Ok, if it comes. An Update Over the Air is not working. "No new Software". I will test it later at home.

mine says that I have the latest version.
Well, I ran the software again and got "The Cell phone is the latest version already. So you don't need to update.[sic]" That is weird, because the first time I ran it, I got update is available.

I'm still waiting for my GB update... Am I alone?
I just plugged in my friends g2x phone into my PC and his phone updated manually to BG without issues using the LG software...
Then I plugged in my phone, and it still says that my phone is uptodate
Wish LG would allow a force update!
Anyone else still waiting for GB?
Oh look its THIS thread again...
While you wait feel free to try ANY of the gingerbread ROMs in the dev section...
Maybe I'm an id·i·ot·ic, but i didn't find anyone having problems using the LG update tool to manual update to GB
I finally just rebooted my phone, and now the update is available using the LG update tool.
HA! You like apples?

Hi,
did you back up first?
if you did, switch off phone, then hold down the volume down key and then while holing press the power button, once you see the LG logo let go, then do a reset to default, then reboot, your phone should boot now.
waitin... no update available, wtf LG?!
i wonder f the 21st was just the date that they were releasing it to the carriers... and depending on what your carrier is might take em awhile to put on their bloatware...
could be wrong

Didn't they say the week of Nov 21?
Also LG EU probably just got in to work haha
Lg has posted on their German Facebook site, the Gb update comes in this week, from November 21 to 27
It can happen, every day, this week.

As far as I know LG said they will start the updates at the moment only for Europe Open devices.
My for instance is a sim-free device but it's UK region so I won't be getting the update now.
Check which region your device is before getting excited.
I reckon the V10K took over two weeks to land on UK region devices and it was available for EU Open almost a month already.
Hi,
Just to inform those who are waiting to update officially, check now.
For others, here is the kdz if you want:
http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/swdata/WEBSW/LGP920/AGBWML/V21a_00/V21A_00.kdz
I wonder if there are any slight changes? There must have been some reason it wasn't released at the same time as the other regions.
Good news, hope this time this UK GB is a lot of improvement than the Germen...
can someone tell us the date of the rom?

I guess it's the same as everybody else, so I don't see the reason for such delay in UK.
So far I have not seen any build number differences in the baseband, kernel, build or date. MD5 identical.
Is this available OTA as i am still being told that my current version is up to date?

Thanks for the info. Do you need to have a constant connection to update or does the update software download everything it needs before it updates? I use my phone as my internet.

my games and apps arent supported wait a while
Damn, keep getting a url not found when trying to download the LG support tool.
btw, can I do this update if I'm locked on T-mobile network? Also, will I loose data? Cheers
I wonder if this is any different to the other one and fixes the battery info problem.
I might have a go this afternoon and see
lol, managed to download the app (was work restrction),
but when installing the LG software it says it's down for maintenance. So they finally release GB and take the tool down that installs it!
It would appear that it is the same release as before the MD5 is an exact replica so no point in updating to this one if you have the other.

Came up saying it needed updating, tried to update, got so far and came up with an error message. I restarted it, then it now says i have latest version, which I dont....any ideas?
Is everybody having problems with the 3D games?
The one pre-installed I have to re-download them in order to play but I'm getting errors when I try to and the others that I have purchased the app says that the game is not a original copy and doesn't even let me open it.
is it just me?

well, kinda...
Short answer:
Officially (at this moment),: NO - GingerBread is last update (versions V20 and V21) - full version list: http://wittgenstein.homeserver.com/P920/list.php?
Non-officially (at this moment) YES, there's an ICS version (V30) ported from another LG model (the korean version of Optimus LGP920) thanks to xbsall. - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1956347
