[Q] Foolproof way of putting jellybean on Asus Tf101 - Eee Pad Transformer Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all, I am wanting to upgrade the android os on my tf101 to the newest possible. I have looked through the threads and I do find them a bit confusing. Is there anywhere in this forum that goes through the exact steps to be able to upgrade the android os? Which of the custom roms?? is the best and what I would need to do to get the tablet up and running? I have heard of CyanogenMod but is this the best and most stable? TIA

It isn't foolproof, but it is thorough.
I have this guide for TeamEOS 4: http://www.transformerforums.com/fo...ficial-faq-teameos-4-android-4-2-x-tf101.html

Complete wipe after custom firmware? Possible?

I am a convert to the eee Pad from Archos. I am finding it really good but am thinking of playing about with some custom firmwares. I have no issue with doing all the installing and have already rooted my pad. Just wondering though how difficult it is to revert back to the stock rom?
Any hints and tips for me? What#s the best rom to start with?

[Q] Q: How to install CyanogenMod on a MID7015

I've been reading this "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1101094&page=183" post for a long time where they public a CyanogenMod that can be installed on certain models of tablets. I realize that there are two kinds of Coby Kyros MID 7015, One that comes with GB and other that don't.
I have the non-GB tablet, allready rooted and using a watery rom but i think that CyanogenMod will work a better, so...
In that forum they said that there's a rom for the non-GB tablet, but i was unable to find it. I would like if anyone could help me telling me where's the file or where to search.
If there's any procedure besides to install CWM on a rooted table, so please let me know.
Thanks for answering.

[Q] How do I root/flash/etc?

Hi everyone,
I am pretty much a complete newb when it comes to rooting and flashing android devices, but I would like to try a custom ROM to speed up my TF101. I currently have a TF101 running ICS 4.0.3, with a build number of 9.2.1.27 - 20126015. I really want to get some knowledge of how to root, flash, and everything else to improve the performance of my tablet while sacrificing as little stability as possible.
I've been looking for guides and tutorials to help newbs like me, but I can't find anything stickied on the forums. Can anyone direct me to the appropriate resources, or explain the whole process to me like I'm 4? I do have a little bit of experience with flashing ROMs, as I had an old HTC Touch Pro that I had custom ROMs on - back when it was a way longer and more painful process than on devices now.
Thanks,
fedorsauce
look for PERI tool in the forum, use it to install a recovery, then from that recovery, you can flash any ROM you want. all roms come pre rooted i think.
have to u looked into this? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1689193
this root your tablet in one click and also flash TWRP

[Q] Yarvik Tab10--150 kitkat lollipop or custom roms?

Hi,
Total noob question but am having some trouble finding something to flash an unstable Yarvik Tab10-150 with. It is suffering from the random reboots that the factory rom is known for.
So I'm not fussy whether it's an Android update our a custom rom. I'm just after getting off what cane with the device.
Any suggestions for one that would work extremely gratefully received.

Try a Cyanogenmod custom ROM. They've worked well for me. Also, if Cyanogenmod doesn't support your device, just search XDA for your tablet's general discussion forum.

[Completed] How to install vanilla Android or Cyanogenmod on ASUS Transformer TF101G

Hey, guys. I have an old ASUS Transformer TF101G which is running insanely slow (it's lagging even when I change the page in a boom) , so I decided to root it and install a fresh vanilla Android. The problem is, I'm new to rooting and every tutorial I found on the Web is for TF101 and is not compatible with the G version.
And even if I succeeded in rooting it I have no idea which Android build to install, how, and where to download it from.
So, I'll be extremely thankful if you could help me out. Also, if stock Android is not an option, please recommend me another option.
Thanks in advance,
Spas
