Bricked P-6200 Advice Please

The worst has happened and it's all my fault
Having not used my Galaxy Tab for some weeks (I've been using my SGS III) I updated to the latest Brazillian ICS firmware and for a stupid reason did a factory rest which has resulted in me bricking my Tab.
I am now getting a boot loop on the screen that states it's a Galaxy Tab Plus, I can get into download mode but not recovery.
Having read a number of posts of similar problems, have tried flashing a .pit file and firmware but still no joy. It seems that it may have to be a trip to the Samsung Service Centre. Thankfully in download mode it is still showing a stock firmware with a zero counter.
Would be interested for any experiences on people who have had to return it to a service centre and whether I may get any potential problems as it was bought off ebay around 6 months ago and is the P-6200L model.
Any help is appreciated :good:
I'm not sure about this but u may try to flash cm10.. firstly download pit file and Odin then u flash the pit file.. also download cwm and cm10 then flash cm using cwm.. then wait for the device to reboot.. it works for me.. ^_^

I had the same thing yesterday.... If I look at the article there is a link there to an article and if you read that I see the advise to flash the original firmware through Odin maybe you can give that a try? I haven't had the change yet... but will try this afternoon... If that doesn't work I will also try aorth's post and if that fails I going back to the service center....

Have tried flashing a variety of different firmwares for my P6200 even the .pit files but still no luck.
Have spoken to a pleasant customer services gentleman who's arranged for me to return it and have it repaired under warranty.
Must make mental note to self NOT to do a factory reset via the default recovery option ever again

I tried the ICS from samfirmware through Odin, but no luck... The last option is to try and "downgrade" to Honeycomb (through Odin) if that fails I will go back to service...

Tried using Heimdall earlier but can't get it to recognise my device, neither will Kies now...back to Samsung is my only chance now!!!
Dude I had the same Problem. Flashed I've again with odyn and wiped everything 4-5times
I've given up... device will be sent back to service desk today for repair. Hopefully under waranty as I didn't root yet nor flashed a custom rom... I did, however, install CWM 6.0.0.8, but I guess that is not an issue (can anybody confirm?)
U need to change to stock recovery, my waranty was void and need to pay $170 due to there change to the new board.

Thanks for the help but sent my device back to Samsung this morning. Very impressed that they sent a pre-paid Special Delivery envelope and bubble wrap to return the device to them. Hope they don't take too long to sort it.

Cannot Upgrade to ICS or JB P6200L - Complete(write) fail

When I got my Tab 7 Plus, it cames with th 3.2 Firmware. After a while I upgraded it to 4.0.3 official leak. Now When I try to flash the official 4.1.2, I get the "Complete(Write) operation failed" error.
I tried going back to 4.0.3 but nada. Tried some other country firmwares. Nothing. Flashing a 3.2 did work. Then i tried to go from 3.2 to 4.1.2, and can't either
Help.
Cheers,
Paul
I dont think the JB was made for 6200L.
Could be why. now you may need a .pit file.

There is, nevertheless, where can I find a .pit file for this device? Atleast I wanna get back to ICS.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus P6200 Jelly Bean Upgrade Problem
For starters, I just registered and this is my first post on this forum.
Now to my problem. I am trying to update my Samsung Galaxy Tab P6200 from ICS 4.0.4 to Jelly Bean 4.1.2 (Official Version-Austria #P6200XXMC3) through Odin 3.07.
I am able to get to download mode but the installation process freezes specifically at "recovery.img" stage (screenshot below);

and the frozen tablet screenshot;

Any help or reference to another post that the problem was fixed would be of great help.

Thanks for the idea.
After posting the problem yesterday, I continued searching for a solution and fiddling with it.
I recalled that on the first update attempt, I had checked "repartition" and used a PIT file from an unspecified Samsung tablet. It then occurred to me that the PIT file could be the issue so I downloaded a new one specifically for P6200 from droiddevelopers.com (cannot post the link due to forum rules)
Did it work? YES, PROBLEM SOLVED! I am now running official Jelly Bean.
Moral of the story is NEVER check "repartition" unless you have the specific PIT file for your device. If you still prefer repartitioning with each update, please download the correct PIT file from the above link.

[Good News] O3DM Update is on the Way?

Hello my Friends,

The Last Post is from 13.07.05 and it means the Update to Android 4.. is out.
He startet the SW tool from LG and they becomes a SW Update but after 40% they get an error. " Conenction between Phone and PC is lost".
Ok, if it comes. An Update Over the Air is not working. "No new Software". I will test it later at home.

I get same message in Kies with Windows 7 x64.
Just in case you don't know, that's not how you update the firmware guys. As far as I know it's how you restore a dead or bricked device to the condition that it was shipped in.
Hopefully, the reason it's failing is that your tablet is not dead yet.
Thanks.
I never updated with kies, i used OTA one time then odin to put jb and root for a wile, then i got back to stock (when jb for my region arrived). My tablet is fine, binary counter is 0, staus official. For some reason kies sees the tablet as BGL instead of COA (region).

Why can't it be updated via kies? I thought it was for any samsung devices. Only phones can?

The screenshot shows a message that the Tablet does not support initialisation. Hence my statement that initialising the device is not updating the firmware. Kies can update the device. I prefer to use Odin however

Yeah I see that but kies is crappy. I've gotten that message with my phone and after reinstalling kies it worked.

I was able to update my 8013 today. I had to reinstall kies to get it to work. It seems that if you use one device with kies it doesn't want to work with another. I have had this problem before using different phones. Kies is garbage. Odin is easier if you haven't already got it to work yet
