yeah that's the same setup as mine and no go as of right now.. just bootloop city with not logcats available..
I need some newer hboots
I have 2.15 but I'm not S-Off or SuperCID yet (although that will probably have changed by tomorrow). If you post a download link I may get round to giving it a shot once I've S-Offed and SuperCID'd tomorrow.

There is currently no way to s-off the HTC One S. Best you can do is bootloader unlock.
My phone is boot load unlocked but I tryed installing vemon ROM but when I install it and reboot it gets stuck on load up for some reason. But on install it says something about being (s-off) I don't understand what its asking for then :/
Sent from my HTC One S using xda premium
Luckily you probably misnoticed that, no One S ROM needs S-Off to install AFAIK.
OK so why does it not boot up when I install the vemon rom? It shows blank black screen...

You need to flash the boot.img in fast boot.

Did what? Anyways this is a symptom of not flashing the boot.img properly. Do it using fastboot, there is a whole guide on doing this stickied in the development section.
Do like others have said, fastboot boot.img or try using TWRP recovery.
One of the rom threads has a boot.img script. Just replace the boot image on that script folder with yours and run the script.
HTC One S TmoUS
Maybe it isn't the boot.img..maybe he chose full wipe in AROMA and it didn't flash. Try flashing by manually full wiping and then not full wiping in AROMA, then it should boot after you fastboot the boot.img.
Good day to All,
I Need Help.
Intro,
My Phone is Sensation 4G S-Off, HBoot 1.27.110, Firmware 3.33 Universal.
Rom being Used is ViperS 1.41.
What Happened,
I was flashing a different kernel (that I used before multiple times) and my problem started,
The Problem,
The Phone starts, HTC Logo (behind a white background) and after less than a minute it shuts down.
I can access 4EXT Recovery normally after seeing a notification message stating ("A pending update to your boot partition has been detected") and after I click through it I can access 4EXT normally.
What did I do,
Tried flashing multiple kernels, Multiple Roms, restored Multiple Backups and still the same thing. HTC Logo and it shuts down, and if the phone is plugged in to the power it will keep boot looping.
I would highly appreciate some input as I can't use my phone what so ever.

Same setup as OP
S-off' hboot- 1.27
After flashing a kernel, and selecting reboot now, a message appeared about pending update detected. After reboot, will not pass HTC logo.
I've tried different kernel, roms, and backups, and still nothing.
This happened after flashing Sultan-kernel rc4 1512ghz. My phone booted before at higher ghz so I don't believe that's the issue.
Edit: Flashed different ruu, now hboot 1.29 s-off, still same issue.
Thanks for any help possible.

yeah i saw your posts in 4ext recovery thread
glad for you man:good:
Whenever I had this problem happen to me I flashed the boot.img file from the ROM I was using through fastboot then everything worked. Might save you some time next time something like this happens (happened to me a lot when I was S-on using 4ext) because you won't have to wipe everything and reinstall your ROM.
Has anyone tried to downgrade the H-BOOT ofter S-OFFing?
I mean, did anyone with say H-BOOT 2.15 try to do someting like this for example:
Code:
fastboot flash hboot hboot_1.13.0000_signedbyaa.nb0
Is that possible or am I going to brick my One S?
I downgraded by flashing an hboot zip through my recovery. It doesn't really make a difference since we are s-off though.

Is there anyway to flash a new hboot in recovery? Say 2.15? And if so is there a tut on how to? I'm currently on 1.14.0003
Look in boot splash thread in themes. Its has different hboot zips.

Now that we have the exploit to unlock the bootloader on 3.18, I thought I would give you the run down on what to expect.
The first thing that you need to know is that your hboot version will not allow you to flash custom roms properly. You will have to manually flash the boot image: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2136172 . Flashing roms without doing this manually requires a method called S-Off in witch you remove security: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2155071 If you are thinking about flashing aosp based roms you will have to s-off "FIRST" and downgrade your touch screen for them to work properly: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2159863
Hopefully this will eliminate some confusion and help you on your way.

Go here : [ROOT] HTC One X AT&T 3.18
I have been unlocked and have superCID, when trying to flash custom recovery via the fast boot it seems to install fine but when i reboot into recovery the recovery is blank any ideas? What are the steps i should properly take to gain Root,s-off etc. Any assistance would be aprpeciated.
Did you unlock bootloader via HTC dev?
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
Yes sir cid is 11111 via fastboot auth
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
What I am asking is if you went to the HTC dev site and received an unlock token to unlock the boot loader after gaining temp root. If so you can download goo manager from play store search for twrp and it will install it for you. Make sure you stay with 2.3..... 2.4 has issues wiping on our phones.

You will also need to install super user.

you need to hold the volume down button and power. once you get into the bootscreen choose recovery. This will load up TWRP. Once your in you can gain SU by going to advanced and fixing permissions I believe. Also note when installing custom roms you must do a complete data wipe/cache/dalvik/system or you might have boot loops or no boot at all.
You gain such by flashing su in recovery.

Yes you need hboot 2.15 to run 3.4 kernel. There's a workaround posted in the forums for using older hboot with the new kernel, but it's not supported by CM.
And yes you can still run old kernel with new hboot.

I noticed in your signature " CM Stock" - can you tell me how to get this stock kernel ? I know how to flash this boot.img but need to know where I can get it ?
I am having 'stuck in Edge" issue - used to get 4g but not anymore.. would like to see if it's to do with the kernel that I have.
Well to get the kernel you need to open the ROM zip file and extract the boot.img file. Then use fastboot to fastboot flash boot boot.img
