Hi there!
We bough some i9300 phones from a chinese seller, and although we knew they were clones my brother tried to install clockworkmod to manually update the firmware to 4.1.2 ...
Rom manager told him the device was not supported, he selected the i9300 from the list and applied the flash...
... and now he just gets a black loading screen and nothing else...
so I guess the bootloader has been damaged somehow.
with home+voldown+power it displayed a factory menu to test the phone. now it just displays factory mode and freezes there.
with home+volup+power it enters recovery mode and seems to work fine.
I can access it with adb, but don't know how to fix it.
I have the same phone working fine, is there any way to get a backup of the working unit to fix the damaged one or something?
or how can I know what firmware is it using and where could I get it to update it?
it also asks me for update.zip file in sdcard, but when I push a file into sdcard I can't see it in the recovery menu...
shell commands give me an error about something not found.
any idea?
the phone looks likes a i9300, even has "samsung" on the front. supports 2 sims although there's just room for 1 micro sim in the back. came with 32gb microsd too, but that's not the one loaded in recovery.
updated: tried to install cyanogen (i9300 build) version 9 and nightly 10... both no valid ota package.
searched for android 4.1.1 ota rom files, and could only find a samsung leaked one. after trying it produced an error with boot (dota or something like that), and if tried to continue after booting produced failed to verify whole-file signature and the instalation was aborted.
I'm checking the working one to get more details and identify it...
android 4.0.4
cpu abi armeabi-v7a
cpu abi2 armeabi
hardware mt6575
radio unknown
board gt-i9300
host nebula
id imm76d
model gt-i9300
product galaxy s3
external memory 2,06gb
total ram 470mb
cpu armv7 processor rev 10 (v7I)
hardware mt6575
revision 65fb8a00
seria 00000000000 (all zeroes)
frequency 1ghz
screen res 540x960, 240dpi
Looks like the GT-i9300, but also could be like HDC S3 9300...
I tried to download their roms and try to flash them with SP flash tools, but I have no luck... every time I try (installed vcom drivers, open flash tool, load the rom, click download then plug the phone) the phone is recognised, but the device is disconnected after a couple seconds
any idea?
Ok so yesterday i flashed CWM on my S3 GT-i9300 MTK 6577 clone and tried to install a custom rom but it didn't worked the installation was on 30% but for some unknown reason i was returned to CWM.I restarted the phone to check what happen but to my suprise it boot up with nothing changed same rom no brick, everything was working. So i went to sleep after i woke up today, phone was restarting like crazy it shows up the Samsung logo and then it shows an android logo with blue spining and then it shutsdown itself and this happens again and again and again until i remove the battery.I cannot access my CWM anymore just shows up the Samsung logo again and the android logo after that, can't access my download mode either. Please help me
Luckily I hava a Stock ROM for S3 mt6577! Unfortunately, its 1gb file! It took me 10 hrs to upload but it failed . and so I never done uoloading it again ^_^. If you have Flash tool v 1.244 and a stock rom. flash it. That will solve your problem :

Hello!
Some of my pictures were deleted so I tried to root and get them back. Now I face this huge problem and I am amateur so I need help. I tried to root my GS6 (SM-G920F) and now my phone is stuck on "Recovery Is Not Seandroid Enforcing". I used CF auto root and Odin.
I would like to know how to backup data? The pictures and videos are more worth than this phone.. I would like to know how to backup my pictures and videos and restore this to factory settings.
Thanks in advance!

Hello! Thank for your answer. I flashed twrp with Odin and get in recovery. I got photos and videos pulled with adb. Now I would like to flash stock firmware.
Phone model is SM-G920F and I bought it from Finland. I have android 5.1.1.
Can't find stock firmware with those infos. There is no finland version for 5.1.1. Can I use for example UK version and just change keyboard and language to Finnish?
Greetings,
Matias
Yes you can. But is there a posibility to not find finnish language
Sent From My Galaxy S6 Duos
It worked and I also found Finnish language.
Summary:
Problem:
I tried to root my GS6 (G920F) with CF Auto-Root. It went to mode where I was only able to go Download mode or phone tried to boot but it stuck on the samsung logo and on right upper corner was text "Recovery Is Not Seandroid Enforcing". I could right flash a stock firmware but I was fearful that my pictures and videos will be deleted.
How did I fix it?
1. Connect your GS6 to computer with USB cable and download Samsung USB Drivers.
2. Make sure you have enabled USB debugging.
3. Download Odin and TWRP (First I tried many versions of Odin and TWRP but none of them worked. I finally found versions which worked ((found on highonandroid article: how to root galaxy s6 with twrp recovery) also pm me if you need it).
4. Put your GS6 on download mode.
5. Flash TWRP.
6. Download Android SDK Tools.
7. Open Windows Command Prompt.
8. Go to adb folder with "cd" command. For example mine was "cd C:/adb".
9. Type "adb devices". Then "adb pull storage (and folder where you want your pictures and videos)". For example mine was "adb pull storage C:/backup".
10. Now your pictures and videos are safe (should be found from folder you pulled/DCIM). For example mine was C:/backup/DCIM.
11. Download a stock firmware.
12. Flash it with Odin and you're done.
I am new to this but if you have any kind of problems with this, pm me! I'll try to help you!
Hi. So I have a galaxy note GT-N8000. I tried to install clockwork recovery mod on it through odin. It installed and after that I downloaded ROM manager from Play.mob.org . I tried to test it and now it is stuck at the black screen where it displays Samsung GALAXY Note GT-N8000. I have no idea how to restore my device. Can anybody help me out? Also I accidently deleted google play services through Kingo Superuser. Please help me out, prefferably in the first problem. Alos, is there a way in which I can restore my device without deleting the data? I have a lot of games, mostly hacked.
Dont use Rom Manger .
Do you have download mode recovery mode Nandroid backup .
Hello guys, i have a trouble with my Samsung Galaxy E5 device.
I had rooted my device nearly 2 weeks ago. And Today i Tried to install exposed installer with .apk file . But that cause my device to stock in boot loop. I didn't know what to do so i did factory reset and installed it's default rom downloaded from sammobile using Odin. That worked fine but the problem is Wi-Fi didn't turned on. So i tried these methods as mentioned in other posts in this forum and others:
Factory reset couple of times
Cleared Ram Memory
Turned off Wi-Fi power Save power using *#0011# in call dialer
again rooted and reinstalled the same rom
I am New to these So please Help me. Your help will me appreciable.
U can install the correct recovery from twrp.me , then u have to back up your current rom after doing so you have to restore your efs file by twrp recovery from your backed up rom.
