I'm trying to use the unlock tool from my tablet but the download is not an apk but in rar format. Is there a way to get the apk on my tablet instead of the rar file?

Yes, just extract the apk file from the rar file
On your tablet you can use es file explorer, on computer you can use 7zip or winrar, of course there are a ton of other programs as well, the ones i mentioned are easy to use and popular

I have the same prob with my tf101 AND htc desire z. Guess it's something android related. Perhaps some kind of filter on certain kind of files?

Just tried opera. It solved the prob.
The stock browser is no capable of downloading files from those web hosters, you need to use a sepereate app to maage you downloads...I dont need it on my tranformer because I do not go to those sites, but on my inspire I use mydownloads. Works perfectly for downloading anything.

the app downloads.apk is what will hold your downloads. just use file explorer> downloads. if you have removed that apk, it wont work properly.

I was reading that there are additional files that need to be incorporated with polaris. If I use titanium to backup w/ data, will these files be preserved?

Isn't splashtop available in the Play Store. I know mine didn't come with it...

Polaris requires addition .so files. I'll grab the ones you need later when I get home and let you know. You can just push them. I added them to AOKP.
Supernote can just be pushed it doesn't have any extra requirements. For Splashtop you need to put the MyCloud.apk and another APK but I forget which one. I'll look when I'm near a computer.

I downloaded this zip file. It has all of the programs except for Supernote in it. Does any one have the .apk file for Supernote?

Is there an app where i can trade files via bluetooth?
Go into the stock file manager and select the file and click share at the top. Then you can share it with bluetooth
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using xda app-developers app
Easy enough. I am assuming i can go from tablet to tablet?
Yeah as long as both have bluetooth. I think you need to make the device dicoverable but someone can correct me if i'm wrong.
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using xda app-developers app
Make it discoverable and then pair the devices.
You can send files through a file manager and select the share option. When you get the menu of how to share, choose Bluetooth.
It will only let you send files with extensions that are recognized by the tablet. If you have other files you want to send, change the extension to .jpg, send, then rename back to original file name.

I just got my TF300 back from rma and found an app called TF300t touch tool installed which seems to be a configuration tool left on my pad. Anyone else see this?
Any chance you can root and upload the apk? Ya know, just for funs:cyclops:

I think he doesn't need root...
"adb pull" should work
EDIT: And I'm also interested in this app

They are in the stock apps - if you open the apk in 7zip or any unzip program you can extract them from the /res/mipmap-xxhdpi, /res/mipmap-xhdpi, /res/mipmap-hdpi or /res/mipmap-mdpi folders.
