This is an galaxy sIII mod but i figured its jellybean same rom soo what the heck .... i flash sucessfuly and the camera app works awsome! burst mode works great NO JOKE!!!

720p only works 1080p force close :/ ....but burst mode works
If I am not mistaking, the current cm10 camera app does burst mode. All you have to do is configure the volume buttons to do so from the camera app and you are good to go.

Well, then I must be wrong. I read someone did it but haven't done it myself since I am running Viper atm.. anyway, I just checked the nightlies change log (Wednesday build) and I see burst mode added officially into CM.

yeah, without disabling hw overlay. I don´t know any jb rom for desire s where front cam is working.

Good question, I too need a working front cam as I use Tango alot for video calls, and I want JELLY on my Deisre S

The new stock camera app is good however I loved the options / features with Camera Awesome!
Unfortunately, it doesn't work with Android 4.4.4 anymore.
What do you guys use?
i use the aosp camera mostly, for closups and most my normal shooting. and i use the google camera for panoramas and photospheres.

just because the app is capable, does not mean that your phone is capable. the nexus 5 can not record 4k video.

Didn't really try the 4k recording thoroughly.. Just happen to went thru its features.
Snap HDR CAMERA is the best. I am using it from the start.

Camera Awsome works with 4.4.4 on my Nexus 5. Rooted, unlocked, Franco Kernel.

Laser autofocus still doesn't seem to work with this camera app. The red light where the sensor is doesn't activate. Plus still takes awhile to focus.
Was not aware that the laser autofocus was actually visible to the bare eye. I have just verified that the laser also fires in the Camera FV-5 app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.flavionet.android.camera.pro
Laser autofocus works with every camera app as long as you using OxygenOS. But WON'T work with any custom ROM at the moment.

Front camera is working but I don't think it is using HDR. Portrait Mode for front camera doesn't work.
A bit better front cam, working only without HDR+ ( Enhanced and Portrait )

Didn't work on my Note 5 AI front HDR black screen same goes for front portrait
I've tried mgc 5.2.25 and hdr+ on front camera still only black image and if flash on the result is yellowish
Slomo works well.
Edit:front cam portrait mode won't work
After more testing I can confirm black images but only when I try front portrait. When I use just hdr+ enhanced on front it captures pictures without problem even in low light.
