I'm pretty sure I've already read here that I can flash a 3110 firmware on a 3100. I know, of course, that I would loose phone and 3G features, but is this safe or would I brick the 3100?
Thanks

This should help
First of all, there is no official Jelly Bean for the Galaxy S III.
Second of all, the only working (as in functioning but not for daily use) port of Jelly Bean is for the i9300 (international model) only.
Thirdly, buying a carrier-specific model was the worst mistake you could make. You have a locked bootloader on your Verizon version, and on top of that, you'll be one of the last people to get the update, if Verizon even feels like pushing it out.
Short answer: Don't waste your breath.

I could use some help with this too. Specifically, is it possible for me to unroot it if required (clearing any traces of having rooted) ?
I apologize if this is a stupid question but.......
My P5100 is running 4.0.4, what would happen if I flash (is that the correct word to use?) it with the 4.0.4 firmware designed for the N8000 (Galaxy Note 10.1)?
Do not try this
May hard brick your tab
The hardware is different so the tab may not boot at all (dead)

You wind up with a fancy expensive door stop.

what about data connectivity??..is it unstable??..i mean both mobile data and wifi
Same as mearet or searet, stable in my phone but still have the issue that 3g data will not connect unless I switch to air plane mode on-off
I think it's provider related.
I'm thinking of flashing gb radio soon.

I just got a P5113, and it came with 4.1.1. I rooted it, and it now has CWM touch 6.0.2.3. I'm just wondering if there is a stock based ROM for the p5113, but one that is "cleaner" aka deodexed, zipaligned, pre-rooted, potentially debloated. thank you
Is it the US Wi-Fi only model?

Hello
I newly bought this note 10,2..
The model number is 8020, version with wifi and 4g LTE (denmark)
Very nice tablet, and it matches my sg3 very goodt
But of course i'm out to find some custom roms.
will I have all the functions espacielly 4g if I install a rom made for the 8013?
and what are the differences?
Thank you
No. 8010 and 8013 are wifi only. If you use one of those roms ,you will loose 4g.

You can try to flash one but keep the 8020 modem and kernel if you know how... At your own risk of course.
