I don't know how i sat on it while it was in my pocket, but it's bent. It still works perfectly, nothing's broken, but it's bent )
Does anyone know if I can "bend" it back by diassemblying it and straighten each piece at a time?

I logged in just to say wow. This must be a first for the Atrix 2. Sorry to hear about your phone!
You must be a hulk!
Don't try to bend it back, it might break internal stuff.
Give it to the service centre . They might fix / replace it.

Well, they won't replace it, since it's my fault, so i'll go to a service soon and hope they can fix it. It would be a shame to lose a phone that works perfectly just because the case is bent.
Leave it as it is. Don't try any hard. It is still ok use.

I can't use it like this, the battery cover won't stay on the case and the digitizer is "unglued" in one corner.
Believe it or not, i did it myself after I went to three services and none of them wanted to fix it. It's not as new, but it's way better and still works great.
I attached some pictures, in case you're curious )

Hi, i just have some problem with focusing camera by tuching dpad,
its describe here: showthread.php?t=435061&page=5
... but i was wondering - maybe there is some software to test all of the buttons in my htc touch pro - it will be quite nice to test it.
Do a search for raphdiag.nbh. It's a diagnosis image that has a test for the buttons (among other things). You need hard spl to run it, and you need to know how to flash off your sd card. It won't over-write the rom (just don't format the nand).
its sound a litle bit complicated - i just dont wont to lose my warranty -
maybe some instaled software (.cab)
Oh, come on, sack up and flash you phone, lol. Why are you worried about your warranty? It's got to be long dead by now.
You can try this tool; it measures input to the d-pad (mostly capacitative responses). It may help with the camera button. You're not using ae button, are you? It's a bad idea to re-map that button.
no, im not usung ae button
how to run this navdbgtool.exe ?
----------------------------
ok - it can be run by download htc test.zip
is it normal that i dont have full circle - its look strange - example below

Just run it from the device, and click on it. I didn't include a shortcut, but you can send one to the start menu.
i've just edited my previus post - could you tell me is it wrong that i dont have full circle
im new user so i just cant post images and links - just copy-paste this address to see what i have in NavDbgTool img716.imageshack.us/img716/6064/htctouchpronavdbgtool.jpg
my center d-pad is working - but not with camera
this is another img with efects of using navDbgTool:
---
img525.imageshack.us/i/dpadnavdbgtoolcalibrati.jpg/
---
its not a full circle around dpad - its something wrong (some bad callibration)
or its just alright
maybe everyone has the same
I searched for a thread like this for sensation but couldn't find one so I thought I would start one.
You can enable the advanced tegra3 effects like ragdoll and improved lighting and water shaders by editing an XML file stored in your system partition. You will need root to be able to do this.

Make sure you set permissions correctly as I lost some progress by doing it wrong. They should be:
Read Write Exec
X - - User
X - - Group
X - - Other
If you set these wrong then it will either not work or you could lose all your progress. It is a good idea to backup your progress before editing the file by copying it to your sdcard.
This game is great fun, especially if you have a spare PS3 pad lying around and can pair it to your phone. Set the input settings in android settings so its recognised as a standard gamepad for it to work in this game. You will have to set the buttons in dead triggers settings. Unfortunately the pad doesn't work for menus but works great for playing!
Our sensations seem more than capable of ultra settings. I average just over 30 fps most of the time.
Enjoy!
We could also use this thread to share in game names to add to our friends lists. Mine is Ferocious.
lol they say those graphics could ONLY be done on tegra 3...while it's working perfect on our Adreno....the levels the lies can reach to make you buy a new product is beyond...way beyond.
would like to inform that this works, shame on Nvidia.
Awesome mate! 5 stars to you! Thank you for bringing this to our attention!
No worries guys. Glad to be of some help.
Is it just me or is the only level with water on the floor the very first one? I'm up to level 12 now (getting radio stuff) and have not seen another one with it in.
Ragdolls are fun!
Hi
I don't know if this exists anywhere, but I liked the idea and wanted to share it with you.
It's no secret the iphone has many accessories (due to a very good, gotta admit, human engineering)
and android devices and our phone in particular (as well as its international brother - the i9000) have very little accessories,
though they have their respectable market share.
SGS 4G, being an obsolete, yet very fun phone to have, we might just need to pick up the glove and make the accessories the manufacturers fail to supply us.
I aim to making this thread an accessories user to public thread - whether it's a suggestion/idea
or a complete "how to" (including a list of items to buy, a scheme and instructions on how to build ).
To kick off :
An example - LEGO dock station
First idea - making your own flash LED addon (current project seems to fail).
See posts 1 & 5. I will try to make one myself and send complete instructions.
Second idea - making your horn speaker amplifier.
It exists only for iphone.
Thinking of making the mold of epoxy and then make it with white silicone (RTV).
Haven't started working on it yet.
Feel free to share your great ideas.
They made a bullet proof case for the iPhone 4/4S... Why do you need a bullet proof case for a phone? The front doesn't look protected too! The non-sense these people make.
Well that guy is insane, he also shot an unprotected SGS 3...
Back on topic, I see we barely have handymen here
sent from me
I totally like the flash idea. I might have to try it
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda app-developers app
I've actually done a few self-modifications to my sgs4g
Here's how it looks like right now

* LED flash - Dealextreme 3.6$
* Back replacement - Dealextreme 3.9$
* 50 Mini Push Buttons Momentary Connectors, Switches - eBay - 3.5$
Once succeeding I will publish full schematics.

Dear XDA forum,
Short story:
- Phone (huawei mya-l41) felt into water
- Recover for some days after a good bowl of rice
- Screen stops working completely afterwards#
- Got the phone to get back data (Unfortunately no backup was made )
Tests:
1. Preparation for connection to the PC
- Installation of MTK65XXX while in Windows Test Mode due to unsigned drivers
- Installation of adb/fastboot from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...vers-15-seconds-adb-installer-v1-4-3.2588979/
2. Connection to the PC
- USB Connection is unstable => crashes after ~3/5s
- Screen is not powering on
- Phone has already been charged for 2 hours to ensure power is high enough
- Trying to put the phone in recovery mode, but I'm not sure if I could reach it
- Being able to connect to the UART Port by luck in that range via Terminus https://github.com/Eugeny/terminus
and I can see the output "READY" printed out in series, but I don't know what it means

}
=> I tried to search on the forum with the keyword "READY" "ADB" "USB" but nothing interesting popped up
=> Searching in the Android source code will not help to, due to massive finds I guess
Any idea how I could proceed further?
Thanks a lot for any hints!
Rice may not work for drying phone. You'd better open it up and dried the sim and all that you could with a tissue. And you should also replace the battery if it has swollen.

I've got the phone after some days (1 week I would say) when it was not working as it's not mine. I expect the phone to be dry since there. The person already bought a new phone, he just would like to get back the photos
Good point for the battery! But it seems the battery has not swollen
