash back to stock rom and start the custom rom install from the beginning.
Here's to hoping I don't get another "Encryption unsuccessful" error in a day or so..
