Regarding the sound, I found an app on the playstore that bumps up the volume a lot. Check it out : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.omegacentauri.Earpiece
It works. Just turn it on, click on " Audio trough earpiece" and see how much the volume is raised .

I think, he thought this:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vipercn.viper4android4x&hl=pl or this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2191223 - for sound.
Generally, if you can, you should install CM10 - no problems with sound, or camera(rotated view in front camera)(with camera zoom fx)
Or, you can try to install AC!D Engine for sound (CM10 has it, and music sounds like a dream), but for now, I'm searching for how to install it in JLo(it is possible, look in my thread).
Guys is that any other blasting music player for xperia L?
Please suggest one here other than stock Walkman which has less presets.
I need a player with blow blast effects.

Its the 3rd one from top..I forgot the name but with neon etc..
I use PlayerPro with iOS 7 skin.
Great, minimal looks and for obvious the player is awesome, if you want to change the loudness, you may equalize with the PlayerPro DSP Pack. I'm a PlayerPro fan and I prefer it more over the Poweramp.

i dont know how to explain, you can configure v4a the way you like and improve almost everything (bass, clarity, surround, effects, volume, presets, etc). it gives life to music, i highly recommend for everyone.
Hi! I have heard of ACID, Viper, and other sound engines. I'm just wondering what audio engine are you using on your Xperia E or are you using the stock xLoud. And which would you suggest as the best fit for Xperia E?
I'm using viper's right now. thanks...

I use PureAudio by Jeeko. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=41786745&postcount=1
Although I'm not a fan of anything associated with Beats, I like this engine. It really gives a nice, richer sound, because the audio renders a lot faster. This is not a placebo, and I promise you will find a great improvement, especially in songs with a lot of vocal.
I had it on my CM10, and then I had to reflash it. I listened some music without this engine, and you really miss it. My example is Demons by Imagine Dragons. It starts with a nice vocal, and somehow the voice of Dan Reynolds sounds better with this audio. Hard to explain, you have to experience it yourself.
Note: I'm talking headphones/earbuds here. The sound of the speaker won't be much better.
Hope I informed you well, and have a nice day!

hello buddy here is a little trick that u can enjoy good quality of sound on both speaker and headphones. Tried and tested and hundred percent working in stock rom of XE. for me viper is the best just u have to be rooted. install the app viper4android and install the drivers from the app itself. Now using root browser remove sound enhancements and and music fx but dont remove the libs.
reboot.
et voila!
u have now viper but also fully functional xloud on ur XE.
:highfive:
I use v4a, and will always keep using it. I prefer it because I like the Dynamic Bass System. It'll literally create that BOOM-BOOM effect if u know what I mean (earpods/earbuds/headphones)

To install it just find/download the .apk and load it on your phone. Shuttle/Shuttle+ has a similar UI to Apollo.

I've rooted and installed Viper4Android which dramatically improved all the Nexus 5 audio output. Then I switched from Poweramp to Neutron player and am very happy with my music options. If I was going to take only one of those two options the free Viper4Android wins hands down as the improvement is amazing. Check the XDA Nexus 5 themes and apps section for the thread on how to install Viper4Android on your phone and have to work well with almost any music player.

Please share the settings you use in WALKMAN and help everyone to make the most out of Xperia L.

I just use Clear Audio+, sounds great with all my different Sony headphones.

This is the settings I use.
But before I checked Clear Audio+, I boosted the bass, because I listen to tons of house, classic disco and jazz.

before im on jb 4.1.2 and i love my Walkman™ app. But since i updated my phone to kk 4.4.2 and i want to have my Walkman™ back. is it possible??
Ported Walkman in CM11 is sucks and those DSP manager equalizer is sure crap. Alternatively, use shuttle music player on play store. Works great with built-in equalizer.

Absolutely. It is possible. A friend of mine uses Walkman on Nexus 4. Simply download it, someone must have uploaded it.
But porting Sony's in built-in sound enhancements is tricky.

You're welcome.
I have it almost max since the volume is a bit lower than what I want. I use the earphones that came with the phone and a MDRZX100A, both volumes were pretty low with the latter unfortunately lower. Dunno if using other headphones would make the volume louder. I also use SoundBoost app.

Well I belive that is best set up for it:
400 at +3
1k at +1
2.5k at +3
6k at +5
16kHz at +7
Clear Bass at +4
Hope that helps u guys, I've been use that set up for a while n it's good for sound, u have bit touch on bass but not too much of it n bit of louder kick, it's all balanced quite well, so yeah enjoy ur music like ;p
Mine. I found this settings long time ago and it was surprisingly awesome! I flashed @androidexpert35 's port and it works perfectly on latest cm12.1. All of the function work well!
