Hey folks, has anyone been able to find a stock kernel that is modified to be overclocked? I would switch to CM or AOKP but I use the IR blaster.
Also, is 4.0.4 still the official current version?
4.0.4 is the current version for the Tab 2 10.1 in the USA from my understanding.
Use setcpu

I'm running CM10 Kernel and was wonder if there is another kernel better than CM10 kernel and that is fast and battery saving.
Thanks
Try Marmite.

with stock kernel? stock voltages?
I wanted to ask this same question. Currently on CM10.1 Nightly (03/02) and I really like it, quite stable.
But I want to know what the fastest/nicest/smoothest ROM you guys have experienced or are currently rocking on the Nexus S.
I'm happy with slim bean 4.2.2
After 4 days, my battery was still 30%
Silencers automic gb 5.0 ^^ plus doomkernel v22

nice I'll test it :fingers-crossed:
Now I'm testing xylon but after change something in the camera settings, the galery fc..
Testing HellyBean now
Helly Bean with kernel included as some said before. Row-Interactive OC at 1,3GHz
I am running Xylon 4.2.2 with the Devil kernel and it appears to be very responsive stable and smooth. I have tested it's performance and am not dissapointed. Xylon by itself (stock kernel) is barely able to load, but is fast with the kernel flash over... I use it as my daily driver, no worries as of yet.
Battery?

How long does your battery holds on Helly Bean? And do you have a stock battery or you buy a better one?
Is there a link?

Hello XDA community,
i have a short question : Why is the no Kernel development for our N8000 ?
There are brilliant Kernels for the N8010, but none for our device,
I wanted to start collecting donations for the N8000 Kernel- development ( Boeffla Kernel with GPU Control) but there were no responds.
B-Tight
Xcstacy kernel is under development again. And he's trying to merge GPU control, still has issues, but stay tuned.

You are not allowed ask questions regarding best roms or comparing the ROMs.
To answer your question CM with it's stock kernel is very stable gives a good battery life. I was able to get 6 hrs of screen on time in around 20hrs. Just remember to set the min frequency to 300Mhz manually after every reboot.
