I think i will do the same.script for linux and mac but not today i have quests

I think a simpler fix is simply this:
1-flash stock recovery
2-boot into stock recovery
I have not heard of this not working yet.

This method was posted awhile ago. Though I suppose it didn't have your nice little .bat.

Please Help!
I can't flash anything to my phone, says can't mount /sdcard. while in recovery, but the sdcard is still accessable through the OS.
The red dragon link is down, says there's to much traffic to the public link. Is there another way to obtain this? I need to flash a call quality fix for Sense 5. Can't hear anything on any outgoing calls.

Nexus can't get into recovery. Doesn't boot.

I flashed the 4.1.1 OTA and after that I installed the Chainfire3D driver. After the reboot the phone didnt boot anymore. I pulled the battery and tried to boot into recovery but I couldn't.
The phone show this when I try to boot into recovery.

Then I tried to flash the recovery again via fastboot. Thing is
Code:
fastboot devices
doesn't list the phone as being connected. I tried 4 different usb ports on my machine.
Also, my phone is listed as unknown device in the device manager although the USB drivers are installed.
Is it dead?
No your phone isn't dead. If it still has root installed, you can download ROM manager from the play store and flash CWM from there. However it won't stick and you will have to flash it again after every reboot. But I think there is a fix somewhere. Just search the forums.

If not even get goo manager beta from market and install twrp recovery and then u should be good to go

You just have to rename the recovery script in /system/etc, reboot into fastboot and flash CWM and it'll stick.
Smh. The op said the phone WONT BOOT! He can't go to the market....
Op your phone is fine. That picture you posted is the stock recovery. Which is useless for you at the moment.
Boot the phone into the bootloader. Use fastboot on a computer to do one of these things. Flash or boot a custom recovery/do a full wipe and flash a full ROM with it. If you want to return to stock ics flash the factory images with fastboot.
Accepted solution
kkk this is my problem. sorry my english is very bad. next link is read and your problem solution.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1572307
Next is my step. Very good.
On Windows:
1) copy the ecxtracted files (two times with 7zip) on android-sdk/platform-tools/ (this is important, if you dont unzip it, dont complain about "radio couldnt be loaded")
2) run a cmd and moves in "platform-tools" folder
3) write those command:
4A) If you are coming from a custom rom, this wipe your data/cache:
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash bootloader bootloader-crespo-********.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot flash radio radio-crespo-********.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot -w update image-********.zip
I install my nexus s i9023 and android JB 4.1.1 then Chainfire3d installed. But not reboot again. I re-flash ICS and update JB. Chainfire is not running JB.
1) You first re-flash your ICS rom
2) Install CWM 6.0.1
3) Updade ICS to JB 4.1.1
3) Re-install CWM 6.0.1
4) Simple root install.
5) Not install again Chainfire3D. kkk it is not compatible JB.

SDcard changed to external1?

Clockwork said that /sdcard/ couldn't be found when trying to install a zip from SD card, so I used a file browser and found that /sdcard/ only had a few folders, not any of my SDcard contents. So I went to /mnt/sdcard/ and there were the same files as /sdcard/. Then I looked in /mnt/external1/ and found all my SD card files.
Is this how it's meant to be? How can I get Clockwork mod working again?
Thanks
Nobody? :crying:

Sorry, the WiFi only version, MZ604. Currently it is running EOS IMM76D nightly, 112.
However CWM still says it can't find /sdcard/, I'm I'm not sure if the ROM caused it.
Can you still access recovery and flash a zip from anywhere accessible in your internal SD card?
Sent from my MZ601 using Tapatalk 2
And I believe you are still on ICS, right? 112 is quite old build...

Here is what I would do,
Thru adb, install this recovery IMG, the best recovery for Xoom. http://d-h.st/WtX
Thus recovery will read external SD, put latest ROM, 129, with latest gapps in external SD,
Boot into your new recovery by pressing power vol up together to see moto logo, then vol down, then vol up.
Wipe data, cache, dalvik, flash the last ROM , gapps, reboot.

Well this is strange. USB debugging is ON and when I plug the device in, it says so, and it also says it's connected as a media device (but doesn't show up on the computer because the SD card is now external1), but when I do adb reboot bootloader, it says the device isn't connected I tried two cables, both work fine on my HTC One X.
When it says device not connected, try to reboot your Xoom to fast boot, and fire the command. You may have a driver issue , try to use another laptop
Sent from my MZ601 using Tapatalk 2
That didn't help either :L
Same thing on an another computer.
I'll be able to try on another later.

I got fastboot to work on my Ubuntu netbook!
I got the latest version of EOS JB on my Xoom now (129). I'll try see now about the SD card. If it is still external1, I'll format it and see what happens. I'll keep you updated
EDIT: Ok, everything seems to be working, sort of. The SD card is now in the right place, only problem is my computer doesn't recognise it. My netbook with Ubuntu does though. I'll check for any drivers etc..
EDIT: I went to device manager and found my Xoom, but there are no drivers..

Heimdall One-Click Defuse. The easiest way to get CWM installed so you can flash ROMs

introduction
Hey guys, I was trying to figure out how to root my device so I could install CWM, so I could install jellybean or something... I totally forgot I made a one-click CWM installer.
Here is a one-click for the Defuse1.5 kernel by LinuxBozo with CWM installed. It's old, but it's a good launchpad for a stock device.
This works on Windows, Linux and Mac and Windows and Linux. Make sure you follow the in-app directions if you've never used Heimdall.
Instructions
1. reboot into Download Mode
2. click the flash button in this app
3. if any problems, repeat with flash bootloaders option checked
4. reboot into recovery
5. flash rom
6. advanced>reboot recovery you will now see a blue recovery instead of orange.
7. flash rom again

Quick question, Adam.
In step three, you had wrote, "repeat with flash bootloaders option checked."
Does this package contain GB bootloaders, being a 2.2.1 kernel?
If someone came directly from 2.2.1 and had never had a previous GB bootloader, will they see the distorted rainbow recovery?
I was not sure if this package had bootloaders.
Thanks.
Thanks, but when click on the download link I just get a page that says welcome to nginx...

Bricked Or Not Bricked?

I have a friends G2x here I wiped his sdcard cause he said he had a back up but he did not but we had it running on hellfire. He wanted me to install CM7 for him so I went ahead did a factory data reset, wiped cache, delvik, and formated his /sdcard cause it was full and he said he had everything on his computer. Well After doing the wipes an formatting I mounted the sdcard via cwm and put on the cm7.zip and gapp.zip flashed both went to reboot and now it only gets to the second LG boot logo with I guess cm7 design behind it and then reboots so I am bootlooping but I am able to boot into recovery still so I am like WTF happend? lol Ive tried a few things already but I was wondering if anyone had this happen to them? By the way my friend only backed up photos no his whole sdcard so I have no Nandriodbackup :crying: FAIL
also just found out via CWM trying to mount internal SDCARD I get this error:
E: Cant Mount /emmc/
seems like there is no /sys file when I do error report i get
failed to open /sys/class/android_usb/android0/stat: No Such File or directory
Was CWM flashed using nvflash or ROM Manager?
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda premium
I'd use nvflasher and start from scratch. also did you goto mounts and format system?
i always do before flashing new rom.
Sent via G2x on CM7 b135.2 w/faux 52 kernel
Well original install I am not sure he bought the phone an it was rooted but I did do nvflash to cwm and to stock to see if either would boot and it didnt work either way it but I did the NVFLASH CWM so I could have CWM recovery but right now all i can do is boot into recovery if I try to boot system it just bootloops
I have formatted /sys , /sdcard, attempted to format /emmc but it gets an error and says cant mount skip format is it possible his internal sdcard or memory is dead?
Try using the Batch Cleanup tool. You can find it in the Dev section. Then flash a GB ROM and see what happens
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda premium
The G2X is nearly impossible to brick. There is almost no way to brick it. There will always be an answer from the community ready to help.

Ok I am going to try to use that batch clean up tool in the dev section will post results
Ok so did the batch had done it early as well here is a pic of the cmd I ran looks good to me and I am able to boot into recovery but once more I end up boot looping I attempted to install cm7 should I try a different gb rom?
Thanks for the help and suggestions everyone I finally got it did the batch clean up then went ahead and located stock rooted nandroid backup files setup the directory in the sdcard and then restored back up and Booted right up into stock rooted device! I then re-attempted to flash the cm7 latest stable an sends me into boot loop so I am going to say that the rom .zip on that latest cm7 stable is corrupt or something went ahead to the previous stable before that one and flashed it booted right up ! so Thanks a lot again guys and hopefully this will be helpful to anyone else that may encounter this same issue I knew it could be fixed since I could boot into recovery

No SD card

Please help... I have flashed this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/goog...eview-t2796003 with the recovery method and now I can´t see my files because the mobile sais that I don´t have SD Card. I tried this to solve it using this:
Got "No SDCard" error?
This is because 4.4.x seems to point to: storage/emulated/0 & L points to: data/media/0
Solution:
- Mount system in TWRP/CWM
- Wipe system, dalvik, data, cache
- Unmount system
- Install ROM
- Factory reset
- Reboot
- Go back to recovery & flash SuperSU (link above).
- Reboot
But doing that I only can see the folders, but when I enter in them it doesnt show any file
When I try to restore the nandroid backup that i make before install Android L I cant see the file on TWRP so I can´t restore it... How can I come back to KitKat?
It was mentioned on another thread but I don't remember by whom so can't give proper credit but from a terminal emulator on your phone run
su
storecon -r /data/media/0/*
See if that works

Ok, I get back to 4.4.4 by flashing again my ROM and once I did that, I could be able to see files on the KitKat storage, I moved the nandroid to the L storage and I restored it. But now I have the problem that now I have two different storages (The L´s one it´s the preset) How could I change the storage now? restorecon -r... What else?
