Here is the Video LiveThumbnails feature MOD ported from GSIII Video Player. Only for Stock DPI
I checked on my device running TW JB 4.1.2, perfectly working. This should work on any stock/custom deodexed Rom.
So i thought to share with you..
DOWNLOAD
MIRROR
IINSTRUCTION
FLASH VIA CWM RECOVERY. AFTER REBOOT DEVICE GO TO;
SETTING>DISPLAY SETTING> DISPLAY TIMEOUT> SET IT TO 10MIN.
NOW OPEN VIDEO PLAYER. WAIT ABOUT 5-7 MIN. DON'T PRESS ANYTHING SINCE IT'LL TAKES LITTLE TIME TO CREATE THUMBNAIL DEPENDING ON YOUR VIDEO CLIPS.
SO BE PATIENT UNTIL LIVE THUMBNAIL RUNS UP.
THIS IS ONLY FOR INITIAL SETUP.
After that you can change display timeout to anything as you wish.

just installed the zip from recovery, did what you say in the instructions about the display time... etc, waited 5+ minutes but nothing happened..no live thumbnails. I'm on 4.1.2 lsz. Any idea??

its work on Deodex LSC india rom
I just flashed it and put my screen time to 10min deleted .thumbnail folder from internal storage n then open video player and wait for 6-7 min after that it start slowly slowly become live thumbnail...
well time depend upon how many video u have in ur galary.. as I have 20 video only

Its confirm working i checked on several roms LSZ-LSF-LSB.
Maybe it'll take more time depend on your video files..
Clear all thumbnail and see whether it works..

Everything is working perfectly now, I have live thumbnails. As I wrote in my previous post after I flashed the file nothing happened because one of the files that was installed in folder system - lib - libsvengine.so needed to change permissions to rw-r-r to create thumbnails, did that and everything is ok now...

open file manager then go to settings n click on show hidden file then go back n then click on internal storage n search for .thumbnail n deleted n restart your ph, n open video player n wait wait n wait for few mints, like 10-12 mins
I am guessing this wont work on any AOSP ROms like the ones I am using "Jelly Bam 6.7" ? or is this only for JB TW roms ?

Did not work, I flashed it via Recovery after my Nandroid back up and my phone stood at the Samsung GT N700 logo at start up and would not load from there. It does not work for ASOP Roms bro !
it works perfectly on my XXLZ rom. I had 2 FCs and then it worked with no time wait

So yeah, Firstly, i tried cyanogen mod on Galaxy fit, now i need your help to gather all the things that are working, and things that aren't and make a list of them, as well as any files/patches/bugfixes available.

Things that are working:
- Themes (apply a theme and reboot to get it to work)
- DSP manager
- Soft Keys
- Bluetooth
- Wireless (the networks won't show in a popup but will show through wifi settings )
- Video PlayBack
- LCD density
- Themes
- Almost everything?
Things that are NOT working:
- some videos in the gallery (mostly 360p mp4 videos downloaded from youtube) codec relate i think. [edit] Now Working!
- Camera [edit] Now Working!
- Sound Plays through Top speaker when the headphone is plugged in.
- Overclocking
-Wifi/USB tethering Don't Work
- Please Tell me so i can list them
Bug Fixes Go Here (Please confirm if they work!)
- Wifi Works, Long Press the wifi button after turning it on and you'll see all available networks (The Network List will NOT popup like in the stock ROM) :3
- Bluetooth Works well (But not on first boot, just reboot once and all is good :3)
- You Can Use Fx File Explorer if you don't like the normal file explorer (found here https://market.android.com/details?id=nextapp.fx)
- Themes : Use an LDPI theme and reboot to get it to work

1st camera app that is working came pre installed with cm7 2nd those kernels didn't worked Cox they were actually ported for galaxy mini rom to be flashed with cwm so they didn't worked

I tried flashing cwm using the file here http://www.mediafire.com/?0nhu0rnqxcd40wd and the camera app would hang on each try? and of course the kernels don't work

galary takes a whole lot of time to load
theme chooser dosnt work with many themes notification bar force close
LCD density dosnt work (its must needed my fevrt app)
file manager need to be update it suck
contacts need to be update no grouping
msg app need to be updated bcz we can not send mst to recent or group it must needed in a msg app

u will get same problems
youtube only audio works . Needs codecs for videos.
The attached zip file ( Includes the necessary video codecs) works for Cyanogen 7.1 for Galaxy Mini. It is flashed from CWM.
May be someone here modify it to work for Cyanogen 7.1 for Galaxy Fit and make an update.zip file to work from recovery in Fit

You can see in my screenies. Wifi is working perfectly for me. Currently trying to fix market. Will keep you posted....
It worked at first and overtime it my phone did like a soft reboot and then wifi said error, i updated my market with the chinese root explorer but when i use a downloaded app the app fc .
I've got an edited version ready. Has the Market fixed. I'm making a new one to get rid of the Chinese apps and add back in the English versions.
I just fixed the market. You can check the screenshots. I am currently uploading the fixed version.
Edit: I changed the Root Explorer with File Expert (english)

Imma Wait Till Htc Sense Login Is Fixed, Twitter For htc, Facebook for htc and the widgets that came with new htc explorer widgets are added, I want a full goodie experience . Kinda like having a new phone .

set cpu force closes on opening

automaticly reboots about mmmm every 5 mins.

Did you factory reset and wipe your data, cache, boot, system and dalvik as well? Please do this before flashing my rom and let me know the outcome...

SU binary problem can be fiixed easily by reinstall it in market

no you don't need to extract the files
just put the zip an sd card
and install it with CWM
Apart from the CPU H.264 test, the other quadrant test can be done.
After the removal of the unnecessary system apps.
The maximum free ram is 295MB out of 486MB
EXT4 is supported

I think you have to flash with XXKPE (all files) --> XXKPH (PDA only)

After restoring backup dial *#1234# and verify everything. Chances are phone will be of current rom

N ya guys edit the prop files...
Ro.product.model change to galaxy nexus
Ro.product. brand. Change to Google
N reboot..!
N you can operate sphere panorama... in camera..!

Happy to do the build.prop edit .. but are there any undesirable side-effects from changing to GNex? such as some apps not working, play-store access changes etc??

Nope no errors till now ... neither in app store neither on any application...

Anyone else have this replace their existing camera and gallery, even though Gallery2.apk is still in system/app along side the new one? Folks at android central stated it resulted in both apps appearing in the drawer?

They have a fully flashable and patched zip .. no need for build.prop editing on non-Nexus devices
el_smurfo I just deleted my Galery2.apk as it does cause both to show in the apps menu!

Yes, but I want my Gallery2 to work, as the CM10 camera has many enhancements this camera is missing.
BTW, newest patched camera has working sphere without build prop mods but it does get pretty toasty while in use.
EDIT: As people have stated in the AP thread, video doesn't seem to work for me.
EDIT 2: Take that back. Video works after setting to 1080P.

1. What do you mean? You have no gallery at all?
2. If you didn't make a backup first, use the front facing camera to take a shot of the only one you have to blame.

Is for me, but I find the stock camera over saturated. It's definitely not as fast though.

Correctly said ... when I take a pic with stock camera.. n zoom it to max... it will show red dots and blurriness...
But with this camera.. its siicckkk.. no matter u zoom...nothing appears except a nice sexy looking pic

I did make a back up... But after flashing I didn't have anything in my gallery after restoring everything is back

Pros:
Awesome Ram management even after installing 90+ apps... No 4.2 issues(power key doesn't wake up device,lags,hangs) faced with this rom so far
Liquid smooth touch response feel like 4.1 stock
Multi Tasking at its level best
launcher with desktop gesture support,themes,drawer transparency,apps cataloging overall Excellent launcher
Ram cleaning option inbuilt in Recent Apps - no need to install external apps
Battery backup is very good... after 13hrs f usage with 2g data ON still 57% left
High End Games are Working well ... ASPHALT 8 works with juz few lags and fifa 14 as always in slow motion
Boot time is quick
Everything working fine, no fc's
cons:
few gravity box options not working(Transparency management not working with AMOI 360 launcher, lock screen tweaks)
"replace lock screen ring image" not working instead it changes the wallpaper while changing the lock screen image (patch provided and issue solved i think )

Camera quality can be improved.. in Turbo3.1 rom Images taken size are 3 to 3.5mb, in this rom always under 2mb irrespective of the ambiance like all 4.2 roms... pls do something ...

However, I'd like to make corrections..
No Gapps preinstalled is incorrect, Play Store, Google services framework as well as Gmail are installed.
Some of google apps are not installed but you can download them in play store.
And regarding gravity box issue, Just update the module, everything will work fine.

This ROM is working absolutely fine, but in app drawer i can't found any default Camera app, i have tried to install other camera apps from playstore but unfortunately every app showing only front camera :crying:
also in GPS, its not locating my exact location
please give any solutions as i really want to keep this awesome ROM for a long period

I will solve your GPS issue in matter of seconds, but if you saying that camera is not available.
Can you confirm me that when you bought your device, A110 was it with 4.0 or 4.1 android pre installed in it?

thanks mate ! when i bought this phone, it was 4.0 installed in it, and i also installed dozens of custom ROMs but this happened 1st time with me

Ohh,
Than you have to try re flashing and flash without making any single change in rom and flash 3.4.67 kernel for first boot.

Thanku bro OP edited.... Bro i have downloaded and installed gmail from play store .. may be u would have restored apps and went un noticed ....
this is not an issue at all still just mentioned

Sorry bro i havent tried other releases ... i tried almost all the 4.2 roms and had faced issues of hangs and others,,, but after using this rom was so impressed and i wanted others to try so came up with a review

LOL bro there is no Gmail2.apk in the ROM zip system/apps .. u can check or may be u r rite .. bond bro should have added it in the later releases ...
and transparency ,i know it will work with other launchers for sure because i can see transparency in lockscreen and am facing the issue because am in amoi 360 launcher which came with rom and wanted to use it

Yes the Gmail2.apk isn't in system/app, but it is in data/app where Motion Snap, Gravity Box and Xposed Installer Apk's are located!
You can check! Or, I'll post a screenshot if you want!!

Yea bro just checked its there but i dont know why it didnt work with me i had download it from playstore ..
thts y i did mention abt gapps not been pre installed
i have done a factory reset many times during "app not installing" problem by tht it should have wiped the data partition ....
any ways i will be most happy removing tht line from OP
