i want to know whether it is possible to fix issue of battery charging time in micromax a110 it takes more than four hours to charge the phone fully it should not take more than 3 hours

I am using the Sensation on stock ROM..and about two weeks ago got a minor update to it (which provided the power saver option on the quick settings menu)..And since about a week now, my phone takes an elongated time to charge..previously, it took only about 2 hours to fully charge the phone, but now it takes more than 3 hours..plus, it takes only about 1.5 hours to charge from 0% to 80%, but afterwards, it takes more than another 1.5 hours to charge the remaining 20%..but after about 90% it literally stops charging further, no matter how long I keep the phone plugged to the charger..But when I restart the phone at that time, it indicates the battery level as 100%..
Does anyone else has the similar kind of problem? And can anyone please suggest me what to do? Is it a problem with my battery or is it a software issue? Please help me..
Thanks in advance..

Perhaps you need to reset the "stats" of the battery ?
Charge the device to full battery; let it keep charging until the battery says it is fully charged. Do not just wait until the light is green, it isn't always fully charged, causing a lot of inaccuracies. (You can check by going to: Settings » About device » Status » Battery Level = Full.)
Boot to recovery mode and delete the battery stats
NOTE: To have the most accurate of battery stats, reboot the device immediately after wiping the battery stats and wait for CyanogenMod to boot completely to the desktop. Once your entire boot is done and you have full access to the device, go ahead and pull the charger and continue with this troubleshooter.
Do not charge the device until after draining the battery completely, resulting in it automatically shutting off.
Recharge the device completely and then use as you normally would.

I am also facing almost same issues with battery. The phone charges very fast from 0% to around 75%. The remaining 75% to 100% takes a long time. But it does reach 100%. It doesnt stop before. And if I reboot the phone when charge is 80% or 90% it will immediately show 100% on reboot. So which value was correct? Before or after reboot?
Another thing is during the day when I am using the phone and the battery is at any particluar level for ex. 45%. And I reboot the phone for any reason. After rebooting the battery level is shown as increased to 50% or any other value. How does battery increase on rebooting the phone?
My theory is that HTC Sensation is unable to read battery level accurately and therefore such incorrect values are reported. BTW this happens on both the stock battery and my current Anker 1900mAh battery.
Hey mate, did this error started to occur after you updated your phone or was it there prior to the update as well?
This situation was there before the update too. Maybe some experts here will give their opinion on this.
My iNew V3 Battery is insanely draining. Earlier it was working fine for 3 or 4 days, then suddenly it was not charging up to 100% and discharging rapidly in few minutes. I have tried to charge more than 3 hrs but no use. its going to 1% and switching off and showing more than 30 -70% when ever I keep charging in off mode.

I have checked with re-sellers support, they have suggested that firmware update will resolve battery issue. I have updated firmware from cxq_v3_v1.0.6T02 to cxq_v3_inew_v1.0.4. after updating firmware now mobile is charging to 100% but immediately with in 1 or 2 hours, some times in few minutes its going to below 4% and switching off. some times it will charge to 100% with in 30 min.
I have checked battery with multiple battery calibrate apps and find no issue, all are showing healthy and good status. There is no Physical change in appearance/size in battery (like expanding in size). its good as new one.

Face the same thing here. Rooted mine to freeze some of the bloats but Android System is still at 91% consuming my battery. HElP
From what i understood you need to wipe the phone when updating to firmware 1.0.4 - then this problem should be resolved.
my inew v3 is on the way so i cannot tell from personal experience,
but i read on a different forum that this seems to have fixed the problem.
also, check the other thread here about how to get a THL W8 battery working (2000mAh)
Using a rooted mmx a102 device facing extreemly quick battery discharge...
Battery gets discharged from 100% to 0 even before i can complete a streaming a 20min video over wifi...
Also i m experienncing sudden and erratic battery drops like from 30% it suddenly dropa to 15%...also the device would suddenly get switched off for no reason at all and on switching on would show a lower power level than before..
Any ideas?? (some battery graph screenshots included)

Hey guys. I have a Micromax Unite 2 8Gb model. I have used it for 3 yrs constantly but then i decided to buy a new phone. So this old phone was off for few months. N now it wont charge or turn on. Any help?
Your battery has suffered a deep discharge.
If you got a multi-meter check lead V on battery
If 1.5 v or less buy new battery
If 2v then charge battery with slow external charger by removing battery from device
Give it at least 5 hrs
Check lead V again. Should be 2.6V or more
Now insert battery in device and charge to 100% before switching on
