[Q] Safe to remove Email & Internet apps? - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

Is it safe to uninstall the default Email and Internet apps with Titanium Backup? I have suitable replacements for both - Chrome and Gmail, and all those two are doing is taking up space.
I am aware that some apps should not be removed, I wanted to double check if these two are on that list before I remove them.
Any thoughts?

I freeze them, I haven't noticed any problems.
You can Google the apps that are safe to freeze. Some people get extreme while others just trim down. If you notice any side effects, just defrost them.

I just uninstalled both and rebooted, no errors; everything works perfectly fine. I would back them up just in case, though.

Thanks for the tips, I backed them up and uninstalled. So far so good!

Auto sync apps??

So I reflashed my phone + full wipe. I synced my phone with my Google accounts, HTC sense, and Facebook. While it was syncing, it started to auto download the apps I had before.
I was wondering how it did that? Because other times I tried it, that never hhappened. Was it from something else? It made it so much easier for me to get my apps back I had before. I don't like searching.
So can anyone confirm what backed up my apps??
Thanks!

When you signed up with the google account, it ask you if you want your phone backed up by google. All you had to do was not uncheck the check box to agree.
FYI, if you flash ROM's a lot it doesn't always restore your apps, so use screenshot to take a picture and store them prior to flashing to remember what you had so your not searching in the future.

How can I restore restored apps with market links

I've always just let my apps automatically restore but I would like to use my backup of apps with my backup pro. But once they restore they don't show downloaded in the market. How can I change this?

Go to settings > applications > manage applications > all - find market and google framework services. Clear cache/data for both...reboot. Open market.
Wait a few mins and all the apps will show up in the downloaded section.
This was happening to me yesterday.
I went to Manage Applications->All->Market, and then clicked "Force Stop", and then "Clear Data". I reloaded the market, accepted the terms, and everything showed up again.
If just clearing the data doesn't work, force stop it and then clear. That worked for me.
okay guys that worked, thanks. I have another question though now, so because I didn't want my apps to automatically install, I used my alternate gmail account(the one my paid apps aren't associated with) to first log in with the market so I could download My Backup Pro. After restoring my apps, I logged into my original main gmail(the one the paid apps are associated with) and my paid apps still haven't showed up. What can I do to make them show up?

Hard reset / wipe and use the right Gmail first.
Sorry but the first one you put on is the one and only Gmail linked to the market. You must use that one if you want your paid apps.
Also: I know you use my backup.. but titanium backup has a "market doctor" feature that finds missing market links and lets you re-establish them.

miui help

just flashed miui, first thing i noticed was my apps are reinstalling themselves? did i get lucky or something? i don't recall this ever happening before after flashing a rom.
onto the real question,
is there any easy way to auto organize all the apps? I've got 100+ so it's going to be a real pain in the ass!
Thanks,
Cole
Edit: not all them came back, and the ones i restored with titanium backup aren't showing up under my apps in the market, how can i get them to show up?
Also, on the facebook sync, i don't want every person on my friends list sync'd. i chose only sync with existing contacts, but it decided to sync everything, help?

About FB i have no idea because it did that to me all the time so i gave up lol
But to make apps appear in market again I think in Titanium Backup if you long press there is a "link to market" button....havnt used it in a while tho.
EDIT: I think it was- open TB - Menu - Market Doctor... or something like that lol
For your Apps just make a folder put it on your dock bar and use it like a app drawer.
I have mine on the bottom right corner. Just put Ll your Apps in there

Apps force closing

So just got my tablet last night and love it. But alot of my apps (xda, facebook, setcpu) are force closing. All be it they were linked to my google account from my phone. Should I uninstall them and reinstall?

You can try to delete that apps' data.
Settings->Applications, select one of them, click on Delete data.
In this way that specific app will restore its initial state as like just installed.
I'll give that a shot

Rooted and removed some apps and now Google app fcs sometimes?

So basically I rooted and wanted to get rid of some of the bloat, and I removed fb Instagram, the Google+, mag, news, movies and music apps because I never use them, but now when ever I use voice search, it fcs and I'm not really sure, I used titanium to remove everything, could it be because of the other apps i removed?
If i remove google app and reinstall it would that be a fix? I'm stock rooted btw.

Flash this rom, you will have most debloated Galaxy S6 ever, you can also flash aroma add-on package if you want additional stuff.
It is wise to freeze apps first to see what issues you might run into. Saving copies of what you are deleting also makes it easier to get them back if you run into the situation you have run into.
