This is really very very good. I have been using it now for 2 months to keep track of the 3 jobs I currently have. For me the best feature is the ability to set the extra hourly wage I am paid for working certain hours during the week, at night and at weekends. Once these are set I simply need to "punch in" and "punch out". The app works out the rest for me. It is also very useful if you are going to charge a client for your services. The ability to enter hours work historically is also very useful.
One last thing: Great support!

installing now will post feedback

I'll try!!
I'm gonna try it, then I'll give you some fb!!! seems nice...

Cool it got featured!

Working on it right now. Well one-way export anyway.
First i'am going to make a "Calendar" tab that shows your tasks in calendar form. It will have an export feature to generate .ical files, which can be imported into Google Calendar, OSX Calendar and most other calendar software.

But ical is a little slow.. isnt possible to auto sync and post in some calendar? (make a new calendar for this app)
Some PC or web apps sync with gcal succesfully, is possible with android app? (i dont know... i try to work with google API in one app but they add new oauth for his apps and make me trouble...)

Yes its also possible to read/write events directly into Google Calendar using their API.
Haven't really looked into it much, but i would need a way to uniquely identify each event so there won't be duplicates if the user exports/syncs multiple times.
OAuth2 shouldn't be a problem since i'am already using it as log-in to the embedded issue tracker and it's web back-end.

Very nice

Seems pretty cool, but its not for me. Will commend it to some friends that work as freelancers.
One advice: add sound to tutorial video. I believe its easier to understand.
Good luck!

[paused][Application] Calli - A CalDAV-Client

INFORMATION: Currently the development of Calli has come to a stop. Because of personal reasons I don't have much time to invest in Calli. The CalDAV Library is mainly finished and only needs some tweaking. I will be focusing on finishing the library when I have time. The client itself will be finished, but I can't give you any timeline on that one. As soon as I have more time, there will be more progress. I currently think of a new redesign of the client.
Introduction – Calli
With this thread I am presenting you Calli!
Calli is a CalDAV-Client for the android operating system. Due to popular demand of a Caldav-capable calendar software I started this project. The project was also part of my work at university.
An integration of the caldav standard into the Google-calendar is (as far I know) not yet possible. So a standalone client is my goal.
Progress
* Currently I am porting the iCal library and working on the backend-client.
Features
Following features will be available for Calli:
(this list is not in order of priority)
Support for Free-Busy time, as specified by the Caldav-standard
Support for multiple calendars
Assigning colors to calendars
Storage of local data, only updating the changed events
Import/Export as *.ics files
Synchronisation with calendar software
Different views of the upcoming events
Alert/Reminder function
These features are the main goals of the developement. Any further suggestions is appreciated.
Versions
There will be a free-version with just a few features of above mentioned list, but with full support for caldav-servers.

Hello
Here are my hints for you:
Things, i expect:
- Multiple Calendars
- Each Calendar is colored in a different color
- a simple Gui (like the standart android calendar)
- daily, Weekly and monthly view
- (optional) Task view
- (optional) Reminders
Hope, that helps
Greetings
Christopher
Hi,
How about icons (such as sbsh calendar)?
iCal support i guess is a must, well for me anyway.
Other than that the same as what romses has mentioned above.
If you need a beta tester let me know. I'd be glad to help.
Good luck.
This is pretty much this, what I already planned Good to know I am on the right path . The Icons like sbsh is new to me, I will take a look
@gellen: iCal support – support of *.ics files, or support for Apples (c) Calendar Software?
I'm no coder and don't have much of a clue, but is it really inevitable to code a whole calendar app. Can't you just sync the CalDAV calenders into the Android calender framework. IMHO there's a bunch of mature calendar apps out there, no need to reinvent the wheel. That would let you concentrate on a perfect two way sync behaviour.
What I really would like to see is a transparent integration of CalDav Calendars into the existing calendar so that my work calendar can coexist with my private Google calendar.
Can't wait for you app
Well, that was my intention in first place, but the calendar source is not open sourced (yet). So there was no other way, then reinventing the wheel
But it was part of my work at university, so most of the program is done. just redesigning some things and everything should be fine
Helping hand
Hi Iowahc,
You can consider me as a helping hand in this.
I would be glad to help develop this.
After looking around for an alternative calendar app, I think, I could have done more productive work in developing than searching!
btw, following is my wish-list (additional to the others already mentioned above):
1. data separate from google calendar (data not saved in google calendar)
2. option to synchronize with google calendar
3. recurring events.
4. option to add events on the day/week/month view by long press.
5. drag to reschedule existing appointment.
Let me know how I can contribute.
-Adam
How is the status of this project?
@jacobtc: I am currently redeveloping the whole backend, cleaning some code, and manage some ressources.

Nice! Would it support iCal? Because I really wan't to have my school calendar synced with my phone.
what do you mean with iCal?
the ical standard (i.e. *.ics files)
or
Apples Calendar Software
First one is supported, practically ical is caldav, though

Hi,
ist there any status update of your project?
Do you publish your app as open source?
Greetings,
EdMolf
Hello EdMolf, I am sorry, currently I am not planning to release the project as Open Source. But I may publish my CalDAV Library as Open Source (which is a part of Calli)
In the last few days I had some other stuff to work on, but I am focussing again on Calli. I updated the first post with Links to Webpages, with updates on Calli.
Also I have reactivated my twitter Account to bring you guys up-to-date.
So hang on
Any progress?
Hi,
Is there any progress??
When can we see an alpha or a beta release?
I would love to help you test it.
Hi there. Calli is in development. Currently i am in a lot of work. Sorry for the waiting time. I plan to release an alpha version still in 2010. The alpha will be limited to a bunch of people. Further details on that will follow. Sorry for the inconvenience. I will giving you all reports on the development. Stay tuned
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
Any updates on this ? I am also looking for a good CalDav Sync.
Progress!
Hello @ all!
I know you waited long for some promising Updates.
Well, as for now, I am currently discussing the whole Calli project with my boss, on how to integrate the client into our own product. So there will be some enjoyable progress in the next time
I apologize for my little progress updates in the past.
Currently I am reimplementing the CalDAV Interface of calli. A lot of code to rewrite. This work is slowing calli down, but is necessary to support multiple servers.
As soon as this work is done, there will be an alpha to test. I plan a closed alpha release for some of you (maybe about 10 people). To get some feedback.
I will provide some screenshots of the past version of calli (the prototype) and of the new menu that is implemented in the first post
I hope you all enjoy these news and I will be back again soon
Great news.
Keep up the good work!
Very excited about this. Pretty suprised to find out that there is a lack of CalDav support for google calander / android. Trying to get my calander synced with with the work cal but no luck.
Looking forward to this! Its def needed in the market!

Hi everybody. I have updated Monetal so new version of 3.16 is available in Google Play:
- new data storage system. It helps retore data after failures
- Roboto font builded in (for Xiaomi and other phones)
- BYR, TND, CLP currencies added
- bug fixes (sync algorithm, stability and more);
Thanks for the continuous support.
One feature I'd like to see is searching through the notes I enter with the expenses. Perhaps you use it in a different way.
Example. All paid bills are paid and tagged with Bills tag. I also put what bill it is (internet, mobile, utilities, etc.) in the note along with the expanse.
There is no way for us to filter only internet bills, unless we create a separate subcategory (sub-tag) for each of these different expenses.
Creating subtags, is that how you would go in this scenario?

Ok, I will add search for notes in the feature. And yes, now I solve this with category "Bill" and there subcategories "Intenet", "Phone", "Rent", my notes for Rent is August, September etc. So I see all bills payed, and if I expand it Monetal shows every subcategory. I think this way is more convient.
If you pay some rare payment, so choose Bill itself inside "Bill" category, and make a note. Thank you.
Ok, yes, that makes sense as well.
Search feature through notes is still missed though
Thanks.
Hi everybody,
new version 3.20 is available in Google Play. I have fixed a widget error, and added new feature Wallets which will help to group accouts.
Wallets in Monetal
Wallets are used to group accounts in some sort of sets, which you can switch any time. For example, if you are traveling to Russia just add new wallet "InRussia" and add to it any accounts which you takes with you. Other accounts will be hidden. Switch to Total wallet again to see all accounts.
Wallets examples:
Total. Its general wallet which contains all accounts. Can't be deleted
MyTravel. All accounts you will use in travel
Cards. Bank cards
My accounts. If you are using syncing with other devices its useful to have this wallet.
To create wallet you need more than three accounts. Tap Total in accounts list screen and follow instrictions.
Feel free to ask any questions about Monetal here. Thank you.
You know what I've noticed, that one cannot have the same category in both expense and income.
I'd like to have the ability to assign both incomes and expenses to one the same category.
Is it something that's doable?

Monetal doesn't allow you to have the same category in each income and expense mode., due to internal structure and developing simplicity. But you are welcome to add some sorts of "." or even space to category.
What is tag that you want to have in both categories? May be I can suggest another decision. Thank you.
Thanks. I have a budget for purchasing and reselling and I would like to track it, without making it a separate account.
Yes, unfortunetely it seems you have to create two different tags like "MyStorePurchase" and "MyStoreSales". This way will let you to track them separetly. I don't plan to let user create similar tags, there are a lot of changes will need inside the code. Thank you.
Thanks

Integrate Tasks
Could you have integration with to-do list apps so that they'll be displayed at the top before the events? And allow us to select whether to add a google event/task when pressing the add button. That'll be awesome imo! the UI is beautiful. Also, does it come with a refresh button/auto refresh when I add new events?

Tasks or Todo's are part of my Calendar. Im using CalDAV as Calendar Provider and sync these via DavDroid also to Android. On the Server, Task's are very similar to Calendar Events. The Main difference is, that a Calendar Entry is a vEvent Entry and a task is a vTodo. DavDroid syncs to the normal Android Calendar Storage, thats why i see these Events also in your Widget. For Tasks, i use OpenTasks. With these App, i see the synced Tasks from DavDroid on Android.

Thanks - I will have a look.
New version 1.0.10 now available
I've been looking for something like this. It looks amazing compared to what I've found.
I'd pay for this.
The unused space when the widget is small is quite large though.
Been using it for a few days and couple of things I would like to request are:
a) An option to customize the colour / font for weekends. Here, I would also like to add that weekends are likely to vary based on region (in the middle east, it is Friday & Saturday) and therefore allow the user to choose the weekend. Also, some may just have one day as a weekend.
b) An option to save the settings so that it can be re-used.
c) Under General>Appearance>Text Size, why don't you just allow the user to increase it by whatever size they choose instead of forcing them to choose in multiples of 10?
d) The Day and date that is displayed on the widget, can you allow the user to customize it as in allow it to appear all on a single line as in:
Saturday, 8 July or
Saturday July 8, 2017
or in multiple lines, like
July 8, 2017
Saturday
Basically, give a user definable box where the user enters dddd, mmm dd, yyyy or whatever they choose.
Thanks
Thanks for your feedback. There are very valid and good points. I will add them to my todo list
Best regards,
Manuel

Its possible to have a transparent background. There is a indicator on the "Background Color" settings for degree of transparency.
you could add a 'Add New Reminder' button at the bottom, where the app would open a floating window rather than the application itself and take in the data as it should
Hi there great widget. I second the suggestions by Paparasee above, especially point c). I'd also like to see an option to eliminate the horizontal lines in the weeks views. Also, is it possible to get Google Reminders to show as they do in the Google Calendar widget? Thanks!

I'm not familiar with nextcloud. May I know, what is the advantage of using nextcloud, compared to free Google Drive?
You may look at our long term development plan, in case you are interested - https://trello.com/b/egVBdrmN/wenote-notes-to-do-lists-reminders-calendar

That sound like a very valid value proposition. We will consider that. But, do you think that is applicable to most non tech savvy person?
How you tried WeNote so far? May I know how is your experience, and do you like it?
Thanks.

Sorry. There are no one-click button to do so. The only way, is that share note one-by-one, from Google Keep.
Unable to share pictures

I was able to share notes from Keep to WeNote, but failed to share attached pictures.
Loving WeNote, great app.
2 feature requests:
- attach files e.g. pdf (no preview necessary)
- use default Android picker, when attach an image (instead of your own picker)
Hey, we just release latest 2.06, with the following new feature
Calendar home widget.
In order to make the development work sustainable, we make this feature as one-time-payment premium feature. It comes with 7 days free trial.
Thanks for trying out WeNote.
Any plans for making it accessible from desktop(sync) also?
Love this app, think its by far the best note app. However, 20 quid is way out of my budget for an app.
Shame
