swapping files via bluetooth - Transformer TF300T Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there an app where i can trade files via bluetooth?

Go into the stock file manager and select the file and click share at the top. Then you can share it with bluetooth
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using xda app-developers app

Easy enough. I am assuming i can go from tablet to tablet?

Yeah as long as both have bluetooth. I think you need to make the device dicoverable but someone can correct me if i'm wrong.

Make it discoverable and then pair the devices.
You can send files through a file manager and select the share option. When you get the menu of how to share, choose Bluetooth.
It will only let you send files with extensions that are recognized by the tablet. If you have other files you want to send, change the extension to .jpg, send, then rename back to original file name.

I have the same prob with my tf101 AND htc desire z. Guess it's something android related. Perhaps some kind of filter on certain kind of files?
There is got to be some fix if so many have this problam

Just tried opera. It solved the prob.
The stock browser is no capable of downloading files from those web hosters, you need to use a sepereate app to maage you downloads...I dont need it on my tranformer because I do not go to those sites, but on my inspire I use mydownloads. Works perfectly for downloading anything.

If you can make a backup of your entire system then copy to your computer. Open your back up and extract the email application apk and install on your tf101 to try.

My phone and tablet are rooted, I can copy email apk from system/app to sd card and install it on tablet. This should work, right?
Sent from my MB865 using xda premium
unless it has requirements from the atrix 2 like blur framework and librarys
edit: it will also have to be deodexed
and you will have to sign it aswell so that it can install. if you cant sign it then paste in system/app of your tablet.

If there isn't es file explorer can do that as I use it to copy files from my wifi hard drive to my phone.
You swipe left / right for different physical locations (such as your phone or a wifi enabled device, ftp server etcetera) and when browsing your phone your sd card shows in the file explorer so you can paste there or to a specific folder such as external_sd.

I was reading that there are additional files that need to be incorporated with polaris. If I use titanium to backup w/ data, will these files be preserved?

Isn't splashtop available in the Play Store. I know mine didn't come with it...

Polaris requires addition .so files. I'll grab the ones you need later when I get home and let you know. You can just push them. I added them to AOKP.
Supernote can just be pushed it doesn't have any extra requirements. For Splashtop you need to put the MyCloud.apk and another APK but I forget which one. I'll look when I'm near a computer.

I downloaded this zip file. It has all of the programs except for Supernote in it. Does any one have the .apk file for Supernote?
