You can try to delete that apps' data.
Settings->Applications, select one of them, click on Delete data.
In this way that specific app will restore its initial state as like just installed.

I'll give that a shot

Did and Did more then one time non of these helped.
try one of the UN official fbook apps.
I am with Trusselo on this - try one of the unofficial apps. I like FB Black personally, but there are a few out there. Also when I have an issue with it not connecting it is usually because I have changed how I am connected since I first open the app. For example we have six wifi points at my work and if I am walking around the building and go off one onto another then it seems to confuse the app. Turning the wifi off and back on again on the phone and restarting the app is the most I have to do to fix it.
Uninstall fb app. Go to accounts and add fb as a account. After that install the official fb app.

If i do this will facebook add all my friends to my contacts and what not? I don't want everyone on facebook in my phone. Thanks again for the help. Guess i can try and see what happens lol.
Have you tried using the official Facebook app again since when you were having those problems? I have was having that same problem a few days ago too and it went away last night when I gave it a shot again...
I was also having an issue with the official FB app so I uninstalled it, rebooted my phone, re-installed it and now it's working great.

How can I restore restored apps with market links

I've always just let my apps automatically restore but I would like to use my backup of apps with my backup pro. But once they restore they don't show downloaded in the market. How can I change this?

Go to settings > applications > manage applications > all - find market and google framework services. Clear cache/data for both...reboot. Open market.
Wait a few mins and all the apps will show up in the downloaded section.
This was happening to me yesterday.
I went to Manage Applications->All->Market, and then clicked "Force Stop", and then "Clear Data". I reloaded the market, accepted the terms, and everything showed up again.
If just clearing the data doesn't work, force stop it and then clear. That worked for me.
okay guys that worked, thanks. I have another question though now, so because I didn't want my apps to automatically install, I used my alternate gmail account(the one my paid apps aren't associated with) to first log in with the market so I could download My Backup Pro. After restoring my apps, I logged into my original main gmail(the one the paid apps are associated with) and my paid apps still haven't showed up. What can I do to make them show up?

Hard reset / wipe and use the right Gmail first.
Sorry but the first one you put on is the one and only Gmail linked to the market. You must use that one if you want your paid apps.
Also: I know you use my backup.. but titanium backup has a "market doctor" feature that finds missing market links and lets you re-establish them.

Google mail upgrade

Seems the newest version if Gmail blocks third party apps from being used with it. Meaning, I use email notifier app with my gmail, and now it force closes. Anyone have an older version of gmail available?

my launcherpro gmail widget stopped working too after the upgrade
Just uninstall the update, then use tibu to remove market link.

Not sure what you mean. Use tibu to remove market link? My only bu of gmail is the current version, since I recently did a tibu bu. Hoping to find an older version somewhere

If anyone needs this, it's an older version of gmail that doesn't force close third party apps. Thanks to Sword of a thousand truths for finding this.

Removing an account

[Q] My wife and I have both our google accounts on her XOOM. Now that I have my own Fire, if I remove my account off her XOOM will she lose all the apps that were downloaded under my account?
Sent from my DROIDX using XDA
Most likely, yes. The apps bought/downloaded into your account are linked to it.
That's what I was thinking. What about backing up the apps and data with Titanium Backup, remove my account, then restore apps and data?
Sent from my DROIDX using XDA
You should beable to just remove the account. If that doesn't work, tb should do the trick (although it may be considered Warez at that point).

I'm not certain, but the apps could stay there, but not be updatable via market.
I have apps not purchased via market, and all that I get when I try to manually update (need to find first, doesn't show up under 'my apps') is "not purchased".
I tested this out on my Fire by adding her account and then downloading a game. When I removed her account, the app and progress I made stayed but it did not show under my apps in the market. Guess we'll just have to manually search for the app if we want to see if there are any updates.

[Q] Safe to remove Email & Internet apps?

Is it safe to uninstall the default Email and Internet apps with Titanium Backup? I have suitable replacements for both - Chrome and Gmail, and all those two are doing is taking up space.
I am aware that some apps should not be removed, I wanted to double check if these two are on that list before I remove them.
Any thoughts?
I freeze them, I haven't noticed any problems.
You can Google the apps that are safe to freeze. Some people get extreme while others just trim down. If you notice any side effects, just defrost them.

I just uninstalled both and rebooted, no errors; everything works perfectly fine. I would back them up just in case, though.
Thanks for the tips, I backed them up and uninstalled. So far so good!
